In existing internet, e-mail protocols including POP3 and IMAP4, provide e-mail services fir exchanging messages with texts, hypertext and images as well. For the e-mail services in wireless mobile network, mobile e-mail service providers have to install a mobile exclusive e-mail server or have to convert e-mail to mobile exclusive e-mail with wireless application format in case of POP3 protocol. In the e-mail service of IMAP4 case known as web-mail, it is difficult to view e-mail directly from server without IMAP4 mobile client because e-mail is stored in mail server side with remote file server. In either case, it also has the problems of viewing the e-mail of hypertext and image information at mobile. This paper provides e-mail extraction engine with image and hypertext conversion facilities that can be applied in wireless mobile internet and it is optimized in mobile communication environments such as a small display, small size of memory with web-mail protocol based on IMAP4 as well as POP3 mail protocol.

This study hypothesized and tested multiple influences(based on IRT and SIT) in a study of e-mail attitudes and use. The media included e-mail, fax, letters, and face-to-face meetings. This study focused on e-mail. The outcomes included experiences, skills, attitudes toward e-mail, and e-mail use. Results suggested that attitudes toward e-mail were influenced by experiences, skills, toward e-mail, and e-mail use was influenced by attitudes toward e-mail. The our results were consistent with ones predicted by IRT and SIT.

There are POP3(Post Office Progocol 3) and IMAP4(Internet Message Access Protocol 4) for E-Mail service of wire Internet For mobile e-mail service that use wireless Internet, must use exclusive use mobile e-mail server in the case of POP3 e-mail or flow e-mail conversion and because e-mail is kept in sever side with remote file server in case of IMAP4 mail that is used by Web-Mail, utilization of mobile e-mail service is difficult by mobile client who there is no IMAP4 rules. This thesis embodying e-mail extraction engine for mobile that do to design markup language converter of XML base, and use Web-Mail of recently been generalizing IMAP4 base in mobile, presented mobile e-mail service method to do so that can use Web-Mail that is based on IMAP4 as well as POP3 mail service in mobile environment.

With the increasing proliferation of World Wide Web, electronic mail systems have become very widely used communication tools. Researches on e-mail classification have been very important in that e-mail classification system is a major engine for e-mail response management systems which mine unstructured e-mail messages and automatically categorize them. in this research we develop e-mail classifiers for e-mail Response Management Systems (ERMS) using naive bayesian learning and centroid-based classification. We analyze which method performs better under which conditions, comparing classification accuracies which may depend on the structure, the size of training data set and number of classes, using the different data set of an on-line shopping mall and a credit card company. The developed e-mail classifiers have been successfully implemented in practice. The experimental results show that naive bayesian learning performs better, while centroid-based classification is more robust in terms of classification accuracy.

Most recent E-mail systems, that are serviced in Korea, are supporting Hangul in many fields of E-mail(For example, contents, subject, attachment, etc.). However, these systems do not support Hangul in the address field of E-mail. In 2003, IDNA built the international standard in order to support multi-lingual besides the alphabetic character, a number, and '-'. So, Hangul cab be used in the domain part where is the right of '@' mark among the compositional element of the E-mail address. But, the local-part, where is the left of '@' mark, doesn't still support multi-lingual. So Hangul cannot be used in the local-part. In order to support multi-lingual including Hangul in the local-part, this paper designs and implements the E-mail system according to the EAI standardization research that it is progressed in IETF.

TAn E-Mail system is one of the most important services for enterprise and electronic commerce end users on the Internet. However, security for an E-Mail service is not satisfied yet, an E-Mail system with security service is definitely required especially in electronic commerce system. In this paper, an E-Mail system with confirmation of e-mail delivery is proposed, The certification of delivery of E-Mail message is not provided in conventional E-Mail systems. The proposed E-Mail system is composed of this certification of delivery and basic security services. The certification of delivery can prove sender's E-Mail message is securely sent to legitimate receivers. The system is designed and implemented by Java Cryptography API.

Recently EAI WG of IETF has published standards for multilingual support in the local part of the e-mail address. Between 2009 and 2010, EAI WG published RFC documents, called the EAI standard, extension to the existing mail-related RFC documents, and EAI has been implemented and tested. In the course of reviewing the results, this yielded a proposal to modify the EAI standard. As a result, EAI WG has published modified RFC documents, called the EAI bis standard. SMTPUTF8 mail server described in this paper has been implemented according to the EAI bis standard. In addition, it has the ability to support two different standards to support the multilingual domain part of the e-mail address, IDNA and EAI bis. Futhermore, SMTPUTF8 mail server can encode in punycode the local part of the e-mail address. Finally, interoperability testing shows that SMTPUTF8 mail server is well-implemented according to the EAI bis standard.

Most organization are using E-mail(electronic mail) currently, but we seldom see the organizational success from the E-mail utilization strategically. There are many research which are focusing on the selection and usage of E-mail as a electronic communication media based on Information Richness Theory and Critical Social Theory. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects by using E-mail through providing the model of perceived impacts. This model considers the moderate factors such as top management supports, organizational usage, and organizational pressure based on CST. Also it provides the guideline how to use E-mail strategically.

E-mail service has been a general method for communication as internet is widely used instead of post mails. Many companies have invested in e-mail advertisement as e-mail service is spread. E-mail advertisement has an advantage that it can consider personal characters. A lot of e-mail users have been given e-mails that they did not want to receive because their e-mail addresses were opened out to companies on internet. Therefore, they need junk mail checking systems and several e-mail service providers have supported junk mail filters. However, the junk mail filters can check the junk mail with constraint because they don't check the junk degree of mails by the contents of e-mail. This paper suggests a content-based junk mail checking model using fuzzy relational products. The process of the junk mail checking model using fuzzy relational products is as following: (1) analyzes semantic relation between junk words-base and e-mails, (2) checks the junk degree of the e-mail using the semantic relation, (3) checks the mails with SVJ(Standard Value of Junk) if those are junk mail or non-junk mail. The efficiency of the proposed technique is proved by comparing the junk degree of the e-mail and the number of junk mails that was checked by e-mail users and checked by the proposed junk mail checking model.
