Research on Content Control Technology using Hand Gestures to Improve the Usability of Holographic Realistic Content

  • Technologies that are considered to be a part of the fourth industrial revolution include holograms, augmented reality, and virtual reality. As technology advances, the industry's scale is growing quickly as well. While the development of technology for direct use is moving slowly, awareness of floating holograms-which are considered realistic content-is growing as the industry's scale and rate of technological advancement continue to accelerate. Specifically, holograms that have been incorporated into museums and exhibition spaces are static forms of content that viewers gaze at inertly. Additionally, their use in educational fields is very passive and has a low rate of utilization. Therefore, in order to improve usability from the viewpoint of viewers of realistic content, such as exhibition halls or museums, we introduce realistic content control technology in this study using a machine learning framework to recognize hands. It is anticipated that using the study's findings, manipulating realistic content independently will enhance comprehension of objects presented as realistic content and boost its applicability in the industrial and educational domains.

  • 기업 콘텐트의 광범위한 스펙트럼의 대두로 각각의 비즈니스 유형에 적용되는 종래 방식의 포인트 솔루션으로 대응하기에 한계가 있다는 점이 인식되면서, ECM 솔루션에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 ECM 도입을 고려하는 기업의 잠재 사용자를 위해 기업에서 ECM 솔루션 도입시 고려사항을 제시하기 위해 기업 콘텐트의 스펙트럼, ECM의 구성요소 및 핵심가치, ECM의 시장 구조, 그리고 ECM의 기대효과 및 적용사례를 조사 분석한다.

작물재배 환경이 Arbuscular 내생균근 균의 상대밀도와 작물체의 인(P) 함량에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Cultivation Environment on Phosphorus Content in Crops and Relative Density of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi)

  • Available phosphorus($P_2O_5$) in conventionally cultivated soil was more abundant in two fold than that of organically cultivated soil. Relative density of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) was higher in organically cultivated soil, That of welsh onion cultivated soil was the highest, that of strawberry was followed and then that of pepper, respectively. Relative density of AMF was inversely proportioned to available soil phosphorus. Phosphorus content of crop and relative density of AMF were more abundant in organically cultivated crop or soil. However available soil phosphorus content was much in conventionally cultivated soil. The phosphorus contents between soil and crop were negatively correlated. The phosphorus content of crop was increased as the relative density of AMF increased. Relative density of AMF in the organically cultivated soil and phosphorus content of the crop with organic cultivation were higher than those of conventionally cultivated.

  • Selection of Al tolerant woody plants, and possibility of reforestation with the Al tolerant plants in soil conditions with different Al content, topography and slope exposures were studied on the slopes around Yeocheon Industrial Complex. Root growth in length of plants grown in 1/2 Steinberg solution decreased with increased Al concentrations of the solution. Relative root length showed that Paulownia coreana, Celtis sinensis and Firmiana simplex were sensitive to $500\muM$ Al, Pinus koraiensis, Alnus japonica and Ligustrum japonicum were intermediate, and Pinus rigida, P. densiflora and P. thunbergii were tolerant to $1, 000\muM$ Al. Coniferous plants appeared to be more tolerant to Al than deciduous ones. Soil pH was 4.2 and Al content was 509 ppm in average around the Yeocheon industrial complex. Al content and soil acidity were more deteriorated on the foothill and slope facing to the pollution source from the industrial complex than on the ridge and opposite slope.

  • We studied about electrical, chemical and mechanical characteristics of XLPE by dicumyl peroxide(DCP) and trimethylolpropane triacrylate(TMPTA) content ratio. DCP content was changed from 1.0 to 2.5phr increasing 0.5phr. TMPTA content was changed 0.5 to 1.5phr increasing 0.5phr. Thermal analysis (DSC) was carried out in order to observe tendency of 79 according to DCP and TMPTA content. In experimental results, content DCP 2.0phr and TMPTA 1.0phr has highest breakdown strength. Content DCP 2.0phr and TMPTA 0.5phr has lowest dielectric constant. Tendency of Tg did not affected by DCP and TMPTA content. Breakdown strength and Specific inductive capacity was measured.

