This paper talks about the university curriculum for the education of management information systems in Korea. This paper especially develops a new model of the university curriculum based on the questionnaire from the fifteen universities, students, professors and field managers in information system development areas. This paper finally compares a new model with the existing curriculum of the domestic four-year universities.

Background: With the development of the information technology industry and the increasing importance of health information, there is a need to analyze the current certification system for health information management education. This study compared and analyzed the health information management education accreditation system between the Republic of Korea and the United States. Methods: Descriptive analysis and quantitative methodologies were used to compare the education accreditation system and understand the current status of health information management curriculum run by universities in the Republic of Korea and the United States. Results: Regardless of the academic year, the Republic of Korea had one certification system based on subject-based criteria. However, the United States had a certification system for associate, baccalaureate, and master's degree programs with competency-based criteria. The accreditation system was different in terms of the way the curriculum is certified and the options for the different levels of university degree programs. Conclusion: Accordingly, it is necessary to consider improving the quality of health information management personnel at different levels by improving the current accreditation system and differentiating the curriculum according to the degree program levels in the Republic of Korea.

Training Curriculum Integrated Information Network is allowed to searching the all curriculums and courses related with training but also is a one stop handling integrated learning system to cover a course registration, learning and analysis of learning performance. Through developing and managing the Training Curriculum Integrated Information Network, it is available to get the various curriculum thus it is for trainers able to enforce the self oriented course choice and then high quality of training could be proposed by the diverse training curriculums and competitions. To manage Training Curriculum Integrated Information Network more effectively, active public relations marketing activities, high reliable correct information service and rich contents are required. It is essential to manage the learner and learning contents supplier, stable financial resources, personal security issue and protecting a copyright of training curriculum to be a successful network system.

Purpose To meet changing social demands and fulfill the needs of the information and communications technology industry, the curriculum of MIS related department should develop and implement new conceptual frameworks. In response, the purpose of this study was to develop curriculum for students in the Department of e-Business at Kyungnam University. Design/methodology/approach We conducted a demands analysis of educational demanders, NCS(National Competency Standards) based curricular analysis, and benchmarking from other management information systems related departments. The expert panel committee consisting of e-Business department faculty members was held to examine and discuss the student-oriented curriculum developed during this study. Findings Results show that the contents and types of curriculum should be organized so that students can maximize their professional job competency to apply to their core professional tasks. Given these findings, we reconstructed the curriculum with both basic and advanced courses, all systematically organized according to the job requirements they offer toward meeting the industry's needs. We also implemented the web-based JSSS(Job Searching Support System) with which educational demanders can search among 13 job types, estimate their performances, and obtain the information about course registration. In all this study presents specific, practical evidence of the job-related curriculum for students in the Department of e-Business at Kyungnam University.

The curriculum in primary and secondary school is at the heart of the education. In education, a curriculum is broadly defined as the comprehensive plan consisting of educational goal and objectives, instructional content, materials, teaching and learning method. Many countries has national level curricula in primary and secondary education, such as the Korea. Korean national curriculum has been revised 10 times. Currently, '2015 revised curriculum' is applied in korea. On the other hand, the Korean library association developed called a 'Library and information life' curriculum for information literacy instruction in 2007. However, this curriculum is based on the '2007 revised national curriculum', so it differs from the system and contents structure of the '2015 revised national curriculum'. Since the primary and secondary school applying the '2015 revised national curriculum', 'Library and information life' curriculum should be revised. Therefore, this study suggests the direction of revising the 'Library and information life' curriculum after comparing and analyzing '2015 revised curriculum' and 'Library and information life' curriculum.

This study is about the direction of how to compose the information domain curriculum in the domestic subject matter centered curriculum system. To this end, subject-centered and competency-centered curriculum were compared and analyzed, and how the information domain was organized in two types was suggested. In spite of emphasizing competency, the domestic curriculum was judged to be inclined to the subject-centered curriculum because it emphasized the presentation of national-level educational goals, a subject learning model, and textbooks. As examples of the information domain subject-centered curriculum, the information domain of the elementary practical subject and the middle school information curriculum were presented, and the SW convergence curriculum was presented as an example of a progressive curriculum. Under such circumstances, it was emphasized that in order for the learner to lead a life in an intelligent society in the future through the information domain including SWAI content, it must be explicitly described in a subject-centered perspective with computer science as the parent study.

The background of this study is the observation that there is an increase in the number of elderly persons and the decrease in fertility rates, which may be related to the increase in the average age of the Korean people; accordingly, the national health insurance system changes every year following this pattern. However, this study investigates whether these changes are reflected in the dental hygiene curriculum. Data from the national health insurance system is reviewed for the last three years, and the recently published dental hygiene curriculum is selected, compared, and analyzed using a literature survey. The study is divided into two parts: information that is reflected in the dental hygiene curriculum and information that is not reflected in the dental hygiene curriculum, but which it is believed should be included. In addition, as the part reflected in the dental hygiene curriculum, it was stated in three subjects of dental implantology, dental prosthesis, and conservative dentistry, and there were four cases. Therefore, efforts should be made to ensure that the curriculum for dental hygiene students should reflect the changes in the national health insurance system so that students can more easily understand dental insurance claim processes.

Computer education currently executed at elementary schools showed problems of system of education curriculum, repetition, and lack of consistent system as a result of analyzing index for information and communication technology, education curriculum, and related literatures, and most of the education contents have difficulty to nurture logic thinking and problem-solving ability since they are composed mainly of software function learning. Concerning this issue, this study suggests an innovated computer education curriculum with reinforced information ethics field with computer principle, algorithm, and programming, in other words, a corrected and supplemented version of former content system based on computer science guidance cases of ACM education curriculum model of USA, computer education curriculum of state Tennessee, and information technology education curriculum of Great Britain judging that introduction of computer science factors are desperate to improve computer education curriculum in elementary schools.

We studied educational model and contents required for information equipment, operating system, and information communication for developing KAIE computing system curriculum in elementary education. Therefore, we extracted key concepts and associated concepts and restructured the curriculum contents through analysis of national and international information education curriculum. We designed educational model that can be applied to elementary school, third and fourth graders, and fifth and sixth graders. The contents of the designed model were validated through expert verification by Delphi survey. The result of this study is expected to be applied to the development of learning strategies of various learner and teacher's teaching and learning model by combining learning contents elements of sub-area of computing system curriculum.

Currently, basic simple search techniques for curriculum are being implemented. But curriculum information retrieval applying ontology technologies is still weak level. In this paper, the curriculum of university was divided into the liberal arts and majors, and we proposed frame model by these methodes and designed management system to construct ontology. This management system was composed of ontology input system and ontology web service system. Ontology input system constructed curriculum of department into ontology by administrator and we designed web service system to retrieve curriculum by students. We validated ontology designed for curriculum using ontology tool.
