  • In this paper, we used computerized glow curve deconvolution (CGCD) software with several models for the simulation of a TL glow curve which was used for analysis. By using the general approximation plus model, parameters values of the glow curve were analyzed and compared with the other models parameters (general approximation, mixed order kinetics, general order kinetics). The LiF:Mg,Cu,Si and the LiF:Mg,Cu,P material were used for the glow curve analysis. And we based on figure of merits (FOM) which was the goodness of the fitting that was monitored through the value between analysis model and TLD materials. The ideal value of FOM is 0 which represents a perfect fit. The main glow peak makes the most effect of radiation dose assessment of TLD materials. The main peak of the LiF:Mg,Cu,Si materials has a intensity rate 80.76% of the whole TL glow intensity, and that of LiF:Mg,Cu,P materials has a intensity rate 68.07% of the whole TL glow intensity. The activation energy of LiF:Mg,Cu,Si was analyzed as 2.39 eV by result of the general approximation plus(GAP) model. In the case of mixed order kinetics (MOK), the activation energy was analyzed as 2.29 eV. The activation energy was analyzed as 2.38 eV by the general order kinetics (GOK) model. In the case of LiF:Mg,Cu,P TLD, the activation energy was analyzed as 2.39 eV by result of the GAP model. In the case of MOK, the activation energy was analyzed as 2.55 eV. The activation energy was analyzed as 2.51 eV by the GOK model. The R value means different ratio of retrapping-recombination. The R value of LiF:Mg,Cu,Si TLD main peak analyzed as $1.12\times10^{-6}$ and $\alpha$ value analyzed as $1.0\times10^{-3}$. The R of LiF:Mg,Cu,P TLD analyzed as $7.91\times10^{-4}$, the $\alpha$ value means different ratio of initial thermally trapped electron density-initial trapped electron density (include thermally disconnected trap electrons density). The $\alpha$ value was analyzed as $9.17\times10^{-1}$ which was the difference from LiF:Mg,Cu,Si TLD. The deep trap electron density of LiF:Mg,Cu,Si was higher than the deep trap electron density of LiF:Mg,Cu,P.

  • Three-dimensional thermoluminescence(TL) spectra of LiF: Mg, Cu, Na, Si TL material based on temperature, wavelength and intensity were measured and analyzed. The glow curves were obtained by integration of luminescence intensity for wavelength at each temperature, and various trapping parameters related to the trap formation were determined by analyzing these curves. Computerized glow curve deconvolution(CGCD) method which based on general order kinetics(GOK) model were used for the glow curve analysis. The glow curves of LiF:Mg, Cu, Na, Si TL material were deconvoluted to six isolated glow curves which have peak temperature at 333 K, 374 K, 426 K, 466 K, 483 K and 516 K, respectively. The 466 K main glow peak had an activation energy of 2.06 eV and a kinetic order of 1.05. This TL material was also found to have three recombination centers, 1.80 eV, 2.88 eV and 3.27 eV by TL spectra analysis based on Franck-Condon model. It showed that 2.88 eV is the dominant center, followed by 3.27 eV level, and 1.80 eV center is ascertained as emission center of this material even though its very weak emission intensity.

  • In order to investigate the light curve difference in visual and infrared wavelength of ${\delta}$ Scuti variable Bo Lyn, observations were performed using BOAO 1.8m reflecting telescope and an infrared detector, KASINICS, with J, H, and Ks filters. Infrared light curves of total 7 nights were obtained between March and April in 2011, and those were compared to the V-filter light curve to examine the differences in period, time of maximum light, amplitude, and shape. From the periodic analysis of infrared light curve, a single frequency of $f_1=10.712cycle/day$, $P=0.09335{\pm}0.00002days$ was obtained, and there was no difference in the period along different wavelengths. In the infrared light curve, a frequency of $2f_1$ was detected. This frequency well explains the asymmetric shape of light curve, one of the characteristics of high-amplitude ${\delta}$ Scuti variables. We compared the locations of the measured infrared maxima and the predicted maxima of V-filter, finding that the times of maxima were delayed about 0.3 phase at infrared wavelengths. Amplitude ratios were adopted to be ${\Delta}J/{\Delta}V=0.328$, ${\Delta}H/{\Delta}V=0.216$, and ${\Delta}Ks/{\Delta}V=0.211$, with the range of variation being smaller at longer wavelengths. It seems that the differences in the times of maxima and amplitude occurred because the changes in brightness of a pulsating variable star are mainly caused by the change in temperature.

