This study is basically about four-guardian-statutes-building-gate in 17th Century. In the field of art-history, there are four-guardian-statutes made of clay in order that the statutes are so gigantic and grotesque enough to threaten all the devils. This purpose of this study is to make sure that the similar variation occurred at the four-guardian-statutes-building-gate in 17th century. The results of this study are as follows. First, only Da-Po style four-guardian-statutes-building-gates were built in famous four temples separately from 1612 until the Manchu war of 1636. And there are gigantic four-guardian-statutes made of clay in the building. Second, there are Chul-mok Ik-gong style buildings were built in 1660s at Bo-Rim-Sa and Neung-Ga-Sa. The buildings including four-guardian-statutes-building-gate of Song-gwang-sa built in 1636 probably are all similar to earlier Da-Po style four-guardian-statutes-building-gates in the viewpoint of structural type and size of building. Third, it began to build Ik-gong style four-guardian-statutes-building-gates in 1676 at Su-ta-sa.

In this study, the effect of communication with a guardian of a recipient of a Long-term Care Program on job satisfaction of care helpers of in-home care facilities for the elderly is analyzed. First, most of the care helpers are content with their job despite low pay and short work-hour. Especially, they are aware of the need of communication with a guardian but skeptical about the need of having intimacy with a guardian, so the relation between a care helper and a guardian is usually formal only. Second, in terms of characteristics of a guardian, care helpers have higher job satisfaction when a guardian is a male and old, and does not have an unreasonable demand. Third, they have higher job satisfaction when they have better communicate with a guardian rather than higher intimacy. Considering this result, we should make programs such as education for a guardian to develop intimacy with a care helper and one for a care helper to develop intimacy and communicate effectively with a guardian. It is also needed to have guidelines which set up relationship between a helper and a guardian.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to develop an educational program for the children's guardian with cochlear implants in order to provide knowledge and information about cochlear implants. Methods: The educational program was developed based on a literature review, potentially relevant website analysis, and validation by an expert group. Two out of twenty-two educational items under four domains that had item-level content validity index (CVI) greater than 0.8 by the ten experts were finally selected and used. After the children's guardian participated in this educational activity through a specially designed booklet and DVD, the effectiveness of the program was evaluated. Results: A total of 8 children's guardian participated in the program. Their knowledge levels significantly increased after participating the program (mean $15.0{\pm}3.02$ vs. $19.0{\pm}0.93$, Z= 2.371, p=.018). Satisfaction levels with the program was high, $4.1{\pm}0.87$ out of 5. Conclusion: This newly developed educational program for the children's guardian with cochlear implants is proved to be effective and can be used in nursing practice. In addition, the participants seemed to be satisfied with the program. Furthermore, this program may also improve the effects of adult with cochlear implants.

In this paper, an improved binary-CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) system for high speed multimedia data transmission will be presented. The improved binary CDMA technology will be used in municipal wireless network. The new name of the system is the Guardian system using a binary CDMA technology. The Guardian system can provide high data rate, and improve its throughput by minimizing latency from the limitation of resources of system bus during multimedia data transmission. Finally, we analyze the performance of Guardian modem according to the report of wireless data transmission test.

LBS(Location Based System) usually uses GPS technology to measure the exact position of the moving object. However, the method of managing location which utilizes the WiFi technology of mobile phone has not been introduced so far. The method of managing moving objects in view of the location of guardian has also not been proposed. In this paper, a new location management system of moving objects which take guardian's location into consideration is proposed. Specifically, the three methods of searching for missing child proposed in this paper are as follows : 1) a method based on an app for smart phone, 2) a method based on control server, 3) a method based on control server and fixed APs. Because the proposed system reflects the location of the guardian, the guardian is able to identify the state of child immediately and the workload can be reduced.

This study was investigated quantitative and objective making techniques for molding clay of Four-guardian statues in Songgwangsa temple. Also, basic data about the provenance of molding clay was acquired for the restoration using same materials when the conservation treatment is carried out. As a result, molding clay used the Four-guardian statues was identified the very similar soil regardless of layers and objects. But molding clay differed in particle sizes and contents of organic matters according to the first layer to finish layer in relatively thick parts. Also, it was used one kind of soil without the layer distinction in thin parts. The restoration soil was applied to genetically similar soil as molding clay of the Four-guardian statues, and showed a difference of careful selection degree according to the layers. As a result of the provenance interpretation, the soil distributing presumed provenance was confirmed the same origin as molding clay. Therefore, the soil is appropriate for the materials of conservation treatment. This result will contribute inorganic material research and conservation treatment for the clay molded Four-guardian statues in Korea.

The Stone Guardian and Memorial Tablets from the Muryeong Royal Tomb are composed of the same kind of plutonic igneous rocks, the so-called hornblendite. Color of the rocks show greenish gray, and both of them occurred with medium-grained granular texture. The rock-forming minerals composed mainly of amphibole and plagioclase. Magnetic susceptibility of the Stone Guardian is 0.15 to 0.63 (mean $0.42{\times}10^{-3}SI\;unit$), the King's Stone Memorial Tablet is 0.11 to 0.38 (mean $0.24{\times}10^{-3}SI\;unit$) and the Queen's Stone Memorial Tablet ranges from 0.10 to 0.33 (mean $0.18{\times}10^{-3}SI\;unit$). The rocks of the artifacts are hard to find in the Gongju area. Large scaled out crop of hornblendite is not distributed, but found in many places that the form of dike. The lithology and occurrences indicate that the artifacts are made of plutonic rock rather than dike. Reddish brown and pale brown contaminants, are also distributed on the surface of the Stone Guardian and Memorial Tablets. The reddish brown color is due to Fe oxide, and the pale brown color occurs due to the elution of Ca. The reddish brown contaminants are influenced by the internal components of the rock and oxidation of burial iron accessories. In contrast, the pale brown contaminants are considered to have flown from the carbonate materials used in the Royal Tomb, with a little added Fe oxide. Physical and chemical deterioration operate intricately in the Stone Guardian and Memorial Tablets. Physical deterioration is extremely rare and chemical deterioration is stable except for a part of the Stone Guardian and the front of the Queen Stone Memorial Tablet.

This research intends to analyze the implications of current adult guidance system from an angle of people with developmental disabilities in an sudden changed information age. Through it, this research intends to seek improvement of adult guardian system for people with developmental disabilities, a main group of the system, from an angle different from the aged. It focuses on significance and improvement for the significance of adult guardian system for people with developmental disabilities, which are weak for self-decision. Furthermore, for the improvements, this system should be able to be information exchange and communities through the using internet in the cyber space.

The purpose of this study is to investigate by questionnaire method the guardian's mental attitudes and self-esteem toward their children with muscular dystrophy according to the sex, the age, the academic background, the family budget monthly income, the children's grade, the body ability, the muscular dystrophy recognition lapse, and religion. The guardian's mental attitudes toward their children with muscular dystrophy regarding the consultation hope, the basic recognition, the child custody, the personnel relationship and the childcare, the view of the future are very closely connected with each category and they are various from the whole categories.
