  • 토양에서 분리한 Streptomyces nigrifaciens GMT-497호무터 G(+) bacteria에만 강한 항균활성을 갖는 항생물질 MT-497을 용매추출, silica column chromatography와 재결정화를 통하여 분리 정제하였다. MT-497의 UV, 융점, 원소분석, IR spectrum, $^1H-NMR$과 구성아미노산 분석을 통해 actinocin chromophore와 threonine, proline, methyl valine, sarcosine, aspartic acid로 구성된 peptide을 갖는 actinomvcin계열의 항생물질로 동정하였다.

  • Identification of the Actinomycetes isolate strain No. 497 producing an actinomycin antibiotic MT-497 was performed by ISP and chemotaxonomic methods. The strain Nu. 497 formed various shapes of sclerotia and smooth surface spore. Menaquinone MK-9 ($H_6, H_8$) and iso-, anteiso-branched $C_{15}C_{17}$ fatty acids were detected from whole cell extract. The wall chemotype of stram No. 497 was decided as wall chemotype I from the analysis of DAP isomer, peptidoglycan type and sugar pattern. From these morphological, chemotaxonomic characteristics and analysis of various physiological characteristics. the strain No. 497 was identified as Streptomyces nigrifaciens.

  • The venus clam, Ruditapes philippinarum, is an aquaculture shellfish mainly distributed in an intertidal zone of East Asia including Korea, China and Japan. The morphological variation of this species is great. In fact, two of the most popular markers used in molecular evolution, mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) and nuclear ribosomal DNA (rDNA), have quite different properties, which could translate into different consequences of mutation, drift, migration and selection on patterns of geographical variation and molecular divergence. 지리산 나비의 고도에 따른 다양성과 서식 분포 (Altitudinal diversity and distribution of butterflies inhabiting Mt. Jirisan, South Korea)

  • 이 연구에서 지리산의 낮은 고도에서부터 높은 고도까지 나비의 종다양성, 고도에 따른 생태적 특성, 우점종의 고도 분포에 대해 알아보았다. 나비는 총 5과 58종 769개체의 나비를 확인하였다. 낮은 고도와 높은 고도에서 종다양성은 높게 나타나고 있었다. 군집분석을 통해 3개(낮은 고도, 중간 고도, 높은 고도)로 구분하였으며, 낮은 고도에 비해 높은 고도에서는 서식지 범위가 좁은 종의 비율이 높았으며, 단식성 나비의 비율이 높게 나타나고, 다화성 나비의 비율이 높게 나타났다. 배추흰나비(Pieris rapae)는 600m 이하의 고도에서 서식하고, 큰흰줄표범나비(Argynnis ruslana), 먹그늘나비(Lethe diana)는 900 m 이상의 고도에 서식하며, 특히 큰흰줄표범나비(Argynnis ruslana)는 1,000m 이상에서 서식하고 있었다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 지속적인 모니터링 실시를 통해 지리산에서 기후변화에 따른 나비의 고도 분포 변화 및 다양성 변화 양상을 확인할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

시가지내 산악경관의 시점 높이별 조망 특성 - 청주시 우암산을 대상으로 - (The View Character of Mountainscape of a City according to Visual Point Level - In a Case of Mt. Uam -)

  • In this research, we have performed a T-test to see how the relationship between dependent variable or visual point level and independent variable or visual quantity is in order to clear up the correlation between pattern of visual point and visual quantity by the constituents of a view from a different visual point level and the results are as follows: 1) In case of the character of Mt. Uam landscape of the city, Uamsan is set as a fixed point and about a direction of view(D), the north is a datum point from which the range of direction is distributed within 1800 westwardly and the visual range(R) is also within 2000m. An elevation is an average of 7.40 and the average story of the buildings is 3.85. Here the height of a story is about 4m so the average of the visual point difference is estimated at 15.4m. 2) The type of visual point is divided into the intersection group and the front of the highly used public buildings group. Double intersection types account for about 78.80%(52 spots) which forms a majority part of LCP. 3) The analysis of the difference of visual point level divided by eye level and that of the top of the buildings has been proved that there's a sharp difference resulted from t-test at 1 % significant level. The significant difference of elevation from height difference(l5.93m), however, has not been shown. 4) From the result of T-test about visual quantity by the elements of a view from a different visual point level, the visual quantity of mountain(VQM), sky(VQS), ground(VQG) is significant at about 1% each and that of building(VQB) is at about 5%. The difference in visual quantity of a mountain by the visual point level is at about 4% which can meet a marginal level of LCP necessary for evaluation of mountainscape.

Bi2O3 첨가량에 따른 저온소결 PbTiO3계 세라믹스의 유전 및 압전특성 (Dielectric and Piezoelectric Characteristics of Low Temperature Sintering PbTiO3 System Ceramics with amount of Bi2O3 Addition)

  • In this study, in order to develop low temperature sintering ceramics for thickness vibration mode multilayer piezoelectric transformer, $PbTiO_3$ system ceramics were fabricated using $Na_2CO_3,\;Li_2CO_3,\;MnO_2\;and\;Bi_2O_3$ as sintering aids and their dielectric and piezoeletric properties were investigated according to the amount of $Bi_2O_3$ addition. At the sintering temperature of $900^{\circ}C\;and\;Bi_2O_3$ addition of 0.1 wt%, density, grain size, thickness vibration mode eletromechanical coupling factor($k_t$), thickness vibration mode mechanical quality factor($Q_{mt}$) and dielecteic constant(${\varepsilon}_r$) showed the optimum value of $6.94g/cm^3,\;2.413{\mu}m$, 0.497, 3,162 and 209, respectively, for thickness vibration mode multilayer piezoelectric transformer application.

