ON FUZZY IDBALS OF LIE ALGEBRAS

  • The fuzzification of an ideal in a Lie algebra is considered. Using a level subset of a fuzzy subset of a Lie algebra, we give a characterization of a fuzzy ideal, and using a family of ideals of a Lie algebra, we establish a fuzzy ideal. With relation to the ascending chain of ideals, a characterization for the set of values of any fuzzy ideal to be a well-ordered subset of the closed unit interval [0,1] is stated.

  • The object of this paper is to study($\sigma,\;\tau$)-Lie ideals in semi-prime rings with derivation. Main result is the following theorem: Let R be a semi-prime ring with 2-torsion free, $\sigma$ and $\tau$ two automorphisms of R such that $\sigma\tau=\tau\sigma$=, U be both a non-zero ($\sigma,\;\tau$)-Lie ideal and subring of R. If $d^2(U)=0$, then d(U)=0 where d a non-zero derivation of R such that $d\sigma={\sigma}d,\;d\tau={\tau}d$.

SOME RESULTS ON GENERALIZED LIE IDEALS WITH DERIVATION

  • Let R be a prime ring with characteristic not two. U a (${\sigma},{\tau}$)-left Lie ideal of R and d : R$\rightarrow$R a non-zero derivation. The purpose of this paper is to invesitigate identities satisfied on prime rings. We prove the following results: (1) [d(R),a]=0$\Leftrightarrow$d([R,a])=0. (2) if $(R,a)_{{\sigma},{\tau}}$=0 then $a{\in}Z$. (3) if $(R,a)_{{\sigma},{\tau}}{\subset}C_{{\sigma},{\tau}}$ then $a{\in}Z$. (4) if $(U,a){\subset}Z$ then $a^2{\in}Z\;or\;{\sigma}(u)+{\tau}(u){\in}Z$, for all $u{\in}U$. (5) if $(U,R)_{{\sigma},{\tau}}{\subset}C_{{\sigma},{\tau}}$ then $U{\subset}Z$.

LIE IDEALS IN TRIDIAGONAL ALGEBRA ALG𝓛

  • We give examples of Lie ideals in a tridiagonal algebra $Alg\mathcal{L}_{\infty}$ and study some properties of Lie ideals in $Alg\mathcal{L}_{\infty}$. We also investigate relationships between Lie ideals in $Alg\mathcal{L}_{\infty}$. Let k be a fixed natural number. Let $\mathcal{A}$ be a linear manifold in $Alg\mathcal{L}_{\infty}$ such that $T_{(2k-1,2k)}=0$ for all $T{\in}\mathcal{A}$. Then $\mathcal{A}$ is a Lie ideal if and only if $T_{(2k-1,2k-1)}=T_{(2k,2k)}$ for all $T{\in}\mathcal{A}$.

  • Let R be a 3!-torsion free noncommutative semiprime ring, U a Lie ideal of R, and let $D:R{\rightarrow}R$ be a Jordan derivation. If [D(x), x]D(x) = 0 for all $x{\in}U$, then D(x)[D(x), x]y - yD(x)[D(x), x] = 0 for all $x,y{\in}U$. And also, if D(x)[D(x), x] = 0 for all $x{\in}U$, then [D(x), x]D(x)y - y[D(x), x]D(x) = 0 for all $x,y{\in}U$. And we shall give their applications in Banach algebras.

LEFT-INVARIANT FLAT RIEMANNIAN STRUCTURES ON LIE GROUPS

  • A left-invariant flat Riemannian connection on a Lie group makes its Lie algebra a left symmetric algebra compatible with an inner product. The left symmetric algebra is decomposed into trivial ideal and a subalgebra of e(l). Using this result, the Lie group is embedded isomorphically into the direct product of O(l) $\times$ $R^{k}$ for some nonnegative integers l and k.

  • Let ${\mathcal{H}}$ be an infinite dimensional separable Hilbert space with a fixed orthonormal base $\{e_1,e_2,{\cdots}\}$. Let L be the subspace lattice generated by the subspaces $\{[e_1],[e_1,e_2],[e_1,e_2,e_3],{\cdots}\}$ and let $Alg{\mathcal{L}}$ be the algebra of bounded operators which leave invariant all projections in ${\mathcal{L}}$. Let p and q be natural numbers (p < q). Let ${\mathcal{A}}$ be a linear manifold in $Alg{\mathcal{L}}$ such that $T_{(p,q)}=0$ for all T in ${\mathcal{A}}$. If ${\mathcal{A}}$ is a Lie ideal, then $T_{(p,p)}=T_{(p+1,p+1)}={\cdots}=T_{(q,q)}$ and $T_{(i,j)}=0$, $p{\eqslantless}i{\eqslantless}q$ and i < $j{\eqslantless}q$ for all T in ${\mathcal{A}}$.
