  • This study made a specimen (contact surface size: $45\;mm{\times}0.02\;mm{\times}45{\sim}55\;mm$) with silicon rubber for low voltage cable with 50 phr silica filler. The electrification voltage of electrostatics were measured for different sizes of contact surface with the applied voltage of 10kV and the environmental settings of temperature ($25{\sim}40^{\circ}C$) and humidity (40~80%). The following conclusions were made. The electrification voltage of electrostatics decreased as the humidity increased. The electrification voltage of electrostatics increased as the temperature increased. The larger the surface size, the higher the electrification voltage of electrostatics. The property of the material had more effect on the relaxation time than the humidity.

  • According to industrial development, all fields using chemical instrument and material are generated an electrostatics. This paper is represented the electrostatics distribution analysis of industrial type Inkjet plotter. In order to such experiment, an electrostatics for each portions of plotter(OJ-62) are measured by electrostatic measurement. Based on these, the big large position of electrostatics was analyzed by finite element method(Maxwell-2D), Here it is showed an electrostatic inducement and electric charge theory required.

  • In this paper, the following results were obtained from the experiment in which electrification voltage of silicone rubber specimen for thermal bonding were measured under various time, temperature ($10{\sim}40^{\circ}C$), and humidity (30~90%) conditions and different amount of carbon additives (0~15 phr (per hundred resin)). Electrostatics electrification voltage decreased when carbon is up to 10 phr, and there was no electrification voltage in 15 phr condition. The electrostatics electrification voltage did not change over time. When the temperature was constant, electrostatics electrification voltage sharply dropped when the humidity was around 70%. That means, this condition might be appropriate for prevention of charging. The electrification voltage decreased as humidity and amount of carbon increased.

  • The study on Electrostatics represents the first scientific interest of human being on electrical phenomena, and it led to enormous progress of electrical and electronic science and engineering up to the current levels. Electrostatics, however, has been long forgotten in the stream of this history as a tribial minor field. Interesting enough, this minor sector has regained recently its new life, in particular in the area of high-technologies, and Electrostatics is going to become one of the most important field in the future of electrical and electronics engineerings. It is impossible to cover the entire trend of this emerging field in a limited space, so that spot lights shall be focused on several important topics in this paper.

  • According to industrial development, all fields using chemical instrument and material are generated an electrostatics. Electrostatic problems were very important part to all these components, moving system, printer, clothe machines etc. This paper was represented an analysis of electrostatic electrification by FEM (finite element method) of industrial type Inkjet plotter. Here electrostatics distribution analysis is accomplished by Maxwell-2D. We are showed an electrostatics generation source by rubbing and meager profits of electric charge. It know electronic values with each system position by experiment. These are decreased through earth and electricity shielding. Therefore this paper is proved by the simulation and experiment result.

  • Non-wovens polyester rayon samples were manufactured, and the electrification properties of electrostatics were measured for three different samples (15 g/$m^2$, 25 g/$m^2$, and 40 g/$m^2$) with the environmental settings of temperature (20~40$^{\circ}C$) and humidity (40~90%). The conclusions are as follows. Heavy sample generated more static electricity when the temperature was constant. The static electricity decreased slowly when the humidity is less than 70%, while it sharply decreased over 70% humidity condition. For non-woven polyester rayon, static charge decreased as temperature and humidity increased. As the weight increased, less time were taken for the electrification voltage to drop to the half.

  • The similarity, analogy and equivalence between the phenomenon due to electric and magnetic dipoles have been discussed in the open literature for different situations. Here we are presenting the numerical proof of the trajectory of leakage electric field due to a semi-infinite electric dipole layer in the external periphery and the electric field in the space between oppositely charged surfaces. The result is also valid for the fringing electric field of a parallel plate capacitor. The result is also proved to be a dual of Amp$\grave{e}$re's law in the electrostatics due to a semi-infinite electric dipole layer.

  • The static electricity generated by friction of two objects is called frictional electricity. The main cause of troubles in electronic components for military and civil use as well as in military radar appliances is found mostly in parts like LSI memories, particularly when they lose information of function momentarily while in operation, which usually leads to a fatal cause of troubles in the equipment. Troubles occur if electric noise is caused by the spark effected from discharge of static electricity from the equipment that is used nearby.
