  • User interface design environment has been known to be part of important elements in user experience and play, and its significance of functionalities are growing bigger each year. In present day, use of intuitive user interface design are on demand. Player can expect to get a new experience that they can not get from other exiting or similar form of games. For the better user experience, essential use of intuitive game play is necessary along with its perceptive user interface. This paper describes intuitive game environment design which will enhance user experience with use of brainwave signal for Brain Computer Interface.

  • This paper presents an intuitive interface scheme for controlling a hydraulic backhoe, which is a piece of excavating equipment consisting of a digging bucket on the end of a two-part articulated arm, and typically mounted and rotated on the back of a tractor or front loader. The passive levers/joysticks for actuator operations of a hydraulic backhoe are replaced into electric joysticks with a robotic controller, which will generate the end-effecter command trajectories of the backhoe through joystick rate control in cylindrical coordinate. The developed backhoe with the hydraulic control system showed the maxim position error of 3 cm with intuitive coordinate operations, which would be helpful for conveniently performing various excavating tasks with natural and effective ways.

  • The interface design of mobile products has become a hot issue recently as a variety of products are being developed for extended usages. There have been two different views on interface design of mobile products like PDAs(personal digital assistants) or cellular phone. One 치aims that the current interface design of PC cannot be directly applied because mobile products have their own specific functions and requirements. On the meantime, the other argues that an extended application of PC metaphors to mobile products can have advantages because users'PC experiences can reduce the learning efforts and thus contribute to intuitive understanding mobile products. In this research, two types of PDAs, developed according to the aforementioned conflicting philosophies were compared and evaluated, based on laboratory-based usability testing conducted by novice users. The experiment consists of asking subjects to perform identical tasks for the two different types of products. The interaction data collected during usability testing were analyzed in terms of time taken, rate of success of tasks and errors. The experiment shows that there were some meaningful effects of users'experience of PC on the usability of PDAs.

Virtual Reality Game Modeling for a Haptic Jacket

  • In this paper, we describe a haptic jacket and wheel as a haptic interface to enhance VR game realism. Building upon the VR game system using this devices, our haptic interface technique allows the user to intuitive interact on game contents, and then to sense the game event properties such as walking, attacking, driving and fire in a natural way. In addition, we extended the initial haptic model to support haptic decoration and dynamic interactions due to the added game event in a real time display. An application example presented here is a VR Dino-Attack game. This game supports interactions among dynamic and our intuitive haptic interface. Modeling physic interactions involves precise collision detection, real-time force computation, and high control-loop bandwidth.

  • In this thesis we present the way of visually intuitive interface to the web site users through the comparison of NIN web site with clearly intuitive web site. Improving the web site which has NIN problem to visually intuitive we can achieve web site's visitors who want to buy something got a feeling of graphical excellence and understand web site navigational structure easily through the intuitive navigational design and complete purchasing easily therefore these are to be the basis of the internet business systems goal which is assumed as business success. In a experiment we examine web site's case study and to make an implementation we use flash to solve NIN problem which is improved in a visually intuitive.

  • Several researches in 3D interaction have identified and extensively studied the four basic interaction tasks for 3D/VE applications, namely, navigation, selection, manipulation and system control. These interaction schemes in the real world or VE are generally suitable for interacting with small graspable objects. In some applications, it is important to duplicate real world behavior. For example, a training system for a manual assembly task and usability verification system benefits from a realistic system for object grasping and manipulation. However, it is not appropriate to instantly apply these interaction technologies to such applications, because the quality of simulated grasping and manipulation has been limited. Therefore, we introduce the intuitive and natural 3D interaction haptic interface supporting high-precision hand operations and realistic haptic feedback.

  • Web sites are needed to approach the lots of ways that increase the user intuitive play over communicating information nowadays. So the stimulus of tactile sense establish it's importance through active study in other fields and we expect great effect to applicate this tactile sense in web site. This study analyzed both the experience for intuition and the increase of intuitive play in web site and investigated the importance of tactile sense. This user experience through the tactile sense not only communicates between designer and user but has the intuitive play for users. So we analyzed the factors of tactile user experience in web site and considered it's application and then applied these factors in internet shopping mail. After that, we analyzed the users'response in the Internet shopping mall using the tactile user experiences through the research.
