  • 고체산화물 연료전지의 구성요소인 전해질의 $(La_{1-x}Sr_x)(Ga_{1-y}Mg_y)O_{3-\delta}$계의 결정상 및 미세구조특성을 연구하였다. Mg의 첨가량이 증가할수록 Sr의 고용량도 증가하였으며 Sr의 함량이 많으면 2차상인 $LaSrGa_3O_7$상이 생성되었으며 Mg의 첨가량이 증가함에 따라서는 $LaSrGaO_4$상이 생성되었다. $LaSrGaO_4$상이 생성된 경우에는 낮은 전도도를 나타내었으며 $LaSrGa_3O_7$상의 경우에는 전기전도도에 큰 영향을 미치지 않았다. 또한 Sr과 Mg 첨가량의 증가는 grain 성장을 억제하였으며 $(La_{0.8}Sr_{0.2})(Ga_{0.8}Mg_{0.2})O_{3-\delta}$$1000^{\circ}C$에서 0.1S/cm 정도의 전기전도도를 나타내었다.

  • The variations of the properties of Sr and Mg added $LaGaO_3$ system electrolyte with the amount of the additive and the sintering condition were studied. Main phase was (La$_{1-x}Sr_x)(Ga_{1-y}Mg_y)O_{3-\delta}$ phase for each compositions and the single phases $(La_{0.85}Sr_{0.15})(Ga_{0.85}Mg_{0.15})O_{3-\delta},(La_{0.85}Sr_{0.15})(Ga_{0.8}Mg_{0.2})O_{3-\delta}$ and $(La_{0.8}Sr_{0.2})(Ga_{0.8}Mg_{0.2})O{3-\delta}$ were obtained with the decrease in the sintering temperature and Mg addition. Thermal expansion coefficient of the $(La_{0.8}Sr_{0.2})(Ga_{0.8}Mg_{0.2})O_{3-\delta}$ decreased with the increase in the sintering temperature. Electric conductivity of electrolyte sintered at $1500^{circ}C$ for 1h was 0.14 S/cm at $800^{circ}C$ with 1 mA.

  • Comparative study of the dependence of the firing voltage of MgSrO and MgCaO protective layers on chemical composition was carried out. It was observed that the firing voltage increases when CaO/MgO or SrO/MgO ratio increases.

  • SrWO4가 첨가된 (Sr1-xBax)(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3의 마이크로파 유전특성에 관하여 조사하였다. 관찰된 조성영역에서 Sr(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3과 Ba(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3은 (Sr1-xBax)(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3고용체를 형성하고 SrWO4의 첨가는 고용체의 소결성을 향상시켜 소결온도 155$0^{\circ}C$에서 상대밀도 97% 이상을 얻었다. 소결한 시편의 EDS분석결과, SrWO4의 첨가량이 많은 시편에서 2차상이 존재하는 것을 알수 있었다. 순수한 Sr(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3에 SrWO4를 0.01 mole첨가하여 1550~1$600^{\circ}C$에서 소결한 시편의 유전특성은 $\varepsilon$r 30, Q$\times$fo$\geq$55000,$ au$f -23 ppm/$^{\circ}C$이었다. 0.01 mole SrWO4가 첨가된 (Sr1-xBax)(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 고용체의 유전율과 온도계숙가 x에 따라 점차적으로 계속 증가하였고 Q$\times$fo는 x$\leq$0.25에서 x에 따라 감소하고 x$\geq$0.3에서 다시 증가하였다. (Sr0.65Ba0.35)(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3+0.01SrWO4의 조성을 갖는 시편에서 $\varepsilon$r 34.4, Q$\times$fo$\geq$55000,$\tau$f 0 ppm/$^{\circ}C$이었다.

