  • Today we live in the Hyper-Connected Society. The Hyper-Connected Society is the network society connected with hyper-connectivity. We know that this technical substructure of hyper-connectivity is the 4th industrial revolution. In this paper, I want to find the origin of the Hyper-Connected Society by clarifying the pattern of the staged development of industrial revolution. The variation pattern of technical revolution including industrial revolution can be summarized very simply as follows; (1) technical revolution ${\rightarrow}$ network revolution, (2) network revolution화 ${\rightarrow}$ the variation of social network, material revolution${\rightarrow}$spiritual revolution. The pattern of the staged development of industrial revolution is as follows. Therefore, in the aspects of network revolution, the origin of the Hyper-Connected Society is the railroad revolution in USA after 1840.

  • The 'Hyper-connected society' in which all objects such as people, device, place are connected via networks and share information being realized. As the information and communication environment changes, spatial information also faces a significant challenge. Korean government is striving to meet the social demand for spatial information that will bring 'Hyper-connectivity' such as autonomous vehicles, drones. Until now, however, it has only partially responded to urgent demand and has not prepared a fundamental countermeasure. In order to effectively and actively respond to the demand for spatial information that is needed in the Hyper-connected society, a strategy that can lead to mid- to long-term fundamental changes is needed. The purpose of this study is to analyze the future demand and application characteristics of spatial information confronted with a big paradigm shift called 'Hyper-connected society', and to search spatial information strategy that can cope with the demand of spatial information in future society.

  • In the past, the Internet connected people together; recently, however it has been extended to the Internet of Things (IoT), allowing all things in the physical world to be connected. We call a new society in which everything is connected through IoT a 'hyper-connected society'. IoT for a hyper-connected society is more than just connecting things to the Internet, it is an infrastructure providing intelligent services without human intervention by connecting things to the Internet using sensors and communication functions, collecting data from connected things, and analyzing and predicting information. Therefore, IoT is a convergence technology that includes not only sensors and communication networks but also big data and AI. This paper examines the short history of IoT, reviews its current trends, and finally, discusses its future direction.

  • Recently, interactive media which maximizes audience engagement by making the audience appeal on a stage in digital media environment has been distributed more widely. In fact, there has been active movement to develop and promote a new participatory media genre with higher immersion by applying this kind of interactive media concept to advertisement, film, game and e-learning. In the conventional interactive media, digital media had to be enjoyed in particular environment where diverse sensors were installed or through a certain device to recognize a user's motion and voice. This study attempted to design and implement an image creation system which ensures interactions between a user and media in popular distribution-enabled web environment and through PC and smart devices to minimize the image producer-user constraints.

  • This study aims to examine trends so far and proactively seek future policy directions because the degree of implementation of hyper-connected society and smart technology at home and abroad cannot be overlooked at present in Korea. The method of the study focused on differentiating it from this study through literature research and comparison of major previous studies. As a result of the study, data security and maintenance, enhanced privacy of users and users, and related policy directions for entering a super-aged society were identified in the era of the 4th industrial revolution in Korea according to hyper-connected society and smart technology. Research limitations were difficulties in obtaining data and technical limitations in statistical quantification through trend analysis, although research analysis should be approached through quantitative and quantitative methods. It needs to be supplemented in future studies.

  • With the rapid advancement of information and communication technology and industrial technologies, a hyper-connected society is being realized to connect human beings, all programs and things via the Internet. IoT (Internet of Thing), which connects a thing and another thing, and things and human beings, gathers information to realize the hyper-connected society. MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) is a push-technology-based light message transmission protocol that was developed to be optimized to the limited communication environment such as IoT. In pursuing the hyper-connected society, IoT's sensor environment information is now being used as a wide range of information on people's diseases and health management. Thus, security problems of such MQTT include not only the leak of environmental information but also the personal information infringement. To resolve such MQTT security problems, we have designed a new security MQTT communication by applying the initial-value sensitivity and pseudorandomness of the chaotic system to the integrity and confidentiality. The encryption method using our proposed chaotic system offers a simple structure and a small amount of calculation, and it is deemed to be suitable to the limited communication environment such as IoT.

  • Various hyper-intelligent and ultra-realistic data-driven services are being increasingly developed with the goal of achieving a hyper-connected intelligent society. To sustain this trend, our research focuses on the integration and optimization of data-driven applications from several aspects such as delivery, storage, execution, and sharing of data and software, beyond the limitations of the existing network infrastructure. In this paper, we present important research issues of data-centric hyper-distributed autonomous infrastructure technologies.
