  • The need for end-to-end security has been increased with the widespread use of mobile devices in wireless internet access applications such as mobile commerce. The WAP1.x has an end-to-end security problem that the message transmitted between the mobile device and the Web server is decrypted inside the gateway within a short time. To overcome this problem, several protocols including WAP2.0 has been proposed. These protocols require that the heavy modules such as TLS or data compression modules should be installed on the mobile device with limited resources. This paper proposes a new WTLSW(WTLS-TLS at Web server) protocol and a new WAP2.0 proxy model in order to ensure end-to-end security between the mobile device and the Web server and to be appropriate for mobile devices with limited resources.

  • Recently, security softwares are the program that is to protect the users from hackers in using electronic financial services. However heackers commit financial crimes to extort asserts using known hacking skills. In our paper, we analyse vulnerability that can be used to hook financial information in user application area and explain end-to-end encryption which is able to be provided by interacting keyboard security program and PKI application program.

  • The WPP payment protocol uses the WAP protocol to enable credit card payment on the wireless internet. Since the security of the WAP protocol is based on the WTLS security protocol, there exists an end-to-end security weakness for the WPP payment protocol. This paper is suggesting a payment protocol, which is making use of the Public-Key Cryptosystem and the Mobile Gateway, so assuring end-to-end security independently of specific protocols. As the on-line certification authority is participating on the authentication process of the payment protocol, the suggested payment protocol enables wireless devices to get services from service providers on other domains.

  • Although the IoT market is steadily growing, there is still a lack of consideration for increasing security threats in the IoT environment. In particular, it is difficult to apply existing IP security technology to resource-constrained devices. Therefore, there is a demand for reliable end-to-end communication security measures to cope with security threats such as information tampering and leakage that may occur during communication between heterogeneous networks do. In this paper, we propose an end-to-end message security protocol based on lightweight cipher that increases security and lowers security overhead in resource-constrained IoT device communication. Through simulation of processing time, we verified that the proposed protocol has better performance than the existing AES-based protocol.

  • The study provides the identification of vulnerabilities in the security issues by Wireless Network. To achieve it the research focus on packet flow analysis, end to end data communication, and the security challenges (Cybercrime, insider threat, attackers, hactivist, malware and Ransomware). To solve this I have used the systematic literature review mechanisms and demonstrative tool namely Wireshark network analyzer. The practical demonstration identifies the packet flow, packet length time, data flow statistics, end- to- end packet flow, reached and lost packets in the network and input/output packet statics graphs. Then, I have developed the proposed model that used to secure the Wireless network solution and prevention vulnerabilities of the network security challenges. And applying the model that used to investigate the security challenges and vulnerabilities of cloud computing services is used to fulfill the network security goals in Wireless network. Finally the research provides the model that investigate the security challenges and vulnerabilities of cloud computing services in wireless networks

  • Today Internet is only Best-Effort service. During the past few years, new types of internet applications which require performance beyond the best-effort service that is provided by the current internet have emerged. These applications required QoS(Quality of Services) guarantee and Security between end-to-end. In this paper simulations Differentiated Services that IETF(Internet Engineering Task Forte) has proposed one of QoS(Quality of Services) guarantee VPN(Virtual private Network) using QoS(Quality of Services) guarantee and IP Security between end-to-end.

  • WiBro has advantages when both WLAN and 3G UMTS are adopted. Much research is being carried out in this area. However, the WiBro specification does not consider end-to-end security. Hence, another security protocol has to be adopted to support secure communication. Most previous research only focused on WiBro MAC performance improvement or security. In this paper, we adopt a security protocol such as IPsec, TLS, and DTLS, well known end-to-end security protocols, to make full use of WiBro in the IP network. Using NS-2 we simulated the adoption of end-to-end security protocol and evaluated performance and usability. Simulation shows DTLS had some performance advantages. All the protocols, TLS and IPsec are also suitable for use in WiBro.

  • Over the years a password has been used as a popular authentication method between a client and a server because of its easy-to-memorize property. But, most password-based authentication services have focused on a same password authentication scheme which provides an authentication and key exchange between a client and a server with the same password. With rapid change of communication environments in the fields such as mobile networks, home networking, etc., the end-to-end security allowing users to hold different password is considered as one of main concerns. In this paper, we consider a new authentication service of how each client with different own password is able to authenticate each other, which is a quite new service paradigm among the existing services. This new service can be used in the current or next generation network environment where a mobile user in cell A wants to establish a secure end-to-end channel with users in ceil B, C, and D using only their memorable passwords. This end-to-end security service minimizes the interferences from the operator controlled by network components. To achieve this end-to-end security, we propose an authentication and key exchange service for group users in different realm, and analyze its security in a formal way. We also discuss a generic construction with the existing authentication schemes.

  • End-to-End(E2E) encryption is to encrypt private and important financial information such as user's secret access numbers and account numbers from user's terminal to financial institutions. There has been found significant security vulnerabilities by various hacking in early E2E encryption system since early E2E encryption is not satisfied the basic security requirement which is that there does not exist user's financial information on plaintext in user's terminal. Extensional E2E encryption which is to improve early E2E encryption provides confidentiality and integrity to protect user's financial information from vulnerabilities such as alteration, forgery and leakage of confidential information. In this paper, we explain the extensional E2E encryption technology and present considerable security issues when the extensional E2E encryption technology is applied to financial systems.

  • Network Address Translation-Protocol Translation(NAT-PT) is an IPv4/IPv6 translation mechanism, as defined in RFC2766, allowing IPv6-only devices to communicate with IPv4-only devices and vice versa. But NAT-PT has the restriction that applies to IPv4 NAT where NAT-PT does not provide end-to-end security, which is a major goal of IPSec. Therefore it cannot support security services such as confidentiality, authentication, and integrity. In this paper, we propose secure NAT-PT(SNAT-PT) and the corresponding secure host architecture to support IPSec security service. And also tunneling scheme using dummy IP header is presented to show the valid operation of end-to-end IPSec protocol on the proposed architectures.
