Recently, the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) has made progress toward resolving low value, high volume disputes in international e-commerce. At the Working Group's 26th session, two draft procedural rules were addressed. The first discussed the draft of Article 9, entitled "Decision by a neutral party." This is based on the suggestion in 26th session to have a "two track" system of ODR, one including negotiation, facilitated settlement, and arbitration phrases, and the other not including an arbitration phase. The second draft procedural rule, draft Article 10, regards the language of proceedings. In most cases of international e-commerce, the decision of language of an ODR proceeding is a matter of importance, for the language parties could differ from each other. This paper examines several implications of UNCITRAL for Korea, which has unstable ODR system.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of small-group discussion and panel discussion as teaching and learning methods on college students' competencies of communication, problem-solving and leadership in a general education course. Participants were 52 college students, and they participated in the 13-session lessons. The data from questionnaires collected before and/or after the experiment were analyzed using a paired t-test and percent. The results were as follows. First, each 'total' competency in communication, problem-solving and leadership was increased statistically significant after the experiment. Second, in subdomains of each key competency, 'directed communication' and 'understanding the perspective of others' in communication, and 'divergent thinking', 'decision-making' and 'assessment' subdomains in problem-solving, and all subdomains in leadership were increased statistically significant after the experiment. Based on the results and students' opinions about discussions, the education implications for small-group discussion and panel discussion were discussed.

The Japan National Committee for the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) and UICC-Asia Regional Office (ARO) organized an international session as part of the official program of the 72nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Cancer Association to discuss the topic "What is cost-effectiveness in cancer treatment?" Healthcare economics are an international concern and a key issue for the UICC. The presenters and participants discussed the question of how limited medical resources can be best used to support life, which is a question that applies to both developing and industrialized countries, given that cancer treatment is putting medical systems under increasing strain. The emergence of advanced yet hugely expensive drugs has prompted discussion on methodologies for Health Technology Assessment (HTA) that seek to quantify cost and effect. The session benefited from the participation of various stakeholders, including representatives of industry, government and academia and three speakers from the Republic of Korea, an Asian country where discussion on HTA methodologies is already advanced. In addition, the session was joined by a representative of National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) of the United Kingdom, which has pioneered the concept of cost-effectiveness in a medical context. The aim of the session was to advance and deepen understanding of the issue of cost-effectiveness as viewed from medical care systems in different regions.

Background: From 2018 to 2020, the Expert Study on Public Understanding after the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant Accident (the Expert Study Group) identified and analyzed activities designed to promote public understanding of science and radiation since the Fukushima accident, and held discussions on how to achieve public understanding in the situation where public confidence has been lost, and how experts should prepare for dealing with the public. This panel session was held at the 53^rd meeting of the Japan Health Physics Society on June 30, 2020. Materials and Methods: First, three subgroup (SG) leaders reported their research methods and results. Then, two designated speakers, who participated as observers of the Expert Study Group, commented on the activities. Next, the five speakers held a panel discussion. Finally, the rapporteur summarized. Results and Discussion: SG leaders presented reports from researchers and practitioners in health physics and environmental risks who provided information after the Fukushima accident. During the discussion, experts in sociology and ethics discussed the issues, focusing on the overall goals of the three groups, local (personal) and mass communication, and ethical values. Many of the activities instituted by the experts after the accident were aimed at public understanding of science (that is, to provide knowledge to residents), but by taking into account interactions with residents and their ethical norms, the experts shifted to supporting the residents' decision-making through public engagement. The need to consider both content and channels is well known in the field of health communication, and overlaps with the above discussion. Conclusion: How to implement and promote the public engagement in society was discussed in both the floor and designated discussions. Cooperation between local communities and organizations that have already gained trust is also necessary in order to develop relationships with local residents in normal times, to establish an information transmission system, and to make it work effectively.

The 62nd session of the MARINE Environment Protection Committee was held in London from 11 to 15 July 2011. Mandatory measures to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs) from international shipping were adopted at the Committee. The amendment to MARPOL Annex VI includes a new chapter 4 to make mandatory the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) for new ships and the Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan (SEEMP) for all ships. This first mandatory measures on energy efficiency will enter into force on 1 January 2013. This amendment to MARPOL Annex VI will significantly influences the vast majority of the international maritime community. This paper mainly discusses the main results of MEPC 62nd session including the recent Emission Control Area.

Background: To help future generations make accurate value judgments about nuclear power generation and radiation, this study will provide an effective education plan suitable for South Korea by applying and analyzing programs for the understanding of nuclear power within the diversely operated programs in the current Korean education system. Materials and Methods: This study analyzed the difference in educational effects by operating a 13-session regular curriculum for one semester and a one-session short-term curriculum from March to July 2016. Results and Discussion: As a result of operating a 13-session model school and a one-time educational program to analyze behavior changes against the traditional learning model, it was found that all elementary, middle and high school students showed higher acceptability of nuclear power in South Korea. The variation was greater for the model school than the short-term program. Conclusion: To prevent future generations from making biased policy decisions stemming from fear regarding nuclear power, it is necessary to bolster their value judgments in policy decisions by acquiring sufficient information about nuclear power generation and radiation through educational programs.

Structural Integration(SI), known popularty as 'rolfing', is a systematic programme of connective tissue manipulation. thomas w. Myers who has been working with Ida Rolf's recipe since 1975 presents an alternative and developed version(the Anatomy Trains 12-session recipe(ATR)) based on longitudinal myofascial continuities. In comparison with Ida Rolf's recipe, AR has the different base of myofascial meridian. while they have the same outline, principle, and intention. We intend to introduce an effective approach to postural correction and myofascial treatment through discussion on ATR.

As one member of the Korea Society of Systems Engineering (KOSSE) and especially as a member of Sociotechnical Systems session of the KOSSE, I tried to contribute somehow to the activity of KOSSE to help development of better Korea systems. This report is a brief discussion of the need for KOSSE activity in the Cyber Security area especially for the protection of national critical infrastructure systems from cyber terror.