  • A bench test set-up is employed to simulate the friction characteristics of a paper-based friction material operating against a steel plate. Dry friction tests are run as well as tests with transmission fluids. Glazed friction material produces a negative coefficient of friction versus sliding velocity (f-v) curve for both dry friction and lubrication with transmission fluids. At low sliding speeds, the coefficient of friction when operating in transmission fluids for glazed friction materials is greater than that under dry friction. An appreciable negative f-v slope occurs at low sliding speeds for glazed friction materials when running with the transmission fluid. The friction material after running in produces a constant f-v curve under dry friction and a negative slope when lubricated with transmission fluid. At low sliding speeds, the coefficient of friction of the run-in friction material is lower than that of the glazed wet material. On the other hand, the run-in friction material has a larger friction coefficient than does the glazed friction material at higher sliding speeds.

  • Let G : R$^n$${\times}$R\longrightarrowR$^n$ be defined by a Homotopy solving a system F($\chi$)=0 of nonlinear equations. For the vector v$\^$k/ with G'(u$\sub$k/)v$\^$k/=0, ∥v$\^$k/∥=1 where uk is one point in Zero Curve let u$\sub$0/$\^$k/=v$\^$k/+$\tau$v$\^$k/ be the first prediction for the next point u$\^$k+1/, $\tau$$\in$(0, 1). When u$\sub$0/$\^$k/ approaching too losely to some unwanted point. to follow the Zero Curve may occur the returning or cycling. One lion for it is discussed and tile parametrizied Homotopy algorithm for solving F($\chi$)=0 with it been established. Also some theorems by means of the regular value have been discussed for Zero Curves of G(u)=0 and some theorems for algorithm have been obtained.

  • 1) The two microelectrode method was used to voltage clamp small preparations of rabbit sinoatrial node. The kinetics of hyperpolarization activated inward current, $i_f$ were analysed. 2) The hrperpolarization pulses activated $i_f$ current in the presence of $10^{-7}g/ml$ TTX and 2 mM $Mn^{2+}$. The activation range was in between -45 mV to -75 mV. The current magnitude was increased and time course was faster by strong hyperpolarization pulses. 3) Standard envelope tests indicated that this current is exponentially controlled by single gate. 4) Semilogarithmic plot of $i_f$ activation versus time was found to be linear in the activation range. The decrease in current magnitude and the shifts in activation curve and rate constants curve to the hyperpolarizing direction were obtained with $Ba^{2+}$, indicating that $Ba^{2+}$ shifts the voltage dependence of the gating kinetics, were partially reversed by 24 mM $K^+$.

  • Fading of Chlorantine Fast Red 5B (C.I. Direct Red 81) on cotton fabric exposed to carbon are light was examined. It was observed that the dye had anomaly in CF curve slope, while normal in CFG one. Auther considered that the reason for discrepancy of the one with the other curve slope might be appeared from Weber-Fechner law, and derived following equation $F_v=[logC_0-log(C_0-C_0F_t/100)]{\times}100/(logC_0+b)$ where $F_t$; the proportion of dye faded after t hour exposure. $F_v$; the proportion of dye faded after t hour exposure, when a pattern is judged by visual method $C_0$; initial dye concentration. b; constant. also, the reason for increasing lightfastness with dye concentration was discussed on view of the above equation.

  • The operation properties of DBD plasma reactors were observed by using 20 kV square pulse at the cylindrical and planar type of reactors in the condition of air pressure. The optimum operation frequency $f_0$ which optimizes the efficiency of operation was found as such $f_0\proptoexp(-C)$ when the current-voltage curve and charge-voltage curve were observed. Using these properties the dissipated power was evaluated. The dissipated power at the optimum frequency of operation was varied as the value of capacitance which is dependent on the structure and the dielectric material of the reactor, and had the maximum value at the specific value of capacitance. With these value of capacitance, DBD reactors which has a high level of efficiency can be formed.

  • The objective of this study was to compare the goodness of fit of four lactation curve models: Wood's Gamma model (WD), Wilmink (WL), and Pollott's multiplicative two (POL2) and three parameters (POL3) and to determine the environmental factors affecting the complete lactation curve of F1 dairy sheep under organic management. A total of 5,382 weekly milk yields records from 150 ewes, under organic management were used. Residual mean square (RMS), determination coefficients ($R^2$), and correlation (r) analysis were used as an indicator of goodness of fit for each model. WL model best fitted the lactation curves as indicated by the lower RMS values (0.019), followed by WD (0.023), POL2 (0.025) and POL3 (0.029). The four models provided total milk yield (TMY) estimations that were highly correlated (0.93 to 0.97) with observed TMY (89.9 kg). The four models under estimated peak yield (PY), whereas POL2 and POL3 gave nearer peak time lactation estimations. Ewes lambing in autumn had higher TMY and showed a typical curve shape. Higher TMY were recorded in second and third lambing. Season of lambing, number of lambing and type of lambing had a great influenced over TMY shaping the complete lactation curve of F1 dairy sheep. In general terms WL model showed the best fit to the F1 dairy sheep lactation curve under organic management.
