Purpose - This study aimed to examine how the integration of IT systems was applied in the merger and acquisition (M&A) process in a Korean retail industry, based on the conceptual framework of a combination of related, existing literature. Research design, data, methodology - We employed the case study method, which involved literature reviews and interviews. We conducted a documentary survey and interviews regarding the M&A case for company A. Results - Company A had an integration strategy and plan with IT expertise before it began integrating both IT systems in D-Day. The IT integration of both systems was completed efficiently and effectively. Company A utilized not just one but all integration options, which was done in stages and according to situation. Conclusions - Companies should develop an integration strategy and have a clear integration plan with IT expertise in order to achieve successful integration. Companies trying to integrate IT systems during an M&A process can utilize all integration options in consideration of their business context and IT system conditions.

In land navigation applications, two kinds of GPS/DR integration schemes are commonly used; the loosely-coupled integration scheme and the tightly-coupled one. The loosely-coupled integration filter has a simple structure and is easy to implement. When the number of visible satellites is insufficient, however, it cannot calibrate the errors of the DR sensors. On the contrary the tigthly-coupled integration filter can sup-press the growth of the error in the DR output even when the visibility is poor. However, it has larger com-putation load due to the state dimension and is inconsistent because of the variation in the measurement dimension. This paper presents a GPS/DR integration scheme with dual integration mode. During when the number of visible satellites is sufficient, the proposed scheme operates in a loosely-coupled integration mode. When the visibility becomes poor, it is switched into a tightly-coupled integration mode. Consequently, the pro-posed scheme can calibrate the DR sensors even when the visibility is poor. In addition, its computation time remains constant even if the number of visible satellites increases. Field experiment results show that the performance of the proposed integration method is almost similar to that of the tightly-coupled one.

Objective : This single-subject study explored the effect of short-term intensive sensory integration therapy program which was provided in a 2006 sensory integration treatment course on adaptive response of a four-year-girl with sensory modulation disorder(mixed pattern). Method : Based on results of the assessment to the child, her therapist offers an organized sensory integration program during four days. Results : Improvement of child's movement quality and variety in physical environment in therapy rooms and interaction with her therapist were observed. Conclusions : This report of the case will be helpful for occupational therapists who plan to intervent with a short-term intensive sensory integration therapy program. In addition, the need for consideration of consultation with the child's parents is discussed.

This research investigated the opinions of teachers and directors on the integration of early childhood education and childcare centers in Korea. Participants were 800 teachers and directors working with young children in kindergartens and childcare centers. The survey consisted of questions regarding reasons, feasibility, and means of integration, as well as tasks that should be achieved prior to integration. Results showed that the participants were skeptical about executing the integration in practice even though they agreed to the integration of education and care in early childhood. They reported the integration of auspices should take place prior to integration of education and care in early childhood.

The biggest exchange of international environment of shipping logistics in 21 century should appear ultra-mega container ships on the shipping market. The competitive trend of large size container ship was based on economics of scale among the international shipping business. In the environment, shipping firms consider the integration of freight forwarder and shipper in the international logistics process. The aims of this research analyse a relation between the environment uncertainty and logistics information system(LIS) and the integration and resolve the integration and its impact on logistics performance. The research methodology of this research analyse structural equation modeling on the relation of variables. The results of research are as follows. First, Environmental uncertainty significantly influences the internal integration and the external integration. Second, LIS has an influence on the logistics integration by providing the foundation for LIS utilization in international logistics process. Third, the internal integration significantly influences a logistics performance, which implies that firms should promote interaction and collaboration through internal process integration to achieve logistics performance as the logistical cost and service. But the external integration is not significantly a logistics performance.

수요사슬에서 기업간 협업은 통합 (Integration), 협업(Exchange), 그리고 동기화(Syncronize)라는 3 단계의 계층구조를 갖으며, 단계가 높을수록 협업의 지능성은 강하다. 이 논문은 국내의 제조업과 서비스업을 중심으로 지능적인 수요사슬 통합전략(공급통합, 수요통합, 수요사슬통합)을 수행하는데 영향을 주는 동인들을 발견한다. 여기 동인에는 효율적 동인과 시대적 동인으로 구분하여 각 통합전략에 어떻게 영향을 미치는 지를 조사하여, 그 특징을 파악하고 문제점을 제시한다. 인터넷 강국인 국내기업의 통합전략과 동인에 대한 면밀한 분석을 통해 기업에게 가장 이상적인 통합전략이 무엇인지를 제시한다. 결론에서는 고객과 통합을 추진하는 통합전략을 선택한 기업은 웹통합을 하는 가장 큰 이유는 경영성과를 높이기 위해 추진하는 것으로 나타났으며, 공급자와 통합을 하는 전략을 선택한 기업은 외부환경의 압력에 의해서 어쩔 수 없이 추진하는 것으로 해석된다.

