  • This study aims to design a humanities model for preliminary universities using an online platform to develop and expand humanities thinking of preliminary university students. P University Expert Focus Group Interview and student surveys are conducted, and based on the analysis results, a preliminary university model suitable for the humanities field is proposed. Expert FGI suggested the necessity of human resources education to build an online platform-based preliminary university model and improve humanities capabilities. As a result of the student survey, it was found that a majority of the respondents had high interest in humanities and recognized the need for a humanities preliminary university. This study proposes a humanities-based preliminary university model that enables interactive communication in virtual space using the cross-platform Photo Server. The implication of this study is that it contributes to strengthening the humanities capabilities of preliminary university students by presenting an online platform preliminary university model that can respond to changes in the external environment. Since this study has a limitation in that it does not present examples of preliminary universities, it is necessary to verify the educational effect of platform-based ppreliminary university management in the future.

  • Purpose: It is necessary to prepare more groundbreaking measures to prevent recurrence in order to reduce the number of industrial accidents in Korea that occur steadily. In particular, since workers with disabilities are much more vulnerable to disaster safety than non-disabled workers, there is a great need to build a customized safety environment system suitable for the characteristics of the work in which workers with disabilities work and to promote management efficiency. Research design, data and methodology: Based on the analysis of the actual status of safety and health management of workplaces for the disabled, such as small, medium-sized and major businesses in Korea, an app was designed and developed to improve safety and health management efficiency of workplaces for the disabled. First, it was designed so that managers of workplaces with disabilities can understand at a glance key legal information that managers need to know and it was improved to suit the eye level of disabled workers so that they could self-evaluate the risk of their work by applying the risk assessment model for workplaces with disabilities. In addition, a mobile education environment was created in which safety and health education contents suitable for the characteristics of disabled workers can be learned by themselves. Results: When this app is applied to domestic workplaces, it is possible to check the exact contents of occupational safety and health education and easily search and check various legal information anytime, anywhere, allowing managers and disabled workers to quickly and efficiently manage various safety information. Conclusions: In addition, the establishment of a mobile safety and health management system that can quickly identify and clearly respond to various legal standards and risks of workplaces with disabilities can be expected to help prevent industrial accidents at workplaces with disabilities in Korea.

  • Banking and finance is a broad term that incorporates a variety of smaller, more specialized subjects such as corporate finance, tax finance, and insurance finance. A virtual assistant that assists users in searching for information about banking and finance terms might be an extremely beneficial tool for users. In this study, we explored the process of searching for information, seeking opportunities, and developing a virtual assistant in the first stages of starting learning and understanding Vietnamese to increase effectiveness and save time, which is also an innovative business practice in Use-case Vietnam. We built the FIBA2020 dataset and proposed a pipeline that used Natural Language Processing (NLP) inclusive of Natural Language Understanding (NLU) algorithms to build chatbot applications. The open-source framework RASA is used to implement the system in our study. We aim to improve our model performance by replacing parts of RASA's default tokenizers with Vietnamese tokenizers and experimenting with various language models. The best accuracy we achieved is 86.48% and 70.04% in the ideal condition and worst condition, respectively. Finally, we put our findings into practice by creating an Android virtual assistant application using the model trained using Whitespace tokenizer and the pre-trained language m-BERT.

  • In July of last year, the Korean version of the New Deal National Report Conference was held in the presence of the President, and the "Korean version of the New Deal Comprehensive Plan" was announced as its core strategy. In the field of education, the "Green Smart Future School" project has been included as one of the top 10 Korean New Deal projects. And last year, due to the spread of non-face-to-face classes due to COVID-19, the demand for ICT technology in front-line education sites rapidly increased. Therefore, In this paper, we examine the problems of the wireless network and wired infrastructure of the classroom in the past, and design wired network infrastructure and wireless network equipment for green smart classrooms with high-speed wireless networks that can be used for non-face-to-face and face-to-face classes, and build them in actual classrooms. An example for the following was presented.

  • When checking the state of deterioration or damage structures, regular visual inspection has very important role. At this point, a visual inspection is performed mainly by sketch or photography with a camera of inspectors. If that happens, it takes a lot of effort and time to inspect appearance damages. The purpose of this study is to develop the automatic recognition system for a more efficient and effective inspection of appearance damages. In the process, the image processing technology and the data management & analysis system for damage recognition are mainly developed and applied. This automatic recognition system enables inspectors or clients to obtain correct data that can recognize a damage, such as, crack, water leakage, efflorescence, delamination (peeling), spalling, etc. In addition, this study takes aim at the effect of secure safety, functional maintenance and extension of design lifetime according to build up continuous and systematic data management system.

Thus, this research examines the effect of LMX on employee loyalty in the context of hotel business and identifies mediating roles of work stressors, work role performance in the relationship between LMX and employee loyalty. This research suggests the guidelines for how hotel leaders should manage their employees and build employee loyalty that improve management and business performance. Research design, data, and methodology - This study tests the structural relationship between LMX, work stressors, work role performance, and employee loyalty. Work role performance divide into three sub-dimensions such as individual task proficiency, individual task adaptivity, and individual task proactivity. In order to examine the purposes of this research, research model and hypotheses were developed. All constructs were measured with multiple items developed and tested in the previous studies. The data were collected from 113 franchise hotel employees and were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 and SmartPLS 3 program. Result - The findings of this research are as follows. First, leader-member exchange(LMX) have significant positive impacts on work stressors, work role performance, and employee loyalty. Second, work stressors have significant negative impacts on work role performance and employee loyalty. Third, work role performance has significant positive impact on employee loyalty. Conclusions - The outcomes of this research indicate that hotel leaders should focus on the dyadic relationship with their employees how to improve employee productivity through LMX relationship. In turn, the quality of this relationship influences employees's work attitudes and behaviors. As a result of increasing job demands in hotel business which relies heavily on human resources, the hotel leader must find ways to prevent or reduce stressors and associated strains. If hotel employees perceive the high quality of LMX relationship, they improve their work role performance which influences loyalty. Therefore, the hotel leaders should develop monetary or non-monetary reward system for the employees and, make an efforts to have unique social exchange relationships with employees.

  • The use of smart home appliances and Internet of Things (IoT) devices is growing, enabling new interactions and automation in the home. This technology relies heavily on mobile services which leaves it vulnerable to the increasing threat of hacking, identity theft, information leakage, serious infringement of personal privacy, abnormal access, and erroneous operation. Confirming or proving such security breaches have occurred is also currently insufficient. Furthermore, due to the restricted nature of IoT devices, such as their specifications and operating environments, it is difficult to provide the same level of internet security as personal computers. Therefore, to increase the security on smart home IoT devices, attention is needed on (1) preventing hacking and user authority theft; (2) disabling abnormal manipulation; and (3) strengthening audit records for device operation. In response to this, we present a plan to build a cloud security authentication platform which features security authentication management functionality between mobile terminals and IoT devices.
