  • On-line diagnosis system has been developed and is now applied the detection of shorted-turn in the field winding of large generator. This system consists of data aquisition system and display PC. The data aquisition system detects voltage waveform from flux probe sensor installed in the stator slot. The display PC shows the shorted-turn situation of generator rotor winding.

  • In order to analyze voltage, current electrical power, harmonic and so on of electrical load equipments, electrical power analysis by real measurement rather than mathematical modeling is necessary, and plan of countermeasure for efficient management, energy frugality and accident prevention of electrical equipments using it is possible Especially, electrical power analysis by real measurement is indispensable in order to consider countermove of harmonic occurred by nonlinear load So, in this paper, we developed DSP(Digital Signal Processor) based low price date aquisition system, and verified it's ability by performing measurement and analysis of electrical power and harmonic in the real power system.

  • We have developed a remote diagnosis system using the LAN and MODEM which enables a routine check for a patient remotely. We used $LabVIEW^{TM}$ as the programing development tool and DAQ (Data Aquisition) board from National Instrument for data aquisition. The LAN card and MODEM are used for the transmission of patient's data. A patient data are aquired by DAQ board and signal processing is done by $LabVIEW^{TM}$, which is a graphical prgamming language. Two methods for the data of transmission. One is the Client-Server model using TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Address) in the LAN (Local Area Network) Another is using MODEM to transmit the measured data from a patient. In this case, the data transmission is accomplished by the FTP (File Transfer Protocol).

  • On-line diagnosis system has been developed and is now applied the detection of shorted turns in the field winding of large generator. This system consists of data aquisition system and display PC. The data aquisition system detects voltage waveforms from flux probe sensor installed in the stator slot. The display PC shows theshorted-turn situation of generator rotor winding. A shorted-turn diagnosis test wasperformed on five gas turbine generators at the Seoinchon combined cycle power plant. The test was conducted using an new diagnosis system and digital oscilloscope which can identify the pole location, the slot number and the number of shorted turns within each slot. It is confirmed that results of two systems are very same in the field tests.

  • In this paper, we developed the on-line Data Aquisition System(DAS) of distribution transformers using the hardware and monitoring program. The DAS consists of the top oil temperature sensing part, ambient temperature sensing part, load current sensing part, acoustic emission peak-value sensing part, acoustic emission pulse counter part, micro-processor part and wireless communication part. The Monitoring System consists of the communication setting, online monitoring and database construction part. The DAS send the data acquired from the some sensors of the distribution transformers to the host PC. The monitoring program of the host PC stores the data to database. And the monitoring system estimates the loss of life time for distribution transformer from the DB. Thus, it could be managed the career and the functional lifetime of the transformer more efficiently than existing methodologies.

  • Acquisition of 3D points is an essential process for modelling of physical 3D objects. Although Coordinate Measuring Machine(CMM) is most accurate for this purpose, it is very time consuming. To enhance the data aquisition speed for scuptured surfaces, active vision with reflecctometric method was used for our system. A fter the data acquisition, the system automatically generates cutting tool path for the 3-axis milling of the object. The fullyintegrated system from the data acquisition to the NC-code generation was implemented with IBN-PC/386 and necessary hardwears.
