An Empirical Study on Education Process Improvement for Effective Job Training of Construction Safety Manager (건설안전관리자 직무교육 과정 개선에 관한 연구)

  • Industrial disasters cause lots of damages from individuals to companies and country. Especially, damages caused by constructional disasters take very large portion in the whole industry and are accompanied by huge personal physical damages. For the prevention of disasters, roles of safety manager are very important and especially, effects of disaster prevention can be changed by occupational ability of construction safety manager. To improve job abilities of safety manager, job education is very important. This research suggested a model for job education management of construction safety manager and proposed improvements as a study on improvement of curriculum for vitalization of job education of construction safety manager so as to improve occupational ability of safety manager. To achieve them, this research examined standard and operation status of current job education of safety manager and the problems and suggested a model materializing job educational contents as a measure to vitalize job education system of safety manager.

A Study for Professionalizlng of Multi-family Housing Manager (공동주택관리사의 전문직화를 위한 탐색적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the difficulty of doing job among housing manager. It might be Provide the basic opinion which could be used for professionalizing of housing manager. The survey had been made 156 housing manager in managerial situation of multi-family housing for sale(so called condominium). The analytical methods adopted in this study were frequency, percentage, 1-test, one-way ANOVA, post-hoc estimation(Scheffe test), correlation by the SPSS 10.1 for Windows program. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, it was revealed that many housing manager thought about Residents' Committee In the negative. Because housing manager considered that Residents' Committee interfered in housing manager's business, on the other hand they set a low value on Residents' Committee disposition and its knowledge about housing management. Second, it was founded that a lot of housing manager felt uneasy about his employment for the reason mentioned. Actually Residents' Committee exercised its influence over hiring as well as dismissing housing manager in any management alternatives. Third, it was necessary that synthetic plan might be prepared for housing manager to educate, to re-educate, to furnish information etc. about related in housing management for the specialization of housing management.

  • This is succeeding Study of 'A Study on the Basic Framework and Program Development for Establishment of Institutional Household Manager System -Focused on the Curriculum'. This study focused on the needs analysis of manager and user of institutional household. Data were collected by individual interview, from 47 managers and 84 users of institutional household in Seoul, Pusan & Kyungnam, Taegu & Kyungbuk province. The results were as follows; there were differences in the demands of manager and user of institutional household management, manager's needs of Institutional Household Manager lower than user, the manager of Domitory. Training Institute showed higher than Nursery School and Public Welfare Facilities.

  • 효율적인 스트리밍을 지원하기 위하여 JNI(Java Native Interface)를 이용한 플레이어를 구현한다. 미디어 플레이어는 전달 관리기, A/V 디코더, 렌더링 모듈, 자바 그래픽 라이브러리로 구성하고, 렌더링 모듈은 JNI Export Manager, Java Scene Manager, Drawing Manager,NJI API로 구성한다. 디코딩 된 스트림은 자바가 읽어들일 수 있는 객체 타입으로 변환하는 JNI Export Manager와 장면 구성하는 Java Scene Manager, 자바 그래픽 라이브러리를 이용하여 실제 화면에 드로잉하는 Drawing Manager를 통하여 재생한다. 본 논문은 Java Scene Manager를 Native 영역에서 처리하여 디코딩 된 스트림 객체를 전달받아 RGB변환하고, 장면 구성정보를 이용하여 장면을 구성하여 최종적으로 JNI Export Manager에게 전달한다. 따라서 장면을 구성하기 위한 정보를 JNI API를 통하여 전달할 필요가 없으므로 그 만큼의 성능 향상을 보이고, Native 영역에서 처리하므로 자바 언어에서 처리하는 것보다 효율적이다. 이는 성능 비교표를 통하여 재생시간 향상을 보인다.

