The Structure and the Layout of Ji-ui on the Main and the Subsidiary Hall of the Royal Palace in the Late Joseon Dynasty (조선 후기 궁궐 정전과 편전 지의(地衣)의 구조와 배치 방식)

  • In the late Joseon Dynasty, the floor of the royal palace was covered with grass mat called ji-ui. Ji-ui was produced by connecting several mats named seokja(席子) and trimming the edge with narrow fabric named seon(縇). The standard manufacturing technique was to connect the shorter sides of the seokjas by overstitching them. A room was covered with either single or multiple ji-uis, depending on the case. In the case of the main and the subsidiary halls (jeong-jeon and pyeon-jeon, respectively) where the king conducted official meetings with the civil servants, multiple ji-uis were laid out to signify the division of space, which reflected the ceremonial aspects of the governing acts. The most essential division was the distinction of yeong-wae(楹外) and yeong-nae(楹內), with the jeon-goju (a tall frontal pillar inside the hall) functioning as the breakpoint. Jeong-jeon was divided into four spaces each covered with one ji-ui: yeong-nae, yeong-wae, and the left and the right sides of the royal seat named jwa-tap(座榻). Pyeon-jeon was covered with three ji-uis that divided the hall into three spaces: yeong-nae, yeong-wae, and hu-twae(後退) (the hind section) where the royal seat was placed on.

  • 사용자-제품 간의 인터랙션 환경의 변화로 인해 사용자 행태 정보의 특성을 체계적으로 분석하기 위한 많은 연구가 진행 되고 있으며, 사용자 행태 연구의 접근 가능성 보다는 행태 정보를 UI 디자인 과정에 어떻게 적용할 것인지에 대한 연구가 더욱 중요해 지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 미래 제품 개발 환경에서 효율적인 UI디자인을 위하여 사용자의 실 생활에서 수집된 사용자 행태 정보를 UI 디자인 설계 과정에 효과적으로 적용할 수 있는 모델링 방법을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 사용자 행태 정보가 갖고 있는 단계별 구조의 특성을 정의하고, 행태 정보의 구조 분석을 통해 미래 제품 개발 환경에서 제품 사용 단계별 적용 가능한UI 고려 요소 및 UI 해결 방안의 도출 과정을 가시화 시켜 주기 위한 UI 모델링 방법을 제안하였다. 사례 연구로 현재 현관문에서 발생하는 사용자 행태 정보에 UI 모델링을 적용하여 미래 환경에서 제공 가능한 GATE System의 UI 고려 요소 및 UI 해결 방안을 추출하여 적용 가능성을 제시하였다.

A Study on the Functions of the Five Spirits Based on the Characteristics of Five Phases (오행(五行) 특성을 바탕으로 한 오신(五神)의 기능에 대한 고찰)

  • This study aims to investigate the specific functions of the five spirits based on the characteristics of five phases. In Korean medicine, the mind is classified into five spirits and seven emotions. The spirits (hon, sin, ui, baek, ji) are a way of analyzing of people's mental structures, and they are affected by each other, influencing life activities both directly and indirectly. They are also related to the five viscera and come into their own functions through the characteristics of the five phases that are assigned to the viscera. Sin is the main agent of mental activity that is normal, correct, and perfect, and it directs the other four. Hon is activity that is exposed to the outside from mental and physical aspects such as planning, creative thinking, creating, judgment, speech, and emotional expression. Baek is internal activity, such as obtaining information, learning, seeing, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. Ui is meant to decide between new and already saved information based on comparative analysis. Ji is the activity of making the final decision and saving it in ui. Based on the above, we suppose that the five spirits' functions match the characteristics of the five phases.

  • Objectives : The objectives of this study is to provide the theoretical basis to cure and prevent mental disease by translating and considering Benshen chapter in LingShu. Methods : First, I translate the contents of "Benshen" chapter in LingShu paragraph by paragraph. Second, I consider the contents of Benshen chapter in LingShu. Third, after considering each paragraph of Benshen chapter in LingShu, I think the relation of each paragraph and picture to myself Benshen chapter. Results and Conclusions : 1. Heart(心) appeared in Benshen chapter mediates the action of 'JeongSinHonBaek(精神魂魄)' and 'UiJiSaRyeoJi(意志思虑智)'. 2. 'UiJiSaRyeoJi(意志思虑智)' appeared in Benshen chapter means the process of the maturity of thought. 'Jeong(精)' which has a 'water(水), sink(沈), silent(靜)' image gets involved in the development from 'Ui(意)' to 'Ji(志)', because its process means the thought is deepening. 'Hon(魂)' which has a 'wind(風), cloud(雲), change(變)' image gets involved in the development from 'Ji(志)' to 'Sa(思)', because its process means the change of the thought. 'Sin(神)' which has a 'fire(火), bright(明), move(動)' image gets involved in the development from 'Sa(思)' to 'Ryeo(慮)', because its process means the expansion the horizon of the cognition. 'Baek(魄)' which has a 'metal(金), firm(剛), decide (決)' image gets involved in the development from 'Ryeo(慮)' to 'Ji(智)', because its process means the wise response to real world. 3. If one is immersed in one emotion and cannot escape from it, the functional change of Gi(氣) due to its emotion harms five spirits which move in the opposite direction and causes mental physical symptoms and has a possibility to die in the season which inhibit each five organs. 4. Five spirits(五神) acts based on 'HyeolMaekYeongGiJeong(血脈營氣精)' and in the symtoms caused by deficiency and excess of five organ Gi(五藏氣), symptoms of liver and heart appear in emotion and symptoms of spleen lung kidney appear in body. 5. Benshen chapter highlights the importance of checking 'Sin(神)' and 'Gi(氣)' treating a patient with acupuncture and mentioning the importance of observing deficiency and excess of five organ Gi(五藏氣) in the last paragraph means 'Sin(神)' and 'Gi(氣)' are inseparably related.

