Improvement with Speed Response of Moving Magnet Type LDM (가동자석형 LDM의 속도응답특성 개선)

  • In this paper, to improve the mechanical response of the Moving Magnet Type LDM, the design of the LDM was optimized to achieve a large force to volume ratio without reduction the force. The model of the LDM and its optimization procedure were developed on the initial assumption that the magnetic circuit is linear. To analyze the magnetic flux distribution throughout the volume of the LDM and the slider back iron, a 2D finite element analysis of the LDM was performed.

  • In this paper, in order to analyzing the thrust force of LDM, it was divided by the vertical force(Fx)and the horizontal force(Fy). The magnet and winding width was determined by analyzing the magnetic flux distribution throughout the airgap of LDM. Using finite-element analysis(FEA), which is the magnetic field analysis, and Proved the validity of design process, also the characteristics of LDM according to the variation of the design parameters of LDM was almost in accord with th experiment results.

  • This paper describes for new design method to improve respones characteristics of moving-magnet type LDM with volume reduction of slider back iron. To achieve the constant thrust of LDM through restraining saturation at the center core of stator excitation coil, double sided stator winding of LDM is proposed. We constructed new type LDM to prove the validity of design process. Analysis results through measurement and simulation of proposed multi-separated winding LDM were proved excellent in response characteristics and static thrust.

  • Basically, autonomous vehicles drive using road and traffic information collected by various sensors. However, it is known that there is a limitation to realizing fully autonomous driving with only such technologies and information. In recent, various efforts are being made to overcome the limitations of sensor-based autonomous driving, and efforts are also underway to utilize more specific and accurate road and traffic information, called local dynamic map (LDM). However, LDM-related data standards and specifications have not yet been sufficiently verified, and research on the spatiotemporal scope of LDM during autonomous driving is extremely limited. Based on this background, the purpose of this study is to identify these limitations through an analysis of previous LDM-related studies and to present a framework for calculating the spatiotemporal activation section of LDM-based road and traffic information.

  • In this paper, to achieve the constant thrust force of the double side moving-magnet type LDM, the new armature winding of the LDM was proposed so as to restrain the saturation of the center yoke without increasing the mass of LDM. According to analyzing the magnetic flux distribution throughout the air-gap of the LDM, the magnet and winding width (1:0.84) was determined. The 2D finite element analysis was performed for force analysis on air-gap.

$O^{2}LDM$ : A Language for Object-Oriented Logic Data Modeling ($O^{2}LDM$ : 객체지향 논리 데이터모형을 위한 언어)

  • In this paper we describe a new data modeling language we call $O^{2}LDM$. $O^{2}LDM$ incorporates features from object-oriented and logic approaches. In $O^{2}LDM$ there is a rich collection of objects organized in a type hierarchy. It is possible to compose queries that involve field selection, function application and other constructs which transcend the usual, strictly syntactic, matching of PROLOG. We give the features of $O^{2}LDM$ and motivate its utility for conceptual modeling. We have a prototype implementation for the language, which we have written in ML. In this paper we describe an executable semantics of the deductive process used in the language. We work some examples to illustrate the expressive power of the language, and compare $O^{2}LDM$ to PROLOG.

  • The study is analyzed the thrust fon:e of moving type Linear DC Motor(MM-LDM). The MM-LDM consists of a stator (platen) and mover (forcer). One of the method for calculating tile thrust of an MM-LDM is to analyze the energy gradient which is determined by the distribution of magnet flux. However, this method is very difficult when used to calculate the thrust force of this kind of LDM. The stored energy in the MM-LDM can be obtained by measuring the self-inductance and mutual-inductance of equivalent circuit of the MM-LOM and this energy gradient gives the thrust. The calculation of thrust force included in this motor shows that the mutual inductance has large influence on the generation of thrust force.

  • LDM, easy to minute position control, is using as X-Y plotter or other recording instruments. Brushless LDM has better properties than the conventional Brush type LDM in many aspects. This paper presents magnetic flux density distribution by FEM and a way to reduce thrust force ripple particurary in low speed drive. And we apply this method to a real mode of LDM. This LDM is operated by IBM-PC host computer and uses rotary encoder to make position signal.

  • In this paper, we present the design procedure and analysis the fundamental characteristics for Linear DC motor using permeance method and finite element method. Designed LDM is made of two permanent magnets, three iron core and amateur windings. For the design the LDM, first of all it is nessary to calculate the air gap flux density and thrust force, after that to determine core size, the numbers of winding turns, winding width, motor cross section area and losses in the coil. Also, we analysis the fundamental characteristics for implemented LDM according to proposed design procedure, and we find that the implemented LDM generated constant thrust force for costant current as long as iron of core is not saturated. Finally, we find that the proposed design procedure in this paper is effective to design and implementation of LDM.

  • LDM(Linear DC Motor) are used in high speed, high-precision position control system. Because of these advatages, LDM has already used in the motor of pen-recorder, magnetic-disk devices. Under the limited dimension, we propose the design method of LDM by magnetic circuit. In this paper, a relation between the thrust constant and size of a LDM that is moving coil type with unipolar is described, which is defined as a simple relational equation. To maximize the rate of thrust to the volume of LDM, the magnetic flux density in the yoke is adjusted to the value of magnetic equation By the magnetic field analysis(FEM), the validity of the equation is confirmed.
