Multilevel Voltage Source Converter HVDC presents a new method for the energy transmission, The multilevel requires the converter bridge includes more than 100 converter modules, for the EMT simulation file, the simulation time increases to several hours; it can depress the research process. In the paper, author describes a method to simulate the multilevel arm based on time-varying equivalent. The result shows the extremely calculation time reduced with almost the same accuracy.

In this study, a pseudo ship structure data model for the :.hip cargo hold structure based on STEP is proposed. The proposed data model is based on Application Reference Model of AP218 Ship Structure which is the model that specifies conceptual structures and constraints used to describe the information requirements of an application. And the proposeddata model refers the Ship Common Model framework for the model architecture which is the basis for ongoing ship AP development within the ISO ship-building group and the ship product definition information model of CSDP research project for analyzing the relationship between ship structure model entities. The proposed data model includes Space, Compartment. Ship Structural System, Structural Part and Structural Feature of cargo hold. To generate this data model schema in EXPRESS format, ‘GX-Converter’was used which enables user to edit a model in EXPRESS format and convert schema file in EXPRESS format. Using this model schema, STEP physical file containing design data for ship cargo hold data structure was generated through SDAI programming. The another STEP physical file was also generated containing geometry data of ship cargo hold which was extracted and calculated by SDAI and external surface/surface intersection program. The geometry information of ship cargo hold can be then transferred to commercial CAD system, for example, Pro/Engineer. Examples of the modification of the design information are also Presented.

In recent years, medical procedures have become more complex, while financial pressures for shortened hospital stays and increased efficiency in patient care have increased. As a result, several shortcomings of present film-based systems for managing medical images have become apparent. Maintaining film space is labor intensive and consumes valuable space. Because only single copies of radiological examinations exist, they are prone to being lost or misplaced, thereby consuming additional valuable time and expense. In this paper, MINI-PACS for image archiving, transmission, and viewing offers a solution to these problems. Proposed MINI-PACS consists of mainly four parts such as Web Module, Client-Server Module, Internal Module, Acquisition Module. In addition, MINI-PACS system includes DICOM Converter that Non-DICOM file format converts standard file format. In Client-Server Module case, Proposed system is combined both SCU(Service Class User: Client) part and SCP(Service Class Provider: Server)part therefore this system provides the high resolution image processing techniques based on windows platform. Because general PACS system is too expensive for Medium and Small hospitals to install and operate the full-PACS. Also, we constructed Web Module for database connection through the WWW.

This paper provides an investigation of torque converter system using ERF (Electro-Rheological Fluid). The torque converter system using ERP is a new concepting device because we can change an apparent viscosity of ERF by adapting an electric field. The device was designed by using the equations which were proposed by Carlson et al. The devices based on ERF generally assume one two possible forms. One is the parallel plate type in which the device elements are facing circular disks separated by a flat layer of ERF, The other is coaxial cylinder or Couette types in which the ERF file the annular apace between a pair of coaxial cylindrical electrode. The discussion on this study is specifically for coaxial cylinder gemetry and experiment results show that the measured torque was rapidly increased with the increase of the eletric field.

본 논문에는 DICOM Converter를 구현하여 새로운 장비를 구입하지 않고, 기존의 장비를 이용해 DICOM 표준안 영상으로 변환할 수 있게 하였다. 그리고 클라이언트/서버 모듈 부분에서 한 시스템 내에서 SCU 와 SCP를 동시에 수행할 수 있어 중소 병원에 적합한 단계적인 PACS 시스템을 구축할 수 있다. 또한 Web 상에서의 환자정보, 영상정보, 검사정보, 그리고 장비정보와 같은 DB 연동을 할 수 있어 점진적으로 확장 및 통합이 가능한 소형의 부분적인 시스템을 구현하였다 결과적으로, 본 시스템은 안정된 개방형 시스템을 기반으로 하였기에 가격을 낮추었을 뿐 아니라 투자에 대한 실패를 크게 감소시키었다.

국가 지리 정보 시스템에 의해 국가 기본 지형도가 DXF 포맷으로 제작되어 있고, CAD로 작성된 정보들이 풍부하며 스캐너를 이용하여 쉽게 데이터를 획득 가능함으로 기존의 DXF 파일의 수입은 비용과 시간을 절약한다. 또한, 지형도와 같은 공간 데이터를 GIS를 위한 중간 파일인 PostScript와 같은 포맷으로 변환하여 다른 시스템으로 수출이 가능하도록 하여야 한다. 이를 위해, 본 논문에서는 DXF 포맷으로 작성된 파일을 MVF로 수입하고, 다시 PostScript로 수출하기 위하여 공간 객체 변환기를 구성하는 3개의 단위 모듈인 파일 처리 모듈, MVF 수입 모듈, 그리고 MVF 수출 모듈들을 설계 및 구현하였다. 그리고 DXF 파일로 되어 있는 지형도에 대해서 실제 변환을 검증해 보았다.

