클라우드 컴퓨팅 서비스의 확산으로 범죄수사를 위한 증거수집의 관점에서 불확실성으로 인한 다양한 실무적이고 법적인 문제가 제기되고 있다. 이 논문은 클라우드 환경에 대한 일반적인 수사상의 논점을 개관하고, 관할과 국제공조를 비롯한 문제점을 진단한다. 실무적으로 직접적으로 수사관이 접속하는 경우와 서비스제공자의 협조를 받는 경우의 장단점을 비교하여 실무적 개선방안을 논의하고 이에 따른 관할의 중복과 서비스 약정 및 포렌식적으로 무결한 데이터 수집 등 법률적 쟁점을 정리한다.

Our study focus on the investigations of the effect of IPRs, the relationship Digital TV with MPEG-2, and the MPEG LA stands. MPEG LA, which build up the strong patent pool, manage to IPRs system of MPEG-2. And we examine the influence of the effect for the. patent of Digital TV and IPRs based on MPEG LA Licensing agreement. Results of this study shows that to be valuable the IPRs of MPEG-2 related to Digital TV, Korea needs the strategies for effective IPRs negotiations and technical accumulation through offensive patent management, and so on.

Purpose: The scope of forensic investigations serves to identify malicious activities, including leakage of crucial corporate information. The investigations also identify security lapses in available networks. The purpose of the present study is to explore how to block distribution channels to protect illegal leakage in supply chain through digital forensic method. Research design, data and methodology: The present study conducted the qualitative textual analysis and its data collection process entails five steps: identifying and collecting data, determining coding categories, coding the content, checking validity and reliability, and analyzing and presenting the results. This methodology is a significant research method due to its high quality of previous resources. Results: Applying previous literature analysis to the results of this study, the author figured out that there are four solutions as an evidences to block distribution channels, preventing illegal leakage regarding company information. The following subtitles show clear solutions: (1) Communicate with Stakeholders, (2) Preventing and addressing illegal leakage, (3) Victims of Data Breach, (4) Focusing Solely on Technical Teams. Conclusion: There are difficult scenarios that continue to introduce difficult questions surrounding engagement with digital evidence. Consequently, it is important to enhance data handling to provide answers for organizations that suffer due to illegal leakages of sensitive information.

An online social network is a platform that is continuously expanding, which enables groups of people to share their views and communicate with one another using the Internet. The social relations among members of the public are significantly improved because of this gesture. Despite these advantages and opportunities, criminals are continuing to broaden their attempts to exploit people by making use of techniques and approaches designed to undermine and exploit their victims for criminal activities. The field of digital forensics, on the other hand, has made significant progress in reducing the impact of this risk. Even though most of these digital forensic investigation techniques are carried out manually, most of these methods are not usually appropriate for use with online social networks due to their complexity, growth in data volumes, and technical issues that are present in these environments. In both civil and criminal cases, including sexual harassment, intellectual property theft, cyberstalking, online terrorism, and cyberbullying, forensic investigations on social media platforms have become more crucial. This study explores the use of machine learning techniques for addressing criminal incidents on social media platforms, particularly during forensic investigations. In addition, it outlines some of the difficulties encountered by forensic investigators while investigating crimes on social networking sites.

해양사고 조사의 결과는 원인규명은 물론 가해자 및 피해자의 과실여부와 과실정도를 판단하는 중요한 결정기준이 되고 있다. 그러나 해양사고는 해양이라는 특수한 환경에서 발생하기 때문에 사고현장의 보존, 사고 재연 및 목격자 확보 곤란 등 원인규명의 어려움이 있다. 이러한 해양사고의 특징으로 국제해사기구에서는 최근 발달된 전파통신 및 항해기술을 해상인명안전 협약에 도입하여 일정 규모 이상의 선박에 항해자료기록장치와 선박자동식별장치의 설치를 의무화하였고, 국제적으로 통일된 사고조사와 공조를 위해 발효한 새로운 해양사고 조사코드에서는 각 체약국에게 항해자료기록장치의 분석역량을 갖추도록 권고하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 선박용 블랙박스인 항해자료기록장치의 데이터 유형을 분석하고 디지털 포렌식 절차와 기법을 활용하여 사고원인을 효율적으로 조사할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.

