버스의 재차인원을 고려한 중앙버스전용차로 효과분석 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study of Effectiveness Analysis Method of Exclusive Median Bus Lanes Considering Number of People in Buses)

  • PURPOSES: The purpose of this study is to develop an effectiveness analysis method of exclusive median bus lanes, which is necessary in order to improve operation efficiency of exclusive median bus lanes. METHODS : The operation characteristics of "signalized intersection including exclusive median bus lanes" and "normal signalized intersection" were investigated and the existing capacity analysis method was also reviewed to analyze the effectiveness of exclusive median bus lanes. Delay reduction of passengers using exclusive median bus lanes which can be considered as the benefit of exclusive median bus lanes and the number of people in buses were included in the proposed effectiveness analysis method. RESULTS : It was found that the proposed method expresses properly the effectiveness of exclusive median bus lanes through performing sensitivity analysis and analyzing with the real data of the number of people in buses and passenger cars. It was also found that the proposed method demonstrates the effectiveness that measure of effectiveness of signalized intersections is changed to "sec/person". CONCLUSIONS : It was concluded that the method is a proper effectiveness analysis method because it can reflect the benefit of passengers in buses.

  • Ergonomic techniques have been required to analyze the effectiveness of functional clothing design improvement in a systematic and analytic manner. The goals of the present study are to: (1) comprehensively and analytically examine the effectiveness of clothing improvement by using the relationship analysis between clothing design components (D) and ergonomic evaluation measures (E) and (2) prove the usefulness of cost-effectiveness analysis for clothing design optimization. The cost effectiveness analysis is comprised of the preliminary evaluation based on expertise and the in-depth evaluation where the D-E relationship analysis is applied. As a result of the cost effectiveness analysis applied to flame-proof clothing, an optimal design was identified by analyzing costs and qualitative/quantitative effects. In the preliminary evaluation, the expected effectiveness of each design alternative on wear efficiency and wear comfort was estimated. In the in-depth evaluation, however, the effectiveness of each design alternative was analyzed by quantitative evaluation in a wearing test using a questionnaire prepared based on the D-E relationship analysis. It was concluded that the D-E relationship analysis and the cost-effectiveness analysis are useful for comprehensive evaluation and optimization of functional clothing design.

메타분석을 이용한 임상영양서비스의 비용-효과성 평가 (Evaluation of Cost-Effectiveness of Medical Nutrition Therapy : Meta-Analysis)

  • Objectives: A meta-analysis of the literatures was conducted to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy by dietitians. Methods : The 30 studies were identified from a computerized search of published research on MEDLINE, Science-Direct and the PQD database until May, 2002 and a review of reference lists. The main search terms were“dietitian”,“dietary intervention”,“nutrition intervention”, “cost”,“cost-effectiveness”and“cost-benefit analysis”. The subgroup analysis was performed by publication year, study design, intervention provider, type of patient (in/out-patient) and type of cost (total cost/direct cost). Two reviewers independently selected trials for inclusion, assessed the quality and extracted the data. Results : The 30 studies were identified using the electric database search and bibliographies. The 17 trials were eligible for inclusion criteria, then the systematic review and a meta-analysis were conducted on effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy. The quality of the studies was evaluated using the quality assessment tool for observational studies. The quality score was 0.515 $\pm$ 0.121 (range : 0.279-0.711, median : 0.466). The meta-analysis of 17 studies based on the random effect model showed that medical nutrition therapy was highly effective in treating the diseases (effect size 0.3092 : 95% confidence interval 0.2282-0.3303). The vote-counting method, one of meta-analysis methods, was applied to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy conducted by dietitians. Two criteria (method 1, method 2) for voting were used. The calculated p-values for method 1 (more conservative method) and method 2 (less conservative method) were 0.1250 and 0.0106, respectively. Medical nutrition therapy by dietitians was significantly cost-effective in the method 2. Conclusion. This meta-analysis showed that the effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy was statistically significant in treating disease (effect size 0.3092), and that the cost-effectiveness of medical nutrition therapy was statistically significant in the method 2 (less conservative method) of vote counting. 코칭리더십과 조직유효성과의 상관관계에 관한 메타분석 (A Meta-Analysis of the Correlation Effects between Coaching Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness)

  • Lots of the studies about the relationship between coaching leadership and organizational effectiveness have been conducted and reported that coaching leadership is one of the main factors which impact organizational effectiveness. The purpose of this study was to synthesize the relationship between coaching leadership and organizational effectiveness. For that purpose, 32 correlation effect sizes from 25 studies were analyzed by the CMA (Comprehensive Meta-analysis) Program. The study calculated the overall effect size of the relationship between coaching leadership and organizational effectiveness. Then, it also calculated the effect size of the relationship between coaching leadership and each sub-variable of organizational effectiveness. The analysis results are as follows: First, the overall effect size about the relationship between coaching leadership and organizational effectiveness was .519, which means that coaching leadership has over lager relationship with organizational effectiveness. In addition, the effect sizes of sub-variables of the organization are .556 (organizational commitment) .542 (job satisfaction), 509 (organizational citizen behavior), and .401 (innovative behavior). The study tested the mediating effects of measurements, organizational size, types of publication, and published year. The result showed that only the measurement made significant differences among effect sizes of studies.

