Copepod is useful live food organism in the larval rearing. However of fin fish, culcures of copepod species (Specially calanoida and cyclopoida) were very difficult under artificial management conditions. In this study, we report successful culture of a free swimming cyclopodia copepod species (Apocyclops sp.) by easily baker's yeast as food. The maximum culture density of Apocyclops sp. was observed 11,200±2,660 ind/ℓ during the 30 days culture periods in the 1.5ℓ culture tanks. The nauplii were growth up maximum density 6,400±432 ind/ℓ on day 16th. The number of egg carring female was observed maximum density (666.7 ind./ℓ) of two times after 6days and 28 days of initial culture.

1983년 5월부터 1989년 5월까지 남한의 각종 담수역 총 141개 지점에서 채집하여 서울대학교 동물학과에 보관중이던 검물벼룩류의 표본들을 검토한 ㅕㄹ과 검물벼룩과에 속하는 2아과 12속 25종 및 아종을 동정하였다. 이중 한국미기록종으로 밝혀진 17종에 대하여는 재기재를 하고 도판을 작성하였다.

Four new species of the genus Panjakus (Copepoda, Cyclopoida, Anchimolgiae) are described as associates of scleractinian corals from the eastern Ceram, the Moluccas: P fastigatus and P. parvipes from Hydnophora microconos (Lamarck), and P. saccipes and P. iratus from Platygyra ryukyuensis Yabe and Sugiyama. A key to 11 known species of Panjakus is provided.

A new cyclopoid species belonging to the genus Acanthocyclops is described from several mountain springs in South Korea. This species is allied to A. kieferi species group in sharing 11-segmented antennules, but is, clearly distinguished from them by its single apical spine on the third endopodal segment of leg 4 and an extra spine on the distal segment of leg 5 in both sexes.

A new species of the genus Farranula Wilson, 1942 (Cyclopoida, Corycaeidae) is described based on both sexes collected off Chuuk Island in Micronesia (West Central Pacific). The new species F. dahlae differs from its close congener F. gibbula (Giesbrecht, 1891) in the following combination of characters in both sexes: body length is longer, length to width ratio of caudal rami is larger, basal element of maxilliped is distinctly longer, and terminal spine to distal segment ratio of P4 is smaller; while in females, lateral margins of fourth pedigerous somite are extended to mid-region of second urosomal somite, maximum width of the second urosomal somite is located at middle region in dorsal and lateral views, and length ratio of caudal seta III to seta V is much larger; and in males, sharply contracted portion of second somite is located at two-thirds distance from anterior margin. Some additional morphological details of F. gibbula are given and a key to species of the genus Farranula is provided.

Fifteen species of poecilostome copepods associated with marine invertebrates, including ten new species, are recorded from intertidal zone in Thailand. New species are Hemicyclops cornutus n. sp. and Hemicyclops parapiculus n. sp. in the family Clausidiidae, Presynaptiphilus trifurcatus n. sp. in the Synaptiphilidae, Anchimolgus kantariensis n. sp. and Anchimolgus palmatus n. sp. in the Anchimolgidae, Kelleria vasfera n. sp. in the Kelleridae, Pseudanthessius stenosus n. sp. and Pseudanthessius phuketensis n. sp. in the Pseudanthessiidae, Doricidola pattayensis n. sp., and Lambanetes mollis n. sp. in the Rhynchomolgidae. Five species are new records of Thailand: Critomolgus gemmatus (Humes, 1964), Doridicola cuspis (Humes, 1964), Doridicola inaequalis (Humes and Ho, 1966), Indomolgus brevisetosus (Humes and Ho, 1966), and Lambanetes stichodactylae Humes, 1982. The female of Lambanetes stichodectylae is described for the first time in the world.
