Development of Road traffic Air Diffusion Simulation System using Graphic User Interface (GUI) (그래픽 유저 인터페이스(GUI)를 이용한 도로의 대기확산 예측시스템 개발)

  • The assessment of environmental impact on NO$_2$ (or TSP) emitted by vehicles is important for local residents from the point of view of their health and environmental protection. In the course of field investigations, correct concentrations are measured and meteorological data are observed for numerical simulation. To determine background concentration for numerical simulation, annual average concentrations of NO$_2$ (or TSP) are estimated using the Puff-Plume model. If the estimated result affects the environment, it must be considered in the environmental conservation activity. To make the process of a estimation of environmental assessment more easily, this system is developed. Moreover, this system was supplied a Graphic User Interface (GH) for the user who calculated the concentration of air pollution exhausted from the traffic on general roads except special roads such as interchanges and entrances to tunnels. This system can offer not only the numerical result but also a graphic display. Even a beginner who is not a professional programmer can calculate the result easily.

  • This paper deals with the ways that can improve the reliability of the course evaluation system based on reformation of the system and design of user interface for the practical applications. In the reformation of the system aspect, there are the improvements of the course evaluation questionnaires and the feedback of course evaluation to the lecturers. In the design aspect, a computer screen of the graphic user interface is redesigned to reflect the reformation of the system aspect issues. The results show the effectiveness in the reliability improvement.

  • 국내 휴대 단말기기(Mobile Phone, PDA 및 DMB 폰 등)의 하드웨어적 컨버젼스 기술은 국제 경쟁력을 충분히 확보하고 세계 시장에서 선두 역할을 수행하고 있으나, 휴대 단말기기에 필수적으로 구성되어지는 UI(User Interface)는 상대적으로 낙후된 실정이다. 이에 따라 3차원 그래픽 UI의 구현과 휴대 단말기기의 이벤트에 반응하는 3차원 아바타 시스템 개발을 통해 경쟁력 있는 소프트웨어적 컨버젼스 시대의 대비는 필수적이며, 본 논문에서는 휴대 단말기에서 3차원 UI의 구현 뿐 아니라 쉽고 빠르게 UI를 구축 할 수 있는 Authoring Tool 개발의 시급성을 인식하여 연구를 진행하고 있다.

  • This research investigates a kill probability model for the performance evaluation of guided missile system, and also develops the user interface implementation for the output of the model based on the visual object-oriented programming application. This paper describes in detail the methodology for the kill probability attained by a missile warhead detonating near an airborne target. The major simulation events used in this research are missile guidance homing point, burst points, and kill mechanism(direct kill, blast kill and fragment kill). For the user interface, we also design and implement the visualization system that can show the graphic style of the kill probability attained by the model. This research will bridge the gap between the sophisticated kill probability model and users who want to see the results interactively with visualization, which can benefit many of other military systems. Some examples are shown, but these will be improved to be better with visual simulation which can visualize all the simulation process of the model.

  • As computers have became popular and multimedia and internet are frequently used, the volume and exchange of information have explosively increased. Therefore, more organized information system is needed for a more efficient use of information. For this reason, the importance of information design and interface design is highly recognized. This thesis is to present the user-oriented interface design prototype based on the environmental analysis of the user and information design. For this purpose, the theoretical study of information design and the principle and elements of GUI (Graphic User Interface) design is preceded. Information design is to subdivide and organize information according to its characteristic, and to systemize information structure considering the interrelationship of information. GUI design, that is interface design based on graphics, should be made in consideration of GUI elements and principle for the user's easy access of information. As it is said, much information needs to be structurized systematically and also visualized as the interface design esthetically as well as functionally. In conclusion, this study presents the effectual user-oriented interface design prototype by researching many theories of information design and GUI design and applying such theories to GUI design.

  • In this paper, we propose the function verification method of the OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode) drive IC using PLI verification method. This method uses the HDL(Hardware Description Language) simulator, PLI(Programing Language Interface), and GUI (Graphic User Interface) image viewer. This method improves the execute efficiency 40 times than conventional function verification methods. The proposed method can be used efficiently for function verification of DDI(display driver IC) design step.

  • Recently, the RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solution, which has been spreading in Korea and overseas, allows users to easily automate their tasks with the application GUI (Graphic User Interface), and the number of Korean financial companies which Implemented for automating their business is increasing now. However, as the major supervisory regulations that financial institutions must comply with are based on the existing traditional SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), it is not proper to be directly applied to RPA that automates end-user works on the level of user's system interface. Therefore, in this paper, we organized the important financial supervisory rules and control items that should be considered for RPA implementation, then surveyed 24 financial companies which have implemented RPA for checking how they applied them. Finally, we would like to present the necessity of revision of related compliance.

  • 빠른 인터넷의 보급과 빈번하게 발생하는 원격지 구성원간의 협업으로 인해서 쉽고 편리하게 이용 가능한 다자간 협업 환경의 필요성이 대두되었으며 현재 이와 관련한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 커뮤니티 컴퓨팅 환경에서의 원격 협업을 지원하기 위한 구성 기술로는 먼저 지능형 원격협업을 지원할 수 있는 시스템 및 네트워킹 구조를 설계하는 기술, 다양한 종류의 입력 채널의 내용을 동시에 보여줄 수 있는 디스플레이를 제공하는 기술, 협업 구성원 간의 자연스러운 데이터 및 태스크 마이그레이션 기반 기술, 그리고 다양한 사용자 인터랙션을 제공하는 기술 등이 있다. 그러나 무엇보다도 사용자 편의성 면에서는 위치적인 이질감을 극복하고 현장감 있는 공동 작업을 지원할 수 있는 사용자 인터랙션 기술이 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 인터랙션을 지원하기 위한 다양한 인터랙션 기술을 소개하며 사용자의 인터랙션이 발생했을 경우 사용자의 의도에 따라 변경된 협업 환경, 특히 공통 디스플레이 화면의 변경 정보를 사용자 컨트롤 머신에도 Graphic User Interface(GUI) 기술을 통해 제공하는 방안이 논의되어 진다.

These methods are WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) based services and Java based service WAP based service has been proposed to support limited convenience for user But Java based service can support many convenience and GUI(Graphic User Interface) and easy to use to access for user. This paper will be propose a WAP based application development method and Java based application development method. As an illustrative experiment, WAP based service and Java based service are used to show performance for each systems.

  • To control IWR-III Biped Waking Robot, those complex modules are necessary that concurrent control multi-axes servo motors, PID & Feedforward gain tuning, initial value calibration, display current status of system, user interface for emergency safety and three-dimensional rendering graphic visualization. It is developed for various-type gait $data^{[1]}$ and for control modes (i.e open/closed loop and pulse/velocity/torque control) that Integrated Control Enviroment with GUI( Graphic User Interface) consist of time-buffered control part using MMC (Multi-Motion Controller) and 3D simulation part using DirectX graphic library.
