The fishermen around fishing villages have organized the Eo Chon Gae, a co-operative organization based on the Fisheries Co-operative Law. The Eo chon Gae plays a vital role in the fishing village community, and the common economic, administrative and social profits are expected by members. The members of the Eo Chon Gae must work together in a common coastal fishing ground, this fishing ground is jointly owned by the community, and the members have to conduct the Eo chon Gae jointly for their common profit. This system, as mentioned above, is called the Eo Chon Gae, which is generally called a fishing village community, or a fishing administrative community. The purpose of these theses is to consider what kind of character and principles the Eo Chon Gae has. The contents of these theses are divided into six parts: 1. The various concepts of the fishing administrative community 2. The progress of the Eo Chon Gae. 3. The organization of the Eo chon Gae. 4. The purpose of the Eo chon Gae. 5. The work of the Eo Chon Gae. 6. Types of the Eo Chon Gae.

EO GRD(Ground Resolved Distance) resolution of airborne EO/IR(Electro-Optical/Infrared) sensor is a critical factor in test and evaluation for EO sensor performance. We propose the laboratory measurement set-up for EO GRD by constructing optical collimator which includes integrated sphere, blackbody, equivalent 3-bar target and 6 DOF motion simulator. GRD is measured in the photographic imagery of bar targets by 3 different distances for 3 EO/IR sensors and the measured results were analyzed statistically. We found that at least 7 sheets of imagery are needed in order to obtain meaningful EO GRD. The result of statistical analysis shows that the distribution of the measured GRD is nearly symmetric about the average GRD, and the better imagery ratio above the average GRD is about 40~70%. Also from the best GRD analysis, it is estimated that the design goal for EO GRD should be 30% superior to the required GRD.
In 2018, Andrews introduced the partition functions ${\mathfrak{EO}}$(n) and ${\bar{\mathfrak{EO}}}$(n). The first of these denotes the number of partitions of n in which every even part is less than each odd part, and the second counts the number of partitions enumerated by the first in which only the largest even part appears an odd number of times. In 2021, Pore and Fathima introduced a new partition function ${\mathfrak{EO}}_e$(n) which counts the number of partitions of n which are enumerated by ${\bar{\mathfrak{EO}}}$(n) together with the partitions enumerated by ${\bar{\mathfrak{EO}}}$(n) where all parts are odd and the number of parts is even. They also proved some particular congruences for ${\bar{\mathfrak{EO}}}$(n) and ${\mathfrak{EO}}_e$(n). In this paper, we establish infinitely many families of congruences modulo 2, 4, 5 and 8 for ${\bar{\mathfrak{EO}}}$(n) and modulo 4 for ${\mathfrak{EO}}_e$(n). For example, if p ≥ 5 is a prime with Legendre symbol $({\frac{-3}{p}})=-1$, then for all integers n ≥ 0 and α ≥ 0, we have ${\bar{\mathfrak{EO}}}(8{\cdot}p^{2{\alpha}+1}(pn+j)+{\frac{19{\cdot}p^{2{\alpha}+2}-1}{3}}){\equiv}0$ (mod 8); 1 ≤ j ≤ (p - 1).
Purpose: The prevalence of eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) has been on the rise since it was first described in the 1990s. Several diseases and exogenous factors have been associated with EoE. Our aim was to investigate the epidemiology of EoE in cystic fibrosis (CF) patients. Methods: We identified individuals with CF from September 2014 to September 2019 within a database (IBM Explorys Solutions, Inc.). The prevalence of EoE in patients with CF was compared to the general population. Results: The database included 36,111,860 patients during the 5-year study period: 12,950 with CF (0.036%) and 28,090 with EoE (0.078%). EoE prevalence was higher in CF patients than the general population (46 in 10,000 vs. 7.8 in 10,000, p<0.001). Patients with CF and EoE were more likely to be male (50% vs. 33.5%, p<0.008), children (33.3% vs. 16.5%, p<0.001), and non-Hispanic (100% vs. 88.7%, p<0.001) than CF patients without EoE. CF with EoE patients were more likely to be children than EoE only (33.3% vs. 10.5%, p<0.001). Allergic conditions were generally more prevalent in CF with EoE than CF only (83.3% vs. 68.3%, p=0.01) and EoE only (83.3% vs. 69.3%, p=0.014). Conclusion: EoE is nearly 6-times more prevalent in CF patients. Those patients had higher incidence of other atopic conditions. EoE must be considered in the differential diagnosis of patients with CF presenting with dysphagia, refractory gastroesophageal reflux, vomiting, and other esophagus-related symptoms.
