The questionnaires were distributed to a total of 252 students from April 26 to 30, 2018. The mean knowledge score of hepatitis B was 11.60 out of 20.0. The mean scores for their attitude and health belief on hepatitis B were 3.51 and 3.10 out of 4.0, respectively. Only 38.9% of the subjects were vaccinated and 53.6% of them were not educated. The factors affecting the vaccination were clinical training experience and prevention education. It is essential to provide healthcare education on knowledge, attitude, and health belief related to hepatitis B and to develop a convergent education program because the students may be manpower for healthcare institutions in the future.

The participants were 623 university students in D city and K province. This study employed a descriptive and correlational cross-sectional survey and made use of the ubiquitous healthcare management services measurement scale. 48.5% of respondents had accessed healthcare-related information on the Internet. Among the independent variables of general characteristics related to perceived susceptibility was found to have adj $R^2$ of 11% while the other dependent factors reported much lower between 0.5 to 4.7%. Female respondents, medical-related majors, self-efficacy, and intention to use had significant positive effects while health beliefs and concern had a significant negative effect on the intentional acceptance of healthcare information technology systems.

  • By studying the awareness level of students, for the need to protect personal information, and also by studying students' level of perception as to which information needs protection, this study aims to show that increased education is beneficial, and necessary, across all university majors. This increased education is necessary to improve information security, and increase the responsible sharing of private data which has many benefits, specifically in the Healthcare field. Utilizing student volunteers across multiple majors at a university in South Korea. These questionnaires measured the students' awareness of private information, their perception of private information and also the students' experience in receiving university level education regarding private information and the need for its protection. This study shows that, when compared to students in other fields, students in the field of public health had a higher level of awareness regarding the consequences of personal information disclosure for both public purposes and medical research. Within the parameters of this study, this outcome can be explained as the result of exposure to educational curriculum which contained information related to personal information protection. This increased education raised the student's awareness of which information is considered private, as well as, which information is valuable when responsibly shared. As a result, this study shows that an increase in education regarding information privacy, should be included in all university majors, and gives us evidence to support that this additional education is valuable to students at all levels and should be encouraged.

  • The study conducted an employment capability reinforcement program targeting health-related college students, and then carried out positive analysis to find out how satisfaction affects adjustment to college life and academic achievement. An employment capability reinforcement program was conducted which targeted health related majors at a university located in Cheongbuk, and information on satisfaction, adjustment to college life, and academic achievement was collected through a self-administered questionnaire. The analysis results revealed that the higher the satisfaction for the employment capability reinforcement program, the better the adjustment to college life, while increased adjustment to college life affected academic achievement. Although the employment capability reinforcement program had no direct relationship of influence to academic achievement, the study shows that it does lead to increased academic achievement by way of adjustment to college life, which ends up as a positive affect for future employment. Therefore, active efforts are necessary to revitalize employment related programs that suit the characteristics of each department in order to establish an environment for revitalizing employment and increasing adjustment to college life.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the satisfaction of college students majoring in healthcare-related fields with their major and with their clinical practice on their career decision-making level and to investigate the mediating effect of their satisfaction with clinical practice on the relationship between their satisfaction with their major and their career decision-making level. The subjects were 180 college students who had completed clinical practice as part of their healthcare-related majors at C University in A-gun, B-do Province. Their completed questionnaires were collected between March 2 and March 5, 2020; 165 questionnaires were used for the data analysis. Questionnaires with missing or insincere responses were excluded. According to the results of this study, the students showed a mean of 3.99 points in their satisfaction with their major, 3.33 points in their career decision-making level, and 3.71 points in their satisfaction with clinical practice. Statistically significant positive correlations were found between the students' satisfaction with their major, their career decision-making level, and their satisfaction with clinical practice. In addition, their satisfaction with clinical practice produced a partial mediating effect on the relationship between their satisfaction with their major and their career decision-making level, and those with a higher level of satisfaction with their major and with their clinical practice also presented higher career decision-making levels. Therefore, the present study suggests that healthcare-related students' satisfaction with their major and with clinical practice should be enhanced to increase their career decision-making levels.

Results: Satisfaction level of clinical practice was significantly higher in the group more satisfied with their majors, with more healthy subjective health status, more satisfied with their interpersonal relationships, with a higher self-efficacy, with a lower fatigue, and with better communication skill. Clinical practice satisfaction had a significantly positive correlation with self-efficacy and communication skill and a significantly negative correlation with fatigue. Factors affecting clinical practice satisfaction in the subjects were communication skill, self-efficacy and fatigue. The total variance explained by all three variables was 20%. Conclusion: Further studies and development of education programs including a broad range of strategies for clinical training are warranted by reflecting those related variables to improve clinical practice satisfaction in dental hygiene students.

  • The aim of this study was to describe the self-esteem, appearance satisfaction, and job-seeking stress and to investigate the effects of self-esteem and appearance satisfaction on job-seeking stress in nursing and healthcare related students. A total of 515 third and fourth year graduate students were included in this study. The data were collected between May 2 and May 13 of 2016 and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, and multiple regression with SPSS 19.0. The economic state had an influence on self-esteem, appearance satisfaction, and job-seeking stress; however, the motive of application and decision of the department of selection did not have any influence. A positive correlation was found between self-esteem and appearance satisfaction. Moreover, job-seeking stress was negatively correlated with both self-esteem and appearance satisfaction. The strongest predictor of job-seeking stress was self-esteem. Self-esteem, employment-area, satisfaction with major, and college majors accounted for 24.4% of job-seeking stress based on multiple regression analysis. These findings indicate that it is necessary to develop a program that would increase self-esteem and satisfaction with major and decrease job-seeking stress according to college majors and employment-area in nursing and health care related students.

  • The purpose of this study was to perform an actual proof analysis on the structural effects of recognition of radiation risks on management and benefits. Data was collected using self-administered questionnaires targeting students having majors related to radiation from 1 April to 31 May in 2013 of one four-year-course university located in Chungbuk, Korea. As a result of the analysis, it turned out that as recognition of radiation risks is higher, recognition of radiation management is higher, which has a significant effect on benefits. It was indicated that although recognition of radiation risks does not directly influence radiation benefits, positive recognition on radiation benefits could increase through the parameter, radiation management. In order to improve smooth use of radiation and increase benefits, education that emphasizes the need of proper radiation management should be performed.