병원 내의 정보시스템의 도입은 업무운영 효율의 혁신적인 향상을 가져 올 수 있으며 운영 경비의 절감과 환자에 대한 양질의 서비스를 제공한다. X-ray필름을 포함한 의료 영상 정보를 효율적으로 관리하는 PACS는 현대화된 병원 정보 시스템에 있어서 필수적인 구성요소로 등장하고 있다. PACS 시스템은 각종 장비에서 서로 다른 형태의 영상 정보를 표준 의료 영상 파일 형식으로 표준화시켜 네트워크로 연결시켜 주어야한다. 본 논문에서는 이를 해결하기 위해서 DICOM 컨버터를 설계하여 Non-DICOM 파일 형식을 표준화된 파일 형식으로 변환시켜 주는 Mini-PACS를 설계하였다. 이 시스템은 웹 기반에서 운영되고 있으며, 클라이언트 모듈과 서버모듈인 두개의 서버로 운영되고 있는 기존의 시스템과 달리 두개의 서버 기능을 하나로 통합하여 시스템 상호간의 강력한 결합을 이룰 수 있도록 설계 및 구현하였다.

본 연구에서는 토목분야의 다양한 상용 BIM 모델링 설계 소프트웨어의 사용자들에게 상호 호환성과 상호 운용성을 보장하기 위해 BIM 국제 표준 파일 포맷인 IFC 파일로의 파일 변환 프로세스를 새롭게 설계하여 제시한다. 제안된 프로세스는 상용 BIM 모델링 소프트웨어를 위한 add-in 방식의 컨버터(Converter)를 사용하여, 변환되는 IFC 파일의 3차원 객체 형상 정보에 수량 산출식 코드 속성과 토목 분야 CBS/OBS/WBS 표준분류체계 속성으로 구성되는 추가적인 속성들을 삽입한다. 또한, 개방형(Open) 웹 기반 수량, 공정(4D) 및 공사비(5D) 관리를 위한 IFC 파일의 통합 활용 프로세스를 추가로 설계하고 구축한다. 이러한 작업을 통해 토목 분야의 BIM 모델링 설계 단계에서 최종적인 시공 단계에 이르는 개방형 웹 기반 수량, 공정(4D) 및 공사비(5D)의 연계적 활용에 대한 새로운 프로세스를 제시하는 것이 본 연구의 궁극적인 목적이다.

우리는 웹 브라우저 사용자의 편의성 향상을 목표로 4가지 편의 기능이 통합된 브라우저인 SERA Web-Viewer를 개발하였다. 편의 기능으로는 VPV(Visited Page Viewer), APV(Aligned Page Viewer), USC(User Specified Capture)등이 추가되었으며 UCC(User Created Content)의 핵심 기술인 FLV(FLash Video file) 변환을 위한 VAC(Video and Audio Converter)를 부가기능으로 통합하였다. 편의 기능들은 사용자들이 웹 브라우저를 사용하며 가장 필요로 하는 기능들로 웹브라우저의 사용 빈도가 잦고 사용 시간이 긴 고급 사용자들을 대상으로 조사된 바에 따랐다. 위의 네 가지 통합 기능에 대한 구현 상의 알고리즘과 기술을 제안하였고, 인터넷 익스플로러 6.0의 렌더링(rendering) 기술을 이용한 MDI application 기반의 구현 방법을 코드를 통해 설명한다. 구현된 결과를 134명의 컴퓨터학 또는 멀티미디어 공학을 전공하는 학생들을 대상으로 실시한 설문조사의 결과와 비교하여 통합된 편의 기능들이 웹 브라우저 사용자들에게 실질적으로 도움을 줄 수 있다는 것을 보인다.

As the seriousness of environmental pollution being on a rise, a low carbon and environment-friendly design for energy efficiency has been issued. With respect to energy in the construction industry, an adoption of BIM which is possible for the various energy performance assessments in the early design phase has been actively working on. In the most cases of energy performance assessment, the data compatibility from the lack of standard software and format became a problem and the improvement for data compatibility system has been needed. This study is to develop the IFC based IDF converter as a middleware which connects between BIM software and energy analysis software. For the building energy performance assessment, Energy Plus and IFC are selected for the standard energy analysis software and its file format. Parameters are organized by steps and the integrated material library is built so it is trying to reduce the existing problem of energy software interface as much as possible. The development of IDF Converter will promote the spread of related fields with increasing the BIM standard and the utilization of energy performance assessment.
