쇄석기의 충격하중 정량화에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Impact Load Quantification of the Jaw Crusher)

  • Jaw crusher is a device that breaks rock collected from mines or quarries to produce aggregates of the size desired by user. A representative method for measuring load is to measure them by attaching force sensors directly to the part where the load is generated. However, the direct method has many limitations such as high-impact loads generation in equipment or space constraints, sensor capacities and costs. Therefore, Transfer Path Analysis (TPA) was used to indirectly measure impact loads by attaching acceleration sensors. In this study, both direct and TPA methods were used to measure the impact load of Jaw crusher. This study finally quantifies the impact of the load generated by the Jaw crusher using direct method and TPA method, and comparing the impact load measured calculated the derive the error rate.

  • Deformability of RC members in shear is controlled by governing failure modes and material strength. Shear strength of members in D-regions has been explained by a direct load path (direct strut or arch action) and indirect load path (fan action or truss action). Indirect load path including truss action and fan action rely on bond along tension ties. Generally, superposition of two actions results in total shear strength when shear failure modes control. The ultimate deformation depends on controlling failure modes and thereby, their force transfer patterns. Proposed models are capable of explaining of limited deformability of RC members in D-regions.

TPA 기법을 이용한 건물 내 설비 동하중 산정 (Estimation of Dynamic Load of the Utility in Building by TPA Method)

  • The facility equipments generate dynamic force on building floor and the force can be measured with force transducer. However, this method depends on the measuring capacity or range of sensor, or mounts installation condition of equipments. Because of this restricting condition on force measuring system, this paper suggests a indirect method, the TPA(transfer path analysis) method, that produces a closely approximate dynamic force of equipments. This method calculates the dynamic force by using transfer response function. Firstly, the calculated dynamic force of impact load and continuous load was respectively compared with the sensor-measured value to examine the accuracy of TPA method. After that, the dynamic force and response induced by large facility equipments - a cooling tower, AHU and a large ventilator - were calculated by TPA method and the validity of these value were examined.

  • 이 논문은 반복-수평력을 받는 프리캐스트 기둥-RC 기초 Anchor 접합부의 반복-수평력에 대한 내력 특성을 규명하기 위함이다. 본 연구는 하부 기초에 프리캐스트 콘크리트 기둥과 기초를 Anchor식으로 접합한 콘크리트 구조체가 정확한 응력전달 경로 및 파괴 메커니즘에 있어서 기존의 콘크리트-강재 연결부와 어떠한 차이가 있는지 제시한다. 반복-수평력 작용하의 철근의 인발력 실험결과는 프리캐스트 기둥-RC 기초 Anchor 시공에 필요한 철근의 최소 필요 삽입 깊이를 제시한다. 또한, 실험을 통해 제시된 응력 전달 경로 및 파괴 메커니즘을 제품별 메뉴얼에 제시되어 있는 메커니즘과 비교, 검토함으로서 접합부의 명확한 응력전달 경로 및 파괴 메커니즘을 시공자의 요구 성능에 맞게 제시한다. 그러므로 본 연구를 통해 프리캐스트 콘크리트 기둥의 정확한 주근의 개수, 공칭직경, 정착 길이 등에 대한 최적의 설계 조건을 제시함으로써, 시공 시 이들에 대한 정확한 데이터를 제공한다.

Investigation of load transfer along interfaces of jacketed square columns

  • This study deals with a numerical investigation of load transfer along interfaces of jacketed columns using finite element models. Appropriate plasticity and constitutive models are used to simulate the response of concrete and steel bars. Experimental data were used to calibrate the simulation of mechanical characteristics. The different compressive strength of core and jacket concrete, the confinement ratio, the dowels' diameter size and the load pattern shapes were considered. The path diagrams along the interfaces elucidate the areas around the dowel bars where due to stress concentration plastic hinges and intense discontinuities are created. The stress flow also depicts the contribution of confinement of the jacketed area to the overall resonant load capacity of the core column. The scope of the research is to identify and quantify the shear transfer along the interfaces of strengthened elements.

  • A practical process to optimize engine mounts on construction equipment is presented in this research. Transmitted force from the engine is estimated by using stiffness of the mount rubber which varies with frequency, amplitude and pre-load, and by the engine excitation force that comes from piston mass and gas pressure and so on. The transmitted force is measured through TPA(Transfer Path Analysis) and is then compared with the estimated force. The optimum mount position and stiffness are solved using MATLAB. The result shows the improvement on engine mount vibration.

  • Employing classical beam theory for the design of RBS seismic steel moment connections was brought into question in this study, Both the experimental strain data and analytical results from the calibrated finite element analysis confirmed that the shear transfer mechanism in the RBS connection is completely different from that as predicted by classical beam theory Plausible explanations of a higher incidence of brittle fractures observed in the specimens with bolted-webs were presented. It was pointed out that the practice of providing web bolts uniformly along the beam depth is not consistent with the load path identified by both experimental and analytical results. More rational bolted-web details were proposed based on the identified principal load path,.

  • The ride quality investigation is on-going topic in the car industry since its global standard has not evaluated and it is difficult to point out one part that hinders the ride quality. Since the traditional transfer path analysis that is widely used in car industry to investigate the ride quality requires a lot of test time to process the full data so that there are problems to conduct in industry. Based on these disadvantages, new approaches have developed such as OPAX(operational path analysis with eXogeneous inputs) and OTPA(operational transfer path analysis) for last decades. The OTPA only requires the operational data for evaluate the contribution of vibration sources and the OPAX has advantage of using parametric model to estimate the operating load and needs a minimum set of extra tests with excitation. In this paper, for evaluating the hindrance of ride quality two methods are used and the result is compared with another result of a car having higher ride quality.

  • 본 논문은 기계시스템의 하중추정 기법 및 적용사례 소개가 목적이다. 이를 위해 진동기반 하중추정 기법의 이론적 배경 및 하중정량화 절차를 구체적으로 설명하였다. 또한 충격하중 및 진동이 발생하는 천공장비에 적용하여 진동기반 하중추정 기법의 적용성과 한계점을 분석하고 이에 대한 대응책에 대해 논의하였다. 마지막으로, 하중추정 기술의 추가 연구의 필요성을 토의하고, 새로운 충격하중 측정기술 개발을 위한 방법론을 제안하였다.