다양한 형태로 표면 웹에 급증하고 있는 공개정보(OSINT)는 프로파일링 기법을 사용하여 범죄 수사에도 활용할 수 있다. 이러한 기술은 미국 등 외국의 수사기관에서는 상당히 보편화되었으며 일부는 고도화 작업도 진행하고 있다. 반면에 국내의 경우 많이 사용하지 못할 뿐 아니라 수사 인력의 개인적 경험과 지식수준에 따라 획득하는 정보의 양과 질에 있어서 큰 편차를 보이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 가장 잘 알려진 Bazzell의 모델과 달리 한국적 웹 환경을 고려하고 시간 정보까지 제공해주는 한국형 공개정보 기반 프로파일링 기법을 개선된 워크플로우를 중심으로 제시한다. 아울러 프로파일링의 효율성 향상을 목적으로 설계한 검색 데이터베이스의 스키마도 제시한다. 이곳에서 제시한 기법을 사용하면 범죄 수사에서 있어서 일정 수준의 양과 질을 보장하는 검색 결과를 얻을 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 관련 수사 인력에 대한 표준 훈련 과정으로도 사용할 수 있다. 아울러 이 기법을 활용한 범죄 수사의 실효성과 효율성을 높이려면 법률적 기반강화 및 동화된 기술 도입이 더 필요하다.

전통적인 형사 사건에서 조사 대상에 관한 정보는 국가의 합법적 조직이 보유하고 있는 개인정보만이 제공되기 때문에 정보 수집에 한계가 있다. 일반 검색엔진으로 검색이 가능한 SNS와 포털사이트를 포함하는 표면 웹 기반 공개정보(OSINT)는 범죄수사에 사용할 수 있는 의미 있는 프로파일링에 활용할 수 있다. 한국형 공개정보 워크플로우를 사용하면 공개정보 기반의 효과적인 프로파일링이 가능하지만 "개인"의 경우에는 "성명"으로 시작되기 때문에 수집할 수 있는 공개정보가 제한적이고 동명이인의 정보가 수집되는 등의 신뢰성의 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위해 개인과 연관된 정보 즉, 등가정보를 정의하고 이를 기반으로 효율적이고 정확한 정보를 수집할 수 있도록 한다. 따라서, 공개정보에서 특정인과 연관된 정보 즉, 등가정보를 추출할 수 있는 개선된 워크플로우를 제시한다. 이때 인물의 인지도에 따라 서로 다른 워크플로우를 제시한다. 이를 통해 인물(개인)의 효과적인 프로파일링이 가능하여 수사 정보 수집의 신뢰도를 높인다. 본 연구를 통해 향후에는 해당 워크플로우를 인공지능 기술을 이용하여 수집된 정보의 분석과정을 자동화할 수 있는 시스템을 개발함으로써 범죄 수사에 있어서 공개 정보 활용을 위한 기틀을 마련하고 수사 방식 다양화에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.

디지털 영상매체와 관련된 과학적 기술이 빠르게 진보함에 따라 경찰수사 활동에도 디지털 영상장비의 활용이 보편화되고 있는 추세이다. 그러나, 디지털 영상자료는 종전의 필름방식 사진에 비해 위 변조의 가능성이 높기 때문에 법정에서 확실한 증거로 채택되지 못 할 우려가 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 외국 법정에서 디지털 영상의 지위를 고찰하고 이와 관련하여 우리나라에서 경찰 수사활동시 예상되는 문제점을 검토함으로써 적절한 대응방안을 제시하고자 한다.

Advancements in the imaging and computing technology have opened the path to digital holography for non-destructive investigations of technical samples, material property measurement, vibration analysis, flow visualization and stress analysis in aerospace industry which has widened the application of digital holography in the above fields. In this paper, we demonstrate the non-destructive investigation and micro-structure measurement application of digital holography to the small particles and a biological sample. This paper gives a brief description of the digital holograms recorded with this system and illustratively demonstrated.

An exploration for an emotional intelligence paradigm has been delineated. Emotional intelligence is investigated in terms of composing machine as a modern abstract art. The system consists of interface, plan and performance modules. Design concepts of the system are modular, open, and user friendly to ensure the overall performance. The exploration of art in the view of intelligence, information and structure will restore the balanced sense of the art and the science seek the happiness of life. The investigations of emotional intelligence will establish the foundations of intelligence, information and control technologies.
