  • The diagnostic software for the wastewater treatment plant using activated-sluge process is developed in order to increase the efficiency of management of the wastewater treatment plant. This software is based on the expert system and the visualized user interface, including the diagnosis of quantitative and qualitative data. For the generalization of this software, the initialization of each unit process and updating the files can be possible.

  • Objectives : To qualify or enhance the diagnostic ability of students in Oriental Medicine, so called standardized patients are ideal modality, but because it's a man-based method, more convenient tools are required. Computer-based diagnostic ability test program gives effective way for the very purpose. So we made a pilot software evaluating Pattern Identification ability in Oriental Medicine. Methods and Materials : The pilot software was coded with Microsoft's EXCEL VBA. 87 names of Zheng (Symptom Pattern) and 674 names of symptom (including some signs) are adopted from the former standardization works conducted by Korean Institute of Oriental Medicine (KIOM) in 1996. Results : Compared with some manned modalities to test Pattern Identification ability, the test by this software shows superiority in convenience and objectivity. Conclusion : This software is world's first program to perform computer-based evaluation of Pattern Identification in Oriental Medicine, and it gives effective way to complement both written test and manned clinical performance test (CPX).

  • In this paper, we present a new method for monitoring of ECU's self diagnostic signals of vehicle without wire. In order to measure the ECU's self diagnostic signals, the interfaced circuit is designed to communicate ECU and a designed display terminal according to the ISO, SAE regulation of communication protocol standard. A 80C196KC processor is used for communicating ECU's self diagnostic signals and the results are sent to PDA monitoring system. Software on PDA is developed to monitor the ECU's self diagnostic signals using the Embedded Visual C++ compiler in which RS232 port is programmed by half duplex method. The algorithms for measuring the ECU's self diagnostic signals are verified to monitor ECU's state. At the same time, the information to fix the vehicle's problem can be shown on the developed PDA software. The possibility for remote measurement of ECU self diagnostic signal using PDA is also verified through the developed systems and algorithms.

  • In this paper. we present a new method for monitoring of ECU's self diagnostic signals of vehicle without wire. Micro-processor 80C196KC is used for communicating ECU's self diagnositc signals and the results are sent to the wireless terminal and PC monitoring system. Wireless terminal is also developed by 80C196KC, LCD, RF module, and keypad. The command from the keypad is sent to ECU through RF module and the result show on the Graphic LCD in real time. Software on PC is developed to monitor the ECU's self diagnostic signals using the Visual C++ complier in which RS232 port is programmed by half duplex method. The algorithms for measuring the ECU's self diagnostic signals are verified to monitor both ECU and portable terminal state. At the same time, the information to fix the vehicle's problem can be shown on the developed software. The possibility for remote measurement of ECU self diagnostic signal is verified through the developed systems and algorithms.

  • In order to diagnose a vehicle, it is achieved by collecting diagnostic data within the ECU or between ECUs and managing the diagnostic data by utilizing various communication methods through an electronic device composed of an ECU(Electronic Control Unit), which is an automotive electronic device. As communication methods, LIN, CAN, FlexRay are mainly used. Recently, wired/wireless communication is being used based on Ethernet. In order to perform vehicle diagnosis, it is necessary to know the diagnosis code generated by the ECU and to collect diagnosis data using diagnosis communication. In addition, diagnostic data can be managed from the ECU only when the application software required for vehicle diagnosis is configured. If many automobile manufacturers are manufacturing ECUs based on the AUTOSAR standard, which is an automotive electronic standard, the software structure is also configured to be applied according to the standard. In this paper, we understand the vehicle diagnosis communication method of the AUTUSAR standard, study the configuration and processing method of diagnosis data, and study the contents of software components, diagnosis communication, and diagnosis event processing.

  • In order to collect vehicle internal diagnostic data, it is necessary to collect diagnostic data of ECU (Electronic Control Unit) included in various automotive parts. Diagnostic communication can be used to collect diagnostic data of ECU. In this paper, the method of collecting diagnostic data according to ECU function through standard diagnostic communication and the diagnostic communication module were analyzed. Among the standard modules of AUTOSAR, a standard for automotive electronics used by many automobile manufacturers, the diagnostic communication module was studied, and the process of diagnostic data processing through ECU was studied.

  • Recently, Ethernet-based Diagnostic Over Internet Protocol (DoIP) was applied to automotive systems, and in-vehicle gateways have been introduced to integrate Ethernet with traditional in-vehicle networks, such as the local interconnect network (LIN), controller area network (CAN) and FlexRay. The introduction of in-vehicle gateways and of Ethernet based diagnostic protocols not only decreases the complexity of the networks, but also reduces the update time for ECU software reprogramming while enabling the use of a range of services, including remote diagnostics. In this paper, a diagnostic gateway was implement for an automotive system, and the performance measurements are presented. In addition, a range of applications provided by the diagnostic gateway are proposed.

  • The purpose of paper is to implement a PC-based software for 3D visualization of brain fiber tractography and high-resolution anatomical data 서론: DTI (Diffusion tensor imaging) is a very useful noninvasive MRI technique for providing the direction and connectivity information of brain fiber tracts. Especially in patients with glioma, fiber tracts on the lesion side in the brain had varying degrees of displacement or disruption as a result of the tumor. Tract disruption resulted from direct tumor involvement, compression on the tract, and vasogenic edema surrounding the tumor. To combine information on fiber tracts surrounding turner with a high-resolution anatomical 3D image may be clinically useful for surgical planning. Therefore we implemented a software for visualizing both brain fiber tractography and anatomical data.
