This study deals with a case analysis on the implementation of ISO 9000/14000 Integrated Management System. The intention is to provide some general guidelines, in particular, to small-to-medium-sized companies that are planning to introduce the Integrated Management System. First we briefly review each of the ISO 9000 series, ISO 14000 series and Integrated Management System. We then investigate the case of a small-sized company that have built and is successfully operating the Integrated Management System. We start with introducing the company, and then examine the background and the procedure for implementing the Integrated Management System. We investigate effects of the Integrated Management System, which are the main focus of this paper. This study is meaningful in that, to our best knowledge, it is the first field report appearing in the literature in regard to the actual implementation of ISO 9000/14000 Integrated Management System in Korea.

The integrated environmental permit system is currently in operation online. It carries out various functions of postmanagement such as the submission of annual reports containing operations management data onto integrated management workplaces, the operation and management of emission facilities and prevention facilities, and the disclosure of information on the integrated permission. On the other hand, the integrated environmental permit system needs to perform various roles in order to stably manage and smoothly perform the permitting work. It is necessary to utilize this system to establish policies by using diverse operations management data onto integrated management workplaces collected in the integrated environmental permit system. This system can also play a role in improving the post-management system and user convenience after the permission review and approval processes. The integrated environmental permit system can be effectively used to set up the BAT-AEL because it collects all of the cross-media data and identifies the overall status of the workplace. In order to establish a post management system after the approval, it is necessary to provide performance management and performance evaluation functions as conditions of the permit after approval. In addition, a variety of support functions should be provided to enable the permission authority and the environmental expert examination agency to facilitate the review of permits. It will be necessary to provide an evaluation system and a proactive diagnostic function to determine whether permission conditions and permit emission standards will change in the future. Also, it is important to adopt an information exchange platform that can be used to collect the status data onto the workplaces; the platform can also be used as an information exchange site for technical working groups (TWG), and for collecting field experts' opinions.

This study presents the design of integrated safety, quality, and environmental information system based on the internet environment. Quality management system, environmental management system, and safety management system are adapted in many manufacturing and service organization respectively but those system does not work effectively. Especially safety management system and environmental management system are very similar with format and contents. Therefore, Those system must be integrated to increase effiency.

The purpose of this study is to offer the integrated model of the product safety management system, ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 environmental management system and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and to present its management plan. This paper analyses the theories and practices of the integrated management of records and archives in china which means that records and archives management departments should be interrelated each other with organic association and their records and archives be managed in an integrated manner. In 1930s chinese nationalist regime had conducted a campaign for reforming documents and archives management system to increase administrative efficiency called "The Connection of Documents and Archives Management Act(文書檔案連鎖法)". Although this campaign has not been continued to the present, It has been proved to be a quite successful attempt at that time in china and also regarded as an origin of the integrated management of records and archives in china. The practical types of the integrated management of records and archives as follows: first is to establish institutional documents/archives department in charge of managing records and archives in an integrative manner; second, to reform filing system, that is, to file on a case basis or abolish filing system and arrange records on an item level instead; third, to install software application for the integrated management of records and archives in order to make arranging operations convenient by increasing data processing efficiency. The chinese case shows us that the integrated management of records and archives could not be realized until records and archives departments make united efforts to build up a new national records and archives management system based on advanced and scientific principles.

While urban regeneration projects are currently under active execution in several old cities in Korea, there are few projects to improve the quality of life of rural communities. Considering the decline of the SOC system, deterioration of housing, and degeneration of economic feasibility, the purpose of this study is to provide solutions to realize an improved economic and social environment of rural communities through an integrated management system for traffic safety and water management systems. Therefore, this research used an Entity-Relationship Diagram to construct an integrated system for traffic safety and water management systems for Chungcheong rural communities. The ERD is prepared by depicting 7 relationships for 13 entities, including traffic accidents and agricultural products, and 26 attributes, including soil moisture and underflow storage. Consequently, it will be possible to set up a decision-making support system that can analyze and evaluate the regeneration index, technology, and management of the systems for Chungcheong rural communities, based on supplier and user perspectives

This study presented a model of enterprise that operates an integrated system, and studied about an integrated element of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 standard. In addition to this, it grasped what the obstacle elements are in use of an integrated system, and analyzed the effect in use of an integrated system through the survey on 58 enterprises that operate an integrated system, From the result of this study, we have known that the obstacle elements in operation of an integrated system are in lack of understanding of process, in lack of execution ability of system, in unfamiliarity of system and lack of willingness of the executives.
