This study was conducted to investigate the materials deposit policies and service policies of overseas collaborative repositories and provide practical data that can be referred to the management of the collaborative repository in Korea. For this purpose, this study tried to analyzed websites of 7 collaborative repositories and related data. Materials deposit policies were focused on duplicate materials, criteria of materials to be accepted, ownership and withdrawal and service policies were focused on on-site services and off-site services including circulation and document delivery service(electronic copy and photocopy). The results of this study can be used as practical data for the establishment of guidelines for collaborative repository in Korea.

Recently, many researches have been conducted to solve data heterogeneity as a way for data integration. The elements of the system that we suggest are an XMDR wrapper and XMDR Repository. XMDR wrapper solves the heterogeneity of the existing system by creating the interface based on the standard information of XMDR, and performing the inter-conversion between global XMDR query and local query using mapping data on standard information and local schema. XMDR Repository are composed of XMDR which manages the mapping data on standard information and local schema, and of Proxy DB which saves the accomplished results. With XMDR wrapper and XMDR Repository, users can use the same interface, and they need not conduct repeated queries since XMDR wrapper not only solves the heterogeneity of the schema using the meta-semantic ontology of XMDR, but also considers the heterogeneity accompanying the meaning of the value through instance semantic ontology. Therefore, in this paper we suggest the grid wrapper for the solution of data heterogeneity and efficient data integration.

Bentonite buffer is one of the major components of an engineered barrier for an HLW (High-Level Waste) repository. The bentonite buffer is significantly exposed to the decay heat from radioactive wastes, the inflow of groundwater from the surrounding rock of the repository, and the high swelling pressure of densely-compacted bentonite that comes in contact with the groundwater. Therefore, it is essential to understand the THM (Thermal-Hydro-Mechanical) behavior of the bentonite buffer and to acquire the input data of its related constitutive models for the performance and safety assessment of an HLW repository. This paper analyzed the THM properties which have been obtained by conducting laboratory tests with a candidate buffer material for a Korean HLW repository. Moreover the formulation recipe of the reference bentonite buffer was defined on the basis of functional criteria, thus suggesting the THM properties which correspond to the formulation recipe of the reference bentonite buffer.

The institutional repository and linked data share a purpose, co-creation and joint usage of information resources. Therefore, a new approach linking these two concepts can be utilized for co-production and utilization of resources. This study hoped to configure the Korean dCollection repository as linked data. For this purpose, first, we analyzed the current data structure of dColleciton. Second, we investigated the resource types which dCollection is targeting. Third, we focused and analyzed a case study of resource types targeted by dCollection constructed as linked data. Fourth, this study examined in detail how to build the linked dCollection data and how to connect this linked data to the linked cloud. Finally, we discussed the problems that might oc cur in the process of building the linked data.

As the discussions on sharing research data prevail by the chance of the inauguration of the International Open Data Charter, research support organizations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan are encouraging researchers to deposit their findings in a credible repository. Humanities and social sciences field, in which research data sharing culture and storage infrastructure are immature compared to life science and natural science, also needs to establish and operate a reliable storage infrastructure to guarantee the continuous access and utilization of data. This study analyzed the overall operational status of 305 subject repositories registered in re3data for the humanities and social sciences and clustered them according to the operational level using 5 indicators. As a result, 70% of the population were identified as universal clusters, and 20% of the excellent cluster was found to have the largest number of linguistic fields and the German-operated. In addition, this study confirmed through correspondence analysis that there is a relation between the sub-theme fields of humanities and social sciences and the types of data to be archived. The history and art domians are related to images, and social studies are related to statistical data. Linguistics has also been analyzed to be related to audio, plain text, and code.

XML is recommended by W3C(World Wide Web) and widely accepted as a standard markup language for expression and sharing data. Recently, increasing the use and the amount of XML documents, there is required that easy methods for accessing XML documents at anytime and anywhere, therefore, the distributed XML repository systems is developed. For this, distributed XML repository systems is necessary to research catalog management schemes. In this paper, we design distributed XML database model considering CPU costs, I/O costs, concurrency control, two-phase commits a protocol, queuing delay and so on. And we implement a simulator in order to execute performance evaluation centralized catalog method, fully replicated catalog method, and partitioned catalog method using reasonably setting up environments.

In this study, the use statistics by type of data in the A university of a Institutional Repository(IR) with exponential growth in usage and the trend of changes in the access path for users to access A-IR were analyzed. In particular, it was verified that securing various exposure paths contributed to the spread of A-IR by focusing on the change in the approach path, and also confirmed that the method of communication between the ages, such as SNS, is used as the approach path of A-IR. Through this process, the company was planning to suggest the direction of operation, including diversification of exposure paths that activate the institutional repository.

The swelling pressure of a potential buffer material was measured and the effect of dry density, bentonite content and initial water content on the swelling pressure was investigated to provide the information for the selection of buffer material in a high-level waste repository. Swelling tests were carried out according to Box-Behnken's experimental design. Measured swelling pressures were in the wide range of 0.7 Kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ to 190.2 Kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ under given experimental conditions. Based upon the experimental data, a 3-factor polynomial swelling model was suggested to analyze the effect of dry density, bentonite content and initial water content on the swelling pressure The swelling pressure increased with an increase in the dry density and bentonite content, while it decreased with increasing the initial water content and, beyond about 12 wt.% of the initial water content, levelled off to nearly constant value.

As life expectancy increases, chronic diseases become a problem, and health management in daily life becomes important. With the development of IT convergence technology, personal health records have been collected through various data sources, but they are saved separately by each medical services. Distributed storage of personal health records caused inconvenience about managing the user's health records. In this paper, we designed and implemented an integrated repository and web-based dashboard UI components to solve that inconvenience. The proposed method shows that users can manage their personal health records in the integrated repository effectively and show them through dashboard UI components.

In this paper, we designed a repository structure for components retrieval. The repository is consisted of data, process, and view for syntax analyzer, retrieval method, viewer, and reuse. We used enhanced spreading activation algorithm for components retrieval and showed the retrieval results. The retrieval result shows the components in order of high priority. Thus components reusability is improved.