하이브리드 공정으로 제조한 TiAlSiN 박막의 특성 (Mechanical Properties of TiAlSiN films Coated by Hybrid Process)

  • In this study, TiAlSiN coatings have been successfully synthesized on stainless steel and tungsten carbide substrate by a hybrid coating method employing a cathodic arc and a magnetron sputtering source. TiAl and Si target were vaporized with the cathodic arc source and the magnetron sputtering source, respectively. Process gas was the mixture of nitrogen and argon gas. With the increase of Si content, the crystallinity and the grain size of TiAlSiN film was decreased. At the Si content of more than 8 at.%, grain size of TiAlSiN was saturated at around 2 nm. The hardness value of the TiAlSiN film increased with incorporation of Si, and had the maximum value of ~ 3,233 Hv at the Si content of 9.2 at.%. The oxidation resistance of TiAlSiN film was enhanced with the increase of Si content.

ACSA : An Adaptive Content System Architecture

  • Adapting content services to the needs of the users requires content adaptation for context and sensibility. Adapting to context may necessitate distinguishing between video delivery to a PC versus a smart phone, while adapting to sensibility may necessitate between video delivery outside, in a quiet environment, or at home, or offering different movie choices on a sunny summer day, a cold winter day or a holiday season. One key area to address in providing adaptive content services is the design of the delivery system architecture of the adaptive content server. This paper describes several alternatives for this architecture, and outlines some additional concerns that must be considered when the chosen architecture is implemented.

국내외 고등학교 공업기술과 교육과정 비교 분석 (An Comparative Analysis of High School Industrial Technology Subject-Matter Curriculum in the country and foreign country)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 공업기술교과 성격과 내용이 유사한 외국의 교육과정을 비교 분석함으로서 교육과정 개정의 흐름과 방향, 그리고 교과의 목표와 내용체계에 대하여 고찰해 보는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 이 연구에서는 문헌연구를 중심으로 한 연구방법을 수행하였다. 이 연구에서는 우리나라 공업기술교과와 유사한 과목들이 편성되어 운영되고 있는 일본, 미국, 영국, 그리고 뉴질랜드와 호주의 교육과정을 중심으로 분석하였다.이 연구의 결과를 요약하여 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우리나라 공업기술교과와 유사한 과목으로는 일본의 '공업기술기초'와 '과제연구', 미국의 '기술', 영국의 '설계와 기술', 그리고 뉴질랜드의 '기술', 호주 뉴사우스웨일즈주의 '설계와 기술' 등이 있었다. 둘째, 교과의 목표와 강조점을 분석한 결과, 우리나라는 공업기술은 공업에 대한 지식과 이해, 그리고 진로탐색에 초점을 두고 있었으나, 일본, 미국, 영국, 뉴질랜드, 호주의 경우에는 과정적 접근 방법에 의한 기술적 문제해결력을 강조하고 있었다. 셋째, 교육내용을 분석한 결과, 우리나라는 전반적인 공업 세계의 영역을 다루고 있었으나, 일본은 인간과 기술 및 환경의 관계, 가공기술과 생산기술, 과제연구를 다루고 있었으며, 미국은 지식과 과정, 그리고 맥락에 의한 내용표준을 제시하고 있었고, 영국, 뉴질랜드, 그리고 호주의 경우에는 설계과정에 초점을 두고 있었다. 이 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 후속 연구를 제언하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공업기술교과의 교육과정 운영에 대한 실태분석이 필요하다. 둘째, 공업기술교과의 목표와 내용체계에 대한 전문가와 이해관계자들의 인식과 요구분석이 필요하다.

내용기반 영상검색 시스템 (Content-based Image Retrieval System)

  • In this paper we propose a content-based image retrieval method that can search large image databases efficiently by color, texture, and shape content. Quantized RGB histograms and the dominant triple (hue, saturation, and value), which are extracted from quantized HSV joint histogram in the local image region, are used for representing global/local color information in the image. Entropy and maximum entry from co-occurrence matrices are used for texture information and edge angle histogram is used for representing shape information. Relevance feedback approach, which has coupled proposed features, is used for obtaining better retrieval accuracy. Simulation results illustrate the above method provides 77.5 percent precision rate without relevance feedback and increased precision rate using relevance feedback for overall queries. We also present a new indexing method that supports fast retrieval in large image databases. Tree structures constructed by k-means algorithm, along with the idea of triangle inequality, eliminate candidate images for similarity calculation between query image and each database image. We find that the proposed method reduces calculation up to average 92.9 percent of the images from direct comparison.
