다중 모델을 이용한 비선형 시스템의 예측제어에 관한 연구 (Nonlinear Predictive Control with Multiple Models)

  • 본 논문에서는 신경회로망 기반의 다중 모델을 이용한 예측제어 방법에 간하여 기술한다. 플랜트의 특정한 피라미터 값들에 대해 다중의 모델을 구성하고, 이들 중 현재 시간에서 최적의 예측 값을 제공하는 모델을 스위칭 기법으로 선택한다. 선택된 모델의 예측 값을 기반으로 비선형 프로그래밍 방법으로 현재 시간에서의 제어 입력 값을 구하여 예측제어를 수행한다. 제안한 방법을 시간지연 값이 변하거나 매개변수 값이 가변하는 시스템에 적용하여 그 유용성을 보이고, 부하가 변동하는 자기부상열차 시스템의 부상제어에 이용한 모의 실험 결과를 보인다.

  • 초전도 현상은 절대온도 부근에서 전기적 저항이 사라지고 자기부양 효과를 보이는 등의 장점 때문에 다양한 분야에서 적용이 시도되고 있지만 초전도 임계온도를 실현하기 위한 어려움 때문에 실용화에 많은 어려움을 겪어 왔다. 하지만 최근 $30^{\circ}K$ 이상에서 초전도 현상을 보이는 고온 초전도체가 발견됨으로서 다양한 분야에 대한 적용연구가 시도되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 최근 각광받고 있는 고온 초전도체의 전력계통 적용 사례들은 조사, 분석하여 그 가능성과 문제점들을 살펴보고자 한다.

자기부상열차의 주행 환경을 고려한 집전자 마모도 평가 (Estimation of Power Collector Wear Considering the Operating Environment of a Maglev)

  • The wear of the third track power collector is one of the essential check factors for safe train operation. Rapid wear of the current collector accelerates the line of the catenary. In addition, the arc generated when the catenary line is turned off causes a malfunction in the minute portion of the catenary line, thereby shortening the life of the catenary line. In this paper, to analyze the mechanical wear of the current collector during driving according to the environmental factor of the Maglev(magnetic levitation train), it was divided into dry season and wet season. the wear of metallized collector, copper alloy collector and carbon collector were measured and compared with each other. The wear rate was measured according to the position of the wire, the position of the power collector and the position per hour. Microscopic photographs of the cross section and surface of the power collector were measured. The electrical currents of the metallized collector, copper alloy collector and carbon collector were measured.

  • The construction of the transportation history database system is to serve the scheduling and seat inventory controling. Recently, lots of countries have been faced with the advance era because of the new railway transportation system, like the high speed railway and/or magnetic levitation vehicle system. This can be reasonably translated as those of operators are willing to provide the more various and high quality schedule to the customer. Those operators' these ideas make possible to forecast that scheduling process is going to be complicated more and more The seat inventory control, so to speak Yield Management System(YMS), goes a long way to improve the total passenger revenue at the railway business. The YMS forecasts the number of the last reservation value(DCP# END) and recommends the optimal values on the seat sales. The history database system contains infra-data(ie, train, seat, sales) that will be the foundation of scheduling and seat inventory control application programs. The development of the application programs are reserved to the next step. The database system is installed on the pc platform(IBM compatible), using the DB2(RDBMS). And at next step, the platform and DBMS will be considered whether they can meet the users' requirement or not.

  • This paper presents the overall measurement system for on-line test of super-speed maglev train. The super-speed maglev train is composed of vehicle, propulsion, power, and so on. In order to evaluate and diagnose for sub-system, we made overall measurement system. Just like the other measurement system, it is designed to distributed type. The hardware is consist of SCXI, PXI, Terminal, UPS, and so forth. It is installed on a train, control room, power room and track to collect lots of signals. The software controls hardware system, monitors main data such as inverter current, converter voltage. Using the measurement system, we evaluated a lot of performances for vehicle, track, and so forth. Through the developed system have improved reliability and safety for super-speed maglev train.