A Study on the Effect of Project Sponsor Roles and Project Manager Competencies on the Project Performance Quality (프로젝트 스폰서 역할과 프로젝트 관리자 역량이 프로젝트 성과 품질에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: This paper seeks to analyze the relationship between project sponsor roles and project manager competencies which may account for project performance quality. Methods: After an extensive literature review, the structural equation modeling was conducted test the research model. The data was collected from project manager training course attendees by the questionnaire. Results: The results of structural equation modeling show that project sponsor roles effect on project manager competencies. Project manager competencies have a positive effect on project performance quality. Conclusion: The authors demonstrate that project sponsor external roles are related positively to project performance quality. And project manager professionalism has a positive effect on project manager communication. A number of significant findings are reported including the empirical verification that project sponsor roles, and project manager competencies may all be directly related to project performance quality.

  • The Gateway Server Authorization System(GSAS) presented in this thesis is a database authorization system. GSAS is responsible for user\`s authorization, and privilege management, audit service. Only users that are filtered in GSAS can access the DBMS(Data Base Management System) through middleware. GSAS is located at the DBMS and already contains an authorization record for user accessing a specific DBMS. GSAS on consists of several components, namely an authorization manager, a privilege manager, and an audit manager. As an authorization manager and a privilege manager can only approve a pass at the same time, a user can get accessibility for DBMS.

  • This study is primarily concerned with the apartment house manager's duty of korea and England. The results are as follows ; 1. In England, detailed duty is prescribed to apartment house managers, where as Korea has not specific prescription. Therefore, we suggest 7 items as the management duty of apartment house manager. Namely, that is inhabitant management, external duty management, business management, account management, estate and public institution management, environment management and safety management. 2. In England, apartment house manager is executing their duty before moving into. But in Korea, their management duty is executed after moving into. There are problems which each of them(inhabitant-user-manager) has plural responsibility.

  • An effort has been made in this paper to measure the project manager's reaction to R&D project evaluation and present the useful information related to rebuilding an R&D evaluation system. Results of this study show that project manager's reaction is related to the selection of reasonable items for evaluation, the rater's expertise, the project manager's participation in evaluation process and so on. Accordingly, managers of the research institute have to set up the evaluation system after deeply considering these results.

  • In this paper, we present an object-oriented stereotactic radiosurgery planning system, which accepts medical images such as CT and angiography, transforms the coordinates to a reference frame coordinate, calculates dose distributions, and finally displays isodose curves over the images. The user finds an adequate one for radiosurgeries after performing computer simulations on different treatment parameter sets. The object-oriented design concept was fully applied to the system composed of seven manager objects of different classes: a patient information manager, a user-interface manager, a coordinate transformation manager, a blackboard manager, a dose calculation manager, an isodose curve display manager, and a report manager. All the user interactions are carried out through the use of mouse buttons. The performance of the system was verified by four physicians and two medical physicists, and now is being used in two clinical sites.

  • Security and Secretary Service is the man who maintains safe condition of boss', following him during all daily schedule and help the boss display his supreme business abilities, settling various affairs The purpose of this study is to examine the role of Security and Secretary Service. To understand the role of Security and Secretary Service, interviews with Security and Secretary Service's. synthesizing records inquire and interviews with present workers, was analyzed. As results of the study, the open coding of grounded theory was 85 categories, 22 lower categories, and 13 upper categories; 7 roles of Security and Secretary Service types out of 13 upper categories were attained. Based on this, from the axial coding a paradigm model related to categories was produced and selective coding the core category, story line development and type were analyzed. Therefore, Security and Secretary Service plays roles: Office manager, Training manager, Information manager, Customer relations manager, Facilitator, Health manager, and Safety manager. Compared with Office secretary, It is said that Health manager, and Safety manager are distinguishing roles. Through the coding process based on grounded theory. For this, based on the writer's theoretical sensitivity and constant comparative analysis, theses as well as writing in each field, data from serial publications and others, the statements of interview subjects were constantly compared and analyzed. Based on these analyses, this study suggests the following: First, the intimidate sample survey is need. Second, professional educational content during the training process of Security and Secretary Services should be strengthened. Third, to expect a more professional role of Security and Secretary Services. the systematic support will be required.
