Fault Detection in an Automatic Central Air-Handling Unit (자동 공조설비의 고장 검출 기술)

  • This paper describes the use of residual and parameter identification methods for fault detection in an air handling unit. Faults can be detected by comparing expected condition with the measured faulty data using residuals. Faults can also be detected by examining unmeasurable parameter changes in a model of a controlled system using a system identification technique. In this study, AutoRegressive Moving Average with seXtrnal input(ARMAX) and AutoRegressive with eXternal input(ARX) models with both single-input/single-input and multi-input/single-input structures are examined. Model parameters are determined using the Kalman filter recursive identification method. Regression equations are calculated from normal experimental data and are used to compute expected operating variables. These approaches are tested using experimental data from a laboratory's variable-air-volume air-handling-unit.

Experimental study on the heat transfer characteristics of woofer speaker unit (우퍼 스피커 유닛의 열전달 특성에 대한 실험적 연구)

  • The objective of this study is to experimentally investigate the heat transfer characteristics of 200W woofer speaker unit with the input voice signals such as 500 Hz, 1000 Hz, 2000 Hz, and 3000 Hz. The temperature and heat transfer characteristics of the woofer speaker unit were evaluated with the input signals. As results. the temperature of the voice-coil for woofer speaker unit increased with a decrease of the input signals and the temperature differences between parts of the tested speaker unit increased with the decrease of the input voice signals. In addition, the voice-coil temperature for the input signal of 500 Hz showed 48.4 % lower than that of 3000 Hz during 18000 sec.

  • In this paper, the way that input voltage and input line current as a control variable is provided as one unit is projected. Till no, have denied with three phase balanced load. But, in that case, total power factor compensation is difficult, for to control each phase at unbalanced load. Therefor, in this paper suggest of the scheme that three phase unbalanced load is controlled by each phase and input total power factor is compensated unit input factor. therefore, in this paper suggest that three phase unbalanced load is controlled and the method in compensation of unit input factor to be attended by unbalanced load. Besides, the object of control is calculating quantity for input voltage and input line current for the point at issuse make to improve of control method at unbalanced load. As a result, control system of each phase could maintain as a unit input total power factor has been state diviation error of 2% with unbalanced load.

  • The railway vehicle has an auxiliary power unit for supplying power to the associated electronic control devices and passenger service unit. Typically, input voltage from the catenary for rolling stock is highly fluctuating according to the substation capacity, vehicle propulsion and regeneration. Especially, the frost and freezing on contact wire in winter can cause a blackout inside vehicle, and also brings about electronic components damaging and the system down. To prevent this problem, a large filter and capacitor is used. But this is not a perfect solution, because it is increasing weight of the unit. In this paper, a new algorithm is proposed to suppress the disturbance without adding devices. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has performance to suppress the disturbance at the sudden input voltage variations.

Power Flow and Efficiency of Input Coupled type CVT combined Differential Gear Unit (차동기어장치를 적용한 입력축 연결방식 무단변속기의 동력흐름 및 효율해석에 관한 연구)

  • Continuously variable transmission(CVT) combined differential gear unit has many advantages, which are the decrease of CVT size, the increase of overall efficiency, the extension of speed ratio range, and the generation of geared neutral. It is known that such CVT can be classified into the input coupled type and the output coupled type according to the coupling location of continuously variable unit(CVU). In this paper, six different configurations of input coupled type CVT combined V-belt CVU and 2K-H I type differential gear unit are proposed. Some useful theoretical formula related to speed ratio, power flow and efficiency are derived and analyzed. The propriety of derived formula and theoretical analysis are proven by various experiments.

  • In this paper, the AMBA AXI slave unit that can verify the pipelined arithmetic unit is proposed and the 2-stage 16-bit pipelined multiplier is introduced as design example. The proposed AXI slave unit consists of input buffer block memory, control registers, pipelined arithmetic unit, control unit, output buffer block memory, and AXI slave interface unit. The main operational procedures are divided into the following steps, such as burst-mode input data loading for the input buffer memory, programming of control registers, arithmetic operations for block data in the input buffer memory, and burst-mode output data unloading from output buffer memory to host processor. Because the proposed AXI slave unit is general structure, it can be efficiently applicable to AMBA AXI and AHB slave unit with pipelined arithmetic unit.

  • This paper deals with a $3{\phi}$ rectifier unit for telecommunication system. The rectifier unit is developed to Cope with the step-up of the AC input voltatage from 220V to 380V. By using a buck-type converter in the front-end, it keeps the input power factor high and reduces the voltage ripple in the dc output. It also has a very wide voltage regulation range, which lets the unit be applied for both the 220V and 380V input system. The study includes the power conversion scheme, control strategy, snubber circuit and finally, experimental results.

Evaluating LIMU System Quality with Interval Evidence and Input Uncertainty

  • The laser inertial measurement unit is a precision device widely used in rocket navigation system and other equipment, and its quality is directly related to navigation accuracy. In the quality evaluation of laser inertial measurement unit, there is inevitably uncertainty in the index input information. First, the input numerical information is in interval form. Second, the index input grade and the quality evaluation result grade are given according to different national standards. So, it is a key step to transform the interval information input by the index into the data form consistent with the evaluation result grade. In the case of uncertain input, this paper puts forward a method based on probability distribution to solve the problem of asymmetry between the reference grade given by the index and the evaluation result grade when evaluating the quality of laser inertial measurement unit. By mapping the numerical relationship between the designated reference level and the evaluation reference level of the index information under different distributions, the index evidence symmetrical with the evaluation reference level is given. After the uncertain input information is transformed into evidence of interval degree distribution by this method, the information fusion of interval degree distribution evidence is carried out by interval evidential reasoning algorithm, and the evaluation result is obtained by projection covariance matrix adaptive evolution strategy optimization. Taking a five-meter redundant laser inertial measurement unit as an example, the applicability and effectiveness of this method are verified.

End-to-end Korean Document Summarization using Copy Mechanism and Input-feeding (복사 방법론과 입력 추가 구조를 이용한 End-to-End 한국어 문서요약)

  • In this paper, the copy mechanism and input feeding are applied to recurrent neural network(RNN)-search model in a Korean-document summarization in an end-to-end manner. In addition, the performances of the document summarizations are compared according to the model and the tokenization format; accordingly, the syllable-unit, morpheme-unit, and hybrid-unit tokenization formats are compared. For the experiments, Internet newspaper articles were collected to construct a Korean-document summary data set (train set: 30291 documents; development set: 3786 documents; test set: 3705 documents). When the format was tokenized as the morpheme-unit, the models with the input feeding and the copy mechanism showed the highest performances of ROUGE-1 35.92, ROUGE-2 15.37, and ROUGE-L 29.45.

  • This paper propose that is algorithm of power dissipation reduction in the high level synthesis design for DSP(Digital Signal Processor), as the portable terminal system recently demand high power dissipation. This paper obtain effect of power dissipation reduction and switching activity that increase correlation of operands as input data of function unit. The algorithm search loop or repeatedly data to the input operands of function unit. That can be reduce the power dissipation using the new low power high level synthesis algorithm. In this Paper, scheduling operation search same nodes from input DFG(Data Flow Graph) with correlation coefficient of first input node and among nodes. Function units consist a multiplier, an adder and a register. The power estimation method is added switching activity for each bits of nodes. The power estimation have good efficient using proposed algorithm. This paper result obtain more Power reduction of fifty percents after using a new low power algorithm in a function unit as multiplier.
