  • Football (soccer) is one of the most popular sports in the world. A huge number of people watch live football matches by TV or Internet. A football match takes 90 minutes, but viewers may only want to watch a few highlights to save their time. As far as we know, there is no such a product that can be put into use to achieve intelligent highlight extraction from live football matches. In this paper, we propose an intelligent editing system for live football matches. Our system can automatically extract a series of highlights, such as goal, shoot, corner kick, red yellow card and the appearance of star players, from the live stream of a football match. Our system has been integrated into live streaming platforms during the 2018 FIFA World Cup and performed fairly well.

  • 두 대의 펄스 레이저를 사용한 BOTDA(Brillouin optical time-domain analysis)의 이론적 연구가 수행되었다.

  • In this paper, we study the sparse signal recovery that uses information of both support and amplitude of the sparse signal. A convergent iterative algorithm for sparse signal recovery is developed using Majorization-Minimization-based Non-convex Optimization (MM-NcO). Furthermore, it is shown that, typically, the sparse signals that are recovered using the proposed iterative algorithm are not globally optimal and the performance of the iterative algorithm depends on the initial point. Therefore, a modified MM-NcO-based iterative algorithm is developed that uses prior information of both support and amplitude of the sparse signal to enhance recovery performance. Finally, the modified MM-NcO-based iterative algorithm is used to estimate the time-varying sparse wireless channels with temporal correlation. The numerical results show that the new algorithm performs better than related algorithms.

  • This paper introduces prototype design of 765kV Substation control system based on fiber optics LAN and distributed network protocol. Two major important facts, immunity of any surge which frequently occurs in Ultra High Voltage Substation and the most suitable communication protocol for substation control system, are considered on the system design conception. To meet the first fact, use of fiber optics cable and isolation transformer are considered, and to satisfy the second fact, DNP3.0(Distributed Network Protocol) which is IEC870-5 compatible is adopted.

  • CCTV network has been implemented to transmit the image information of platfo gate and transfer section to local headquarters in the KNR(Korean National Railroa But. communication system for transferring image information around accident field has not been established yet. thus, at present implementation of communication equipment is necessary for dyn of unspecified accident to be transmitted to headquarters. Copper cable communication network is run by KNR, but it is processing installatio optics cable in connection with the implemental plan for high-speed network from n And, the capacity of communication channel will be guaranteed much more than een station and station, station and central headquarters when fiber optics cable is This study analyzes the image equipment of field for transmission and estimated m transmit image information of accident field to headquarters with using communicat ucture. • The homogeneous line broadening in EDF leads to unstable lasing and strong mode competition. In this paper a multiwavelength fiber ring laser that overcomes these effects by using variable attenuators between the DWDM and $1{\times}N$ coupler, has been proposed. Fiber ring lasers with four and eight wavelength outputs are implemented, and we show that the output powers can be adjusted with stable operation. The EDF ring laser has one four-wavelength output and four of single wavelengths, with OSNR of 50 and 60 dB respectively.

  • In this paper the effect of instability and chaos in optical fiber networks based on the Internet is described. Nonlinear optical fiber effect especially Brillouin scattering in networks has emerged as the essential means for the construction of active optical devices used for all-optic in-line switching, channel selection, amplification, oscillation in optical communications and a host of other applications. The inherent optical feedback by the back-scattered Stokes wave in optical networks also leads to instabilities in the form of optical chaos. This paradigm of optical chaos in fiber Internet serves as a test for fundamental study of chaos and its suppression and exploitation in practical application in optical fiber communication. This paper attempts to present a survey and some of our research findings on the nature of Brillouin chaotic effect on Internet based optical communication.