부산광역시 장산 일대의 관속식물상 (Vascular Plants of Mt. Jangsan in Busan Metropolitan City)

  • This study was to carried out to survey and analyse the vascular plants of Mt. Jangsan, Busan Metropolitan City, South Korea. The vascular plants were surveyed from June to October, 2019. The numbers of vascular plants in this site were 497 taxa and comprised of 106 families, 306 genera, 454 species, 7 subspecies, 29 varieties, 5 forms and 2 hybrids. The planted species were 16 taxa including Ginkgo biloba, Cedrus deodara, Zea mays and so on. In this study, 309 taxa were identified, including Selaginella rossii, Cyrtomium falcatum, Cephalanthera falcata and so on. The rare plants were 4 taxa including Hololeion maximowiczii(EN), Ottelia alismoides(LC), Iris ensata Thunb. var. spontanea(LC) and Sagittaria trifolia(DD). All rare plants were found in Jangsan Wetland. The Korean endemic plants were 9 taxa including Populus × tomentiglandulosa, Hemerocallis hakuunensis, Hosta minor and so on. The floristic target species were totally 53 taxa, which were 2 taxa of grade IV, 11 taxa of grade III, 6 taxa of grade II and 34 taxa of grade I. The alien plants were 58 taxa including Rumex crispus, Ipomoea purpurea, Helianthus tuberosus, Vulpia myuros and so on.

균형상살 검출 알고리즘에서 검출과 관련된 설계변수의 민감도 해석 몇 최적화 (Sensitivity Analysis and Optimization of Design Variables Related to an Algorithm for Loss of Balance Detection)

  • This study suggested an optimized algorithm for detecting the loss of balance(LOB) in the seated position. And the sensitivity analysis was performed in order to identify the role of each design variable in the algorithm. The LOB algorithm consisted of data processing of measured signals, an internal model of the central nervous system and a control error anomaly(CEA) detector. This study optimized design variables of a CEA detector to obtain improved values of the success rate(SR) of detecting the LOB and the margin time(MT) provided for preventing the falling. Nine healthy adult volunteers were involved in the experiments. All the subjects were asked to balance their body in a predescribed seated posture with the rear legs of a four-legged wooden chair. The ground reaction force from the right leg was measured from the force plate while the accelerations of the chair and the head were measured from a couple of piezoelectric accelerometers. The measured data were processed to predict the LOB using a detection algorithm. Variables S2, h2 and hd are related to the detector: S2 represents a data selecting window, h2 a time shift and hd an operating period of the LOB detection algorithm. S2 was varied from 0.1 to 10 sec with an increment of 0.1 sec, and both h2 and hd were varied from 0.01 to 1.0 sec with an increment of 0.01 sec. It was found that the SR and MT were increased by up to 9.7% and 0.497 sec comparing with the previously published case when the values of S2, h2 and hd were set to 4.5, 0.3 and 0.2 sec, respectively. Also the results of sensitivity analysis showed that S2 and h2 had considerable influence on the SR while these variables were not so sensitive to the MT.

USLE모형과 대체법을 이용한 밭농사의 토양유실 저감기능 계량화 평가 (Evaluation on national environmental functionality of farming on soil loss using the USLE and replacement cost method)

  • 밭농사에 다원적기능중의 하나로 알려져 있는 토양유실저감기능에 대하여 기존에 보고된 결과를 수정 보완하였으며, 그 얻은 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 우리나라 밭농사의 토양유실량을 USLE모형을 이용하여 계산하였으며, 각 인자별 값은 다음과 같다. 강우인자(R)값은 429.4, 토양침식성인자(K)값은 0.15, 지형인자(LS)값은 1.72, 작물인자(C)값은 0.275, 토양관리인자(P)값은 0.856이었다. 2. USLE모형에 의한 우리나라 밭농사의 토양유실량은 ha당 연간 26.1톤이었으나, 나지토양의 경우에는 ha당 연간 110.8톤으로서 밭농사에 의한 토양유실량은 나지에 비하여 23% 수준이었으며, 연간 밭농사는 나지토양에 비하여 84.7톤의 토양유실량 저감기능이 있었다. 이것을 밭면적전체로는 연간 62,650천톤에 해당되었다. 3. 밭농사에 의한 토양유실저감량을 객토단가로 환산할 경우 연간 4,974억원에 해당하였다. 4. 토양유실 세부모형중 LS값이 1.72로 매우 높았는데, 밭농사의 공익기능을 제고하기 위해서는 등고선, 대상재배 등 농경적인 접근과 계단전 등의 전환 등 농토목적인 접근방식이 필요하다고 생각된다.

New Record of the Bigtooth Pomfret Brama orcini (Pisces: Bramidae) from Korea

  • A single specimen of Brama orcini (267.0 mm standard length, SL), belonging to the family Bramidae, was collected by purse seine from Jeju Strait, Korea, in December 2013. The specimen is characterized by having 16 gill rakers, 54 lateral line scales, and 36 vertebrae. B. orcini is distinguished from the most similar species, Brama japonica, by the number of lateral line scales (52-54 in B. orcini vs. 65-75 in B. japonica). We propose a new Korean name "Keun-bi-neul-sae-da-rae" for B. orcini.