  • IT 기기와 서비스가 보편화되고 있는 시점에 사용자 인터페이스의 중요성은 날이 갈수록 중요해지고 있다. 사용자가 특정한 일을 하기 위해서는 반드시 인터페이스를 통해 시스템과 의사소통해야하며 인터페이스가 얼마나 편리하고 친근한가에 따라 작업의 효율성도 달라진다. 그러므로 인터페이스는 사용자와 시스템 간의 원활한 의사소통을 통해 정확한 업무 수행하기 위한 요소로 매우 중요하다. 이러한 분위기 속에서 다양한 IT 기기가 등장하면서 이에 따른 UI 트렌드도 변화하고 있다. 최근 UI 트렌드로는 대표적으로 Responsive UI(반응형 UI)를 비롯해 Metro UI, Tile Layout 등이 있다. 하지만 이러한 UI만으로는 소상공인들 위한 홍보 영상 제작 플랫폼(이하 Ad-it)에서 홍보 영상을 만들기 위한 미디어 리소스 수집하는 데에 어려움이 존재한다. 소상공인의 주요 연령대가 40~50대라는 점을 감안하여 사용자의 IT 기술 친숙도를 반영하지 않았기 때문이다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 본 논문에서는 홍보 영상 리소스 수집을 위해 소상공인이 쉽게 따라올 수 있도록 단계별로 나누어진 Step UI 개념을 도입하여 홍보 영상 제작에 필요한 미디어 리소스를 수집을 위한 Step UI를 구현하였다.

  • UI 분야 국제 표준화 활동은 ISO/IEC/JTC1/SC35가 주도하며 키보드 자판 배열이나 GUI에서 사용이 되는 아이콘, 위젯, 등의 국제 표준화와 같은 전통적인 활동을 바탕으로, 다양한 언어와 문화의 장벽을 극복하기 위한 국제 표준화 활동, 장애인과 고령자의 접근성 향상 및 보장을 위한 국제 표준화 활동과 직관적이고 풍성한 기능을 가진 미래형 UI에 대한 국제 표준화 활동을 펼치고 있다. SC35 한택위원회는 우리나라가 확보하고 주도하는 미래 지향적인 UI 기술을 국제 표준에 반영하려는 활동에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 본고에서는 SC35 중심의 국제 표준화 활동을 소개하고, 우리나라가 추진 중인 웹 브라우저나 문서 뷰어를 위한 마우스 제스쳐 기반의 UI 국제 표준과 3차원 손 동작인식 기반의 3D UI 국제 표준에 대하여 설명한다. 그리고, 우리정부에서 제정 고시한 장애인들이나 고령자 등을 위한 모바일 기기용 애플리케이션의 접근성 향상 및 보장을 위한 지침을 소개한다.

  • The domestic game market is still on a trend of growth. Particularly, as the demand for mobile games is increased, the mobile version is developed in a growing number of cases even after the launch of the games for PCS. In a bid to search for the effective method of UI design depending on the differences between the platforms, this study analyzed the types of different media in the first place and as the approaches to the UI design based on the affordance concept, implemented on the platform of PCS and implemented on the platform of mobile devices were analyzed as the cases which are the same MMORPG games. Since the differences between the game platforms can cause the variations in the physical size of the screens depending on the environment in which the user interface (UI) is rendered and may often involve the controls implemented by the touch of screens rather than the manipulation based on the keyboard and mouse, they usually give the influences on the direction of UI designs. By analyzing these UI elements based on the affordance concept, it may be possible to find the effective method of UI design in the future.

  • Objective : The purpose of this study is as follows. We classify headache into ten kinds as mentioned in DongUiBoGam(東醫寶鑑), and are going to present each acupuncture & moxibustion treatment. Methods : For the purpose of looking for each treatment, we referred to a. large number of literature for headache treatment from ancient to malearn. Results : The ten kinds of headache have each treatment. above all, In treatment of headache due to middle - headache (正頭痛) and megrim(偏頭痛) have pain in the formable of ache part. Therefore, general point such as GV20, GV23, ST8, TE23, Extra Meridian are used in turn, also wind-cold-headache(風寒頭痛) and many kind of headache such as GV16, LI4, GB20 are mainly used much in turn. Especially BL is in common use. Conclusions : We conclude that ten kinds of lumbago have each different acupuncture & moxibustion points and treatment, so if we follow each treatment we might obtain more higher rate the treatment of headache.
