간접접촉 심전도 측정에서의 오른발구동 접지의 효과와 한계 (The Effect and the Limitation of Driven-right-leg Ground on Indirect-contact ECG measurement)

  • This study reviews the common-mode noise model of indirect-contact ECG measurement which uses capacitive electrode and capacitive ground, and shows the reason of the large common-mode noise in indirect-contact ECG. And then, this study shows driven-right-leg ground in indirect-contact ECG measurement, and reviews how the driven-right-leg ground reduces the common-mode noise. This study then analyzes the relation between the effective area of the indirect-contact ground and the gain of the driven-right-leg circuit. This study introduces the output voltage saturation of the driven-right-leg circuit, which occurs frequently in indirect-contact ECG measurement with the condition of the high ground impedance. This study then shows the effect of the driven-right-leg circuit saturation on the common-mode noise.

간접접촉 심전도 측정에서의 간접접촉 오른발 구동 접지 성능에 대한 연구 (A Study on Performance of Indirect-contact Driven-right-leg Ground in Indirect-contact ECG Measurement)

  • 간접접촉 심전도(IDC-ECG) 측정에 공통 모드 잡음을 줄이기 위해 오른발 구동(Driven-right-leg) 접지 방법을 적용하고 그 접지의 성능을 조사하였다. 최근에 소개된 간접접촉 심전도 측정 기술은 전극과 인체 피부간의 직접 접촉이 필요하지 않기 때문에, 최근에 필요성이 대두되고 있는 가정에서의 장기간 무구속 심전도 측정에 적합한 측정방법으로서 현재 다양한 응용이 연구되고 있다. 그렇지만 간접접촉 심전도는 전원선에 의한 60Hz 잡음이 기존 측정 방법보다 크게 발생하여, 응용 범위의 확대에 제약 조건이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는, 기존의 심전도 측정 방법에 사용되는 오른발 구동 접지 방법을 간접접촉 심전도 측정 방법에도 적용하여, 공통모드 잡음 성분을 반전 증폭하여 의자 좌판(seat)에 깔린 전도성 직물을 통해 인체에 feedback하였다. 이로써 피부와 직접 접촉이 없는 간접 접촉 방식의 오른발 구동 접지를 구현하였으며, 이 접지가 안정적으로 동작되고, 오른발 구동 이득이 약 1000정도에서 40dB 수준의 전원 잡음 감소 됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 연구의 결과로 간접접촉 심전도의 주파수 대역을 기존의 30Hz이하에서 100Hz 수준까지 높일 수 있게 되었으며, 접지 임피던스를 높일 수 있게 되어 간접접촉 심전도의 응용 분야를 더욱 넓힐 수 있게 되었다.

개선된 가딩(Guarding) 회로를 사용한 트랜스콘덕턴스 DRL 회로 (A Transconductance Driven-Right-Leg Circuit with Improved Guarding Circuit)

  • An improved guarding circuit is applied to a transconductance driven-right-leg circuit to decrease common-mode current at measurement electrodes due to power-line interference. After showing conventional guarding circuit is instable due to gain-peaking when used with a transconductance DRL circuit, the effect of the proposed guarding circuit modified to suppress the gain-peaking by inserting a series resistor between shields and a shield driver was analyzed. It is shown that, besides stability, the proposed guarding circuit provides two other advantages: 1) The gain of the shield driver can be set to be unit nominally. 2) The loop gain of the transconductance DRL loop can be increased due to pole-zero canceling. The proposed circuit was implemented and the advantages were confirmed.

복합 링크기구를 이용한 다족 보행로봇 (Multi-legged Walking Robot Using Complex Linkage Structure)

  • Generally, multi-legged walking robots have excellent mobility in rough and uneven terrain, and they are deployed for the safety of rescuers in various disaster environments. However, as each leg is driven by a number of actuators, it leads to a complicated structure and high power consumption; therefore, it is difficult to put them into practical use. In this article, a new concept is proposed of a walking robot whose legs are driven by a complex linkage structure to overcome the deficiencies of conventional multi-legged walking robots. A double crank-rocker mechanism is proposed, making it possible for one DC motor to actuate the left and right movements of two neighboring thighs of the multi-legged walking robot. Each leg can also move up and down through an improved cam structure. Finally, each mechanism is connected by spur and bevel gears, so that only two DC motors can drive all legs of the walking robot. The feasibility of the designed complex linkage mechanism was verified using the UG NX program. It was confirmed through actual production that the proposed multi-legged walking robot performs the desired motion.

  • 본 논문에서는 신호조정 회로로서 필수적인 다중 채널 심장 전기도 전치 증폭기를 제작하기 위한 설계조건의 분석 및 전기 회로적 해석을 수행하였다. 설계된 회로는 기존의 64 채널의 공간 분해능을 향상시키기 위하여 128채널로 구성하였으며, 전치증폭기는 입력회로부, 차동증폭부, 오른다리구동회로 및 주증폭기의 노치필터로 구성되도록 설계하였다.

  • The computerized cardiac analysis system, which acquires and analyzes the electrical activation signal propagating along the surface of the heart, is indispensible equipment for the open heart surgery and electrical cardiac study. In this paper, the design requirement and the electrical circuit analysis are performed to construct the multi-channel cardiac activation pre-amplifier necessary for a signal conditioning circuit. The general 64 channel configuration is expanded into 128 channels to enhance the spatial resolution on the mapped surface of the heart. The 128 channels pre-amplifier consists of input circuit, differential amplifier, right leg driven circuit and isolation part. It has distinct features; high voltage protection, leakage current limitation, isolation and the maximization of common mode rejection ratio with respect to the half-cell potential difference due to different electrode materials. The final pre-amplifier circuit is assembled with 8 boards, each of which composing of 16 channels.