위성항법시스템에서 정확한 위성궤도결정 기술은 측위 정확도 향상의 필수적인 조건이다. 이 연구에서는 GLONASS의 방송궤도력과 4차 Runge-Kutta 수치적분법을 이용하여 위성좌표를 결정하였으며, 적분간격과 적분시간에 따른 위성궤도의 정확도를 비교하였다. 적분간격에 따른 위성궤도 정확도분석결과, 적분간격이 l초일 때와 300초일 때의 3차원 RMS 오자의 차이가 3cm에 불과한 반면 처리시간은 100배 이상 향상되었다. 적분시간에 따른 위성좌표의 3차원 RMS 오차는 적분시간이 30분, 150분, 300분일 때 각각 8.3m, 187.3m, 661.5m로 나타났으며, 이를 통해 적분시간을 짧게 할수록 정확도가 향상되는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 GLONASS 측위를 위한 위성좌표 결정의 정확도 향상을 위해 적분시간을 최소화할 수 있는 Forward와 Backward 적분을 적용하는 방안을 제안하였으며, 이와 같은 방법을 사용할 경우 5m이하의 위성좌표 산출 정확도를 확보할 수 있다.

Purpose: This paper studied about the integration for management system of representative international standard related to sustainable development. The well-known International standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001) can be operated in accordance with the organizational situation individually, or in a variety of ways of integration. It can be applied to help organizations utilizing the newly established "ISO IEC Directive Part1 Annex SL", when integrating quality, environmental and safety & health management systems based on international standards. Methods: We conducted an empirical survey of management executives and experts to study how three factors (management systems, organizational capabilities and integration methods) could affect business performance. Results: The questionnaire was analyzed using AMOS structural equation model. Quality, environmental and safety and health management systems affected management performance, and integration methods of management system affected business efficiency, risk performance and financial performance. Integration method is also important because organizational competence affects various aspects of integrated management. However, factors that affect integration should also be considered in terms of organizational capabilities. This is because organizational capacity influences the integration plan. Conclusion: To integrate the document system at the strategic level, management should actively participate in integrated operations to integrate organizations, eliminate duplicate tasks, and foster document integration experts to reflect the characteristics of individual standard. In the case of document integration, quality management is focusing, but once ISO 45001 is issued, the use of Annex SL is increasing, and Quality, environment and safety & health integration will also be expanded. It is possible to increase the effect of integration by strategically approaching and establishing organization document system rather than simple integration according to management system standard arrangement.

본 연구는 한국우정의 우편물류통합정보시스템(PostNet)의 구축 사례를 통하여 정보시스템 통합의 단계별 추진과정과 성공적인 실행동인을 살펴보고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. PostNet은 조직상의 통합(조직구조 개편), 전략적 통합(업무처리절차 재설계), 기술적 통합(데이터통합, 어플리케이션통합, 통합플렛폼 구축)을 상황적으로 고려하여 정보시스템 통합을 수행하였다. 또한 통합과정에서 세 가지 측면의 통합을 목적에 맞게 연계되도록 구현하였다. PostNet은 기존에 물리적 통합 및 하드웨어 통합의 단계에 머물러 있던 정보시스템 통합의 수준을 경영 목표, 운영 목표와 일치시키도록 진일보시켰다는데 큰 의의가 있다. 한국우정은 물류산업 내에서 최대의 물류망, 조직 서비스를 보유하고 있다 따라서 본 논문의 결과는 향후 정보시스템 통합의 이론적 근거의 틀을 제시할 뿐 아니라 특히 물류시스템 통합에 대한 가이드라인으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Objective : The objective of this case study is to search the effects of sensory integration treatment. First we have taken a child with a cerebral palsy and given him/her sensory integration treatment. Then, we intended to look into whether the child performed his daily-life tasks and how satisfactory the parents were with the treatment. Methods : We have chosen a child with a cerebral palsy and tested his sensory integration functions. Applying the 30 minutes-sensory integration treatment twenty times to the child, we compared the result of the treatment using Canadian Occupational Performance Measure. We counseled the parents of the child before and after the treatment. Results : We have rated the problems with the degrees of importance referring to the parents. Important problems include controlling eliminations, having meals, moving by self, interacting with peer groups, and performing delicate hand-movements. The score of the in the performance is 1.2 and the score of the degree in the satisfaction is 1.4 compared with the total score. Conclusion : We have concluded that the sensory integration treatment has the effective result to the daily-life task performances of a child with a cerebral palsy, a kind of sensory integration dysfunction and satisfies the child's parents after this case study.