단결정 $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-y}$ 벌크 초전도체 제조를 위한 경제적 공정의 개발 (Development of a Cost-Effective Process for the Fabrication of Single Grain $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-y}$ Bulk Superconductors)

  • To reduce the processing cost of the single grain REBCO (RE: Rare-earth elements) bulk superconductors, a cost-effective process should be developed. One possible way of developing the cost-effective process is the use of low-cost precursor powders. In this study, the single grain YBCO superconductors were fabricated using a home made powder. $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-y}$ (Y123) powders were synthesized at $850-900^{\circ}C$ in air by the powder calcination method with repeated crushing and heat treatment steps. The processing parameters for the fabrication of single grain Y123 bulk superconductors, $T_{max}$ (maximum temperature), $T_p$ (peritectic temperature) and a cooling rate through $T_p$ were optimized. To enhance the flux pinning capacity of the single grain Y123 samples, $Y_2BaCuO_5$ (Y211) particles were dispersed in the Y123 matrix by adding $Y_2O_3$ powder to the calcined Y123 powder. Applying the optimized processing condition, the single grain Y123 superconductors with $T_c=91\;K$ and $J_c=1.5{\times}10^4\;A/cm^2$ at 2 T were successfully fabricated using a home made powder. The levitation forces and trapped magnetic field at 77 K measured using a Nd-B-Fe permanent magnet of 5300 G were 47 N and 3000 G, respectively, which are comparable to those obtained for the samples fabricated using a commercial grade Y123 powders.

극저온 환경에서의 피로균열 선단의 온도상승에 관한 연구 (A Study on Temperature Rising near Fatigue Crack Tip at Cryogenic Temperature)

  • The structural materials for cryogenic technology have been recently developed to support the many modern large-scale application from superconducting magnets for nuclear fusion reactor, magnetic levitation railway to LNG tankers. However it is pointed out that quenching phenomenon is one of the serious problems for the integrity of these applications, which is mainly attributed to the rapid temperature rising in the material due to some extrinsic factors of structures. From the viewpoint of fracture mechanics, it is therefore very important to clarify the mechanism of temperature rising of structural material due to cyclic loading at cryogenic temperature. From this purpose, fatigue test was carried out for high manganese steel at liquid helium temperature(4.2K) using triangular stress waveform to identify both the mechanism of temperature rising near crack tip and the effect of loading stress waveform on temperature rising near crack tip and the effect of loading stress waveforms on temperature rising. As the results, two types of temperature rising, that is, regular and burst types were observed. And a periodical temperature rising corresponding to the stress waveforms was also found. The peaks of the temperature rising were recorded near both the maximum and the minimum values of the applied stress. The sudden temperature rises, which indicated the higher values than those of periodical temperature rises under the repetition of stress, were observed at the final region of crack growth. It was shown that the peak values of the temperature rising increased with stress intensity factor range.

영구자석형 스러스트 베어링의 최적 설계 (Optimal Design of Permanent Magnet Thrust Bearings)

  • 본 논문에서는 환형 영구자석을 이용한 스러스트 베어링의 최적설계에 대하여 기술하였다. 영구자석형 스러스트 베어링은 두 조의 환형 영구자석으로 이루어지며, 한 조의 영구자석이 다른 한 조의 영구자석 내부에위치한다. 영구자석간의 축방향 변위 (엇갈림)에 의해 축방향 힘이 발생하고 이를 통해 스러스트 베어링 역할을 하게 된다. 최소한의 영구자석으로 베어링 부하용량을 만족하는 베어링 설계 파라미터를 구하기 위해 본 논문에서는 등가전류판 방법을 이용하여 해석적 설계식을 유도하고, 적절한 제한 조건을 설정하여 최적 설계를 수행하였다. 최적 설계 결과는 3 차원 유한요소해석을 통해 검증하였다. 본 논문에서 고려한 축방향 배열과 Halbach 배열의 스러스트 베어링 중 Halbach 배열이 축방향 배열에 비해 동일한 부피의 영구자석으로 더 큰 부하용량을 얻을 수 있음을 확인하였다. 등가전류판 방법의 유효성을 3 차원 유한요소해석을 통해 검증하였고, 축방향 배열보다Halbach 배열이 등가전류판 방법의 가정에 좀 더 민감하게 영향을 받는 것을 알 수 있었다.