참조모델기반 NCO 효과분석모델 개발방법 (A Methodology for the Development of NCO Effectiveness Analysis Model based on the Reference Model)

  • NCO(Network Centric Operation) 효과분석과 관련된 요소 및 이들 간 관계는 PCO(Platform Centric Operation)의 그것과 비교하여 복잡하다. 그러나 기존 효과분석모델은 단위 효과요소관점의 효과분석방법을 제시하여, 복잡한 NCO의 효과분석을 위해서는 엔터프라이즈 관점의 통합된 효과분석과 공통언어로 활용 가능한 효과분석모델 개발이 시급한 상태다. EA(Enterprise Architecture)는 공통언어 가능의 참조모델과 이에 순응하는 적용모델 개념을 도입하여 엔터프라이즈의 변화와 복잡도를 관리한다. 본 연구는 EA의 특성인 참조 및 적용모델 개념을 도입한 '참조모델기반 NCO 효과분석모델 개발방법'을 제시한다. 이를 위해 첫째 참조 및 적용모델 개념을 가진 EA를 연구하며, 둘째, NCO 및 C2 효과분석 절차 몇 모델 분석과 모델 구성요소 식별과 관계설정을 위한 방법을 연구하며, 셋째, 연구된 내용을 바탕으로 참조모델기반 NCO 효과분석모델 개발방법을 제시하고, 마지막으로 제시된 방법에 따라 사례를 개발하여 제시한 방법의 효과성을 입증한다.

  • In the 21st century, the roles of UGV in the ground battle draw its attention and many research about how to use it is going on globally, but not many study is doing about how to measure its combat effectiveness in the battle. Basically, the effectiveness of UGV is different from its mission profile. Hence, we proposed Measures Of Effectiveness which can measure the UGV effectiveness based on five different missions such as mine detection, nbc detection, reconnaissance, rescue, and fire mission. We expect that these Measures Of Effectiveness proposed are able to contribute to increase the credibility of the study results for UGV effectiveness. We also hope that this paper can stimulate to expand the research scope and related field about UGV effectiveness in the future.

임상영양서비스의 효과성 평가 : 체계적 검토와 메타분석을 통하여 (Effectiveness of Nutrition Intervention : Systematic Review & Meta-Analysis)

  • A systematic review and meta-analysis of the literatures was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition intervention by dietitian. The 31 studies that were all randomized controlled trials, were identified from computerized search of published researches on MEDLINE, Embase database until January, 2003 and review of reference lists. The main search terms were the combination “dietitian”, “dietary intervention”, “nutrition intervention” or “nutritional intervention” and “effectiveness”. The subgroup analysis was performed by the publication year, quality score, type of disease, content of intervention, intervention provider, type of intervention (nutritional counseling and education/nutrilion counseling and education + diet modification), method of intervention (individual/group/individual + group) and follow-up period. Two reviewers independently selected trials for inclusion, assessed the quality and extracted the data. The meta-analysis of 31 studies based on the random effect model showed that the medical nutrition therapy was significantly effective in treating the diseases (effect size 0.1715 : 95% confidence interval 0.0938-0.2491). This study showed the clear evidence of the effectiveness of nutrition intervention through the meta-analysis. So the nutrition intervention by dietitian should be recommended and recognized as the effective therapy of treating the diseases. Also the nutrition intervention should be conducted regularly to maintain the effectiveness of the nutrition intervention. The nutrition intervention was significantly effective in treating the diseases on the random effect model (effect size 0.1715 : 95% confidence interval 0.0938-0.2491).

보건소 종사자의 감정노동과 직무소진이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향 (Relationships among Emotional Labor, Burnout, and Organizational Effectiveness of Employees in Public Health Centers)

  • Purpose: This study examines the relationship among emotional labor, job burnout and organizational effectiveness of public healthcare center workers. In specific, authors focus on the relationships between emotional labor and job burnout and the one between job burnout and organizational effectiveness and mediating effect of job burnout between emotional labor and organizational effectiveness. Methods: For the empirical analysis, survey was conducted of workers in the public healthcare center, and 502 final data was secured after eliminating the insufficient ones, which were used in the statistical analysis. Results: Emotive effort showed to have a positive effect on organizational effectiveness, however emotive dissonance showed to have a negative effect on organizational effectiveness. Emotive effort showed to reduce the level of all job burnouts while emotive dissonance showed to increase the level of all job burnouts. All job burnout showed to have negative effects on organizational effectiveness. Job burnout showed to have mediating effect between emotional labor and organizational effectiveness. Conclusion: Emotive efforts of emotional labor has positive impact on organizational effectiveness while emotive dissonance has negative impact on organizational effectiveness overall. Therefore, public healthcare center should try to seek for proper way to reduce job burnout of workers, because job burnout functions as mediating element between emotional labor and organizational effectiveness.

7종 한약재 추출물의 항산화 및 항염증 효과와 이를 이용한 방제 구성에 대한 고찰 (Anti-oxidative and Anti-inflammatory Effect of 7 Herbal Extracts and Methods of Herbal Formula Compositioning)

  • Objectives : Herbal formulas are complicated to analyze and difficult to compose because of its mixed, complex features. So we discussed about how to compose herbal formulas effective and efficient by analyzing various effectiveness of each herbal extracts. Methods : To evaluate the effectiveness of herbal formula, anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory effectiveness were mathematically analyzed. DPPH, superoxide anions, Nitric Oxide scavenging activity was measured to evaluate the effectiveness of 7 herbal extracts. And next, cytotoxic activity of extracts on RAW 264.7 cells were measured using MTS assay. To asses anti-inflammatory effect, nitric oxide and $PGE_2$ production were measured. Based on these anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory experiment result, mathematical analyzation were carried out with constOptm function, and determined efficacy-maximizing ratio. Results : This mathematical analysis based formula showed significantly outstanding effectiveness than other formulae. And estimated tendency of anti-inflammatory effectiveness was matched with real effectiveness. Conclusions : So, mathematical analysis can be available to evaluate and estimate the effectiveness of herbal formulae.