This research was conducted to investigate the effect of essential oil (EO) from Artemisia Princeps Pampanini on quality of tomato during storage. EO was extracted by steam distillation and diluted by 1 and 2%. Total phenolic contents and antioxidative activities of EO were analyzed. Tomato was packaged corrugated box covered with polypropylene (PP) film containing EO (1 and 2%) and then stored at room temperature for 10 days. During storage, appearance, weight loss rate, soluble solid contents, pH and a (redness) value were measured for tomato. Total phenolic contents of EO increased in a dose-dependence. The DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities also showed a concentration-dependent increase. The weight loss rate was lowest using the film packaged in 1% EO. During the storage period, soluble solid contents and pH increased in all treatments. The a value increased regardless of EO concentration in films. Especially, tomato packaged with EO film showed a lower a value than non EO-packaged ones. This result suggests that application of EO to film is effective for tomato quality preservation.
Chronic eosinophilic leukemia (CEL) is characterized by eosinophilia and organ damage. Imatinib is widely used for treating CEL, chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Unfortunately, the cancer cells gain resistance against the drug after prolonged molecular-targeted therapies. Imatinib-resistant EoL-1 (EoL-1-IR) cells were produced from chronic eosinophilic leukemia cells (EoL-1) after treatment with imatinib for a long duration. Two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE) analysis revealed numerous protein variations in the EoL-1 and EoL-1-IR sub-types. Compared to the EoL-1 cells, expression levels of TIP49, RBBP7, ${\alpha}$-enolase, adenosine deaminase, C protein, galactokinase, eukaryotic translation initiation factor, $IFN-{\gamma}$, and human protein homologous to DROER were increased, whereas core I protein, proteasome subunit p42, heterogeneous ribonuclear particle protein, chain B, and nucleoside diphosphate were decreased in the EoL-1-IR cells. Taken together, these results contribute to understanding the pathogenic mechanism of drug-resistant diseases.
The quasi-drugs including nonwoven fabric and gauze were sterilized using ethylene oxide (EO) gas. Residual EO in the quasi-drugs was extracted with water (20 mL of water for 1 g of sample) for 24h at 37$^{\circ}C$. Residual EO was determined using GC. The optimal analytical conditions were as follows : column, Carbowax 20M (1.D. 0.2 mm); mobile phase, helium with 30 mL/min; oven temperature 57$^{\circ}C$, injector temperature 18$0^{\circ}C$, detector temperature 20$0^{\circ}C$. The detection limit for EO was 0.10$\mu$g/mL. When the residual EO extracted from nonwoven fabric and gauze was determined, it took more than 9h to get the lower level than 25 ppm which is the limit value of FDA guideline. When the EO residues, ethylene chlorohydrine (ECH) and ethylene glycol (EG) in the 7 commercially available quasi-drugs were determined, no residual EO, ECH, EG were found from the seven commercially available quasi-drugs analyzed by this method.
In the presence of $Ca^{2+}$ ion, the charge transfer (CT) interaction of nonionic surfactants, $nonylphenol-(ethylene oxide)_n\;[NP-(EO)_n; n = 11, 40, 100]$ with iodine in aqueous solution were investigated by UV-visible spectrophotometer. The characteristics of spectra depended on the concentration of $Ca^{2+}$ ion and the number of EO unit. Above CMC, the intensity of the CT band by the addition of $Ca^{2+}$ ion for the $NP-(EO)_{11}$ and $NP-(EO)_{40}$ increased and then decreased, while for the $NP-(EO)_{100}$ continuously increased. The increase in the intensity of CT band were attributed to the compactness of micelle in the presence of $Ca^{2+}$ ion. These phenomena may be explained by the fact that the linear ethylene oxide (EO) chain, to be free configuration in aqueous solution, could form a pseudo-crown ether structures capable of forming complexes with $Ca^{2+}$ ion.
Objectives : Evodia officinalis DODE (EO), an herbal plant, has been widely used in traditional Korean medicine for the treatment of vascular diseases such as hypertension. The crude extract of EO contains phenolic compounds that are effective in protecting liver microsomes, hepatocytes, and erythrocytes against oxidative damage. But EO has been little found to have an anti-inflammatory activity. We investigated anti-inflammatory activity of EO in RAW 264.7 cells and human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). Methods : Cytotoxic activity of EO on RAW 264.7 cells was investigated by using 5-(3-caroboxymeth-oxyphenyl)-2H-tetra-zolium inner salt (MTS) assay. The nitric oxide (NO) production was measured by Griess reagent system. And proinflammatory cytokines were measured by ELISA kit. The levels of intracellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) and vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) expression were measured by flow cytometer. Results : EO decreased LPS-induced NO production in RAW 264.7 cells. The inhibitory activity of EO on LPS-induced NO release is probably associated with suppressing TNF-${\alpha}$, IL-6 and MCP-1 formation. These results indicate that EO has potential as an anti-inflammatory agent. Moreover, EO decreased TNF-${\alpha}$-induced IL-8, IL-6 production, and ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 expression in HUVECs. Conclusions : EO inhibits TNF-${\alpha}$-induced inflammation via decreasing cytokines production and adhesion molecules expression. These results indicate that EO has potential as an anti-inflammation and anti-artherosclerosis agent.