  • The $0.96MgTiO_3-0.04SrTiO_3+xLa(0{\sim}1.0wt%)$ ceramics were prepared by conventional mixed oxide method. The structural properties of $0.96MgTiO_3-0.04SrTiO_3+xLa(0{\sim}1.0wt%)$ ceramics with sintering temperature were investigated by the XRD and SEM. From the X-ray diffraction patterns, it was found that the perovskite $SrTiO_3$ and ilmenite $MgTiO_3$ structures were coexisted in the $0.96MgTiO_3-0.04SrTiO_3$ ceramics. The second phase of $Sr_{0.5}LaTi_2O_6$ was shown with addition of the $La_2O_3$. The dielectric constant(${\varepsilon}_r$), $Q{\times}f$ value and the temperature coefficient of the $0.96MgTiO_3-0.04SrTiO_3+0.2La$ ceramics were 21. 41, 39991, $-3.3ppm/^{\circ}C$, respectively.

  • The $MgTiO_3\; and \;$0.9MgTiO_3-0.1SrTiO_3$ ceramics were fabricated by the conventional mixed-oxide method. The sintering temperature and time were $1300^{\circ}C~1600^{\circ}C$, 2hr., respectively. The structural and microwave dielectric properties were investigated with sintering temperature and the application for the satellite communication microwave dielectric resonator was investigated. The coexistence of cubic $SrTiO_3$ and hexagonal TEX>$MgTiO_3$ structures in $0.9MgTiO_3-0.1SrTiO_3$ ceramics were found from X-ray diffraction patterns. In the case of $MgTiO_3$ ceramics, sphere phase and needle-like phase were coexisted. The $0.9MgTiO_3-0.1SrTiO_3$ ceramics observed sphere phase. The dielectric constants and temperature coefficient of resonant $frequency(\tauf)$ were increased with addition of $SrTiO_3$ but the quality factor was decreased. The dielectric constant, quality factor and $\tau$f of the;$0.9MgTiO_3-0.1SrTiO_3$ ceramics were 22.61, 10.928(at 1GHz) and $+50.26ppm/^{\circ}C$, respectively.

Photoluminescence Characteristics of (Ca, Sr)2MgSi2O7:Eu2+ Phosphor Particles Prepared by Spray Pyrolysis (분무열분해법에 의해 제조된(Ca, Sr)2MgSi2O7:Eu2+ 형광체의 발광 특성)

  • $(Ca,Sr)_{2-y}MgSi_2O_7:Eu^{2+}{_y}$ (CMS) phosphor particles were prepared by using a spray pyrolysis process. The luminescent property was optimized by changing the content of Eu and the post-treatment temperature. The luminescence characteristics were also monitored with changing the ratio of Ca to Sr. The pure tetragonal $Ca_2MgSi_2O_7$ or $Sr_2MgSi_2O_7$ particles were obtained when the post-treatment temperature was over $1,000^{\circ}C$. The highest emission intensity of CMS particles were achieved when the concentration (y) of Eu and the treatment temperature were 0.05 and $1,250^{\circ}C$,respectively. The emission wavelength $({\lambda}_{max})$ of ${(Ca_{1-x},Sr_x)}_{1.95}MgSi_2O_7:{Eu^{2+}}_{0.05}$ was gradually shifted from 524 nm to 456 nm with increasing the content of Sr due to the reduction of crystal field strength. The emission intensity and its width of $Sr_2MgSi_2O_7:Eu$ was greatly enhanced by substituting Ca of less than 10 mol% for Sr without any significant peak shift. The morphology of as-prepared particles was spherical, but changed to irregular-shaped one after the post treatment at the temperature range from 900 at $1,300^{\circ}C$.

  • The $0.94MgTiO_3-0.06SrTiO_3$ ceramics were prepared by the conventional mixed oxide method. The structural properties were investigated with sintering temperature and composition ratio by XRD, SEM and DT-TGA. According to the X-ray diffraction patterns of the $0.94MgTiO_3-0.06SrTiO_3$ ceramics, the cubic $SrTiO_3$ and hexagonal $MgTiO_3$ structures were coexisted. Increasing the sintering temperature from $1325^{\circ}C$ to $1400^{\circ}C$, average grain size was increased from $5.026{\mu}m$ to $8.377{\mu}m$. In the case of the $0.94MgTiO_3-0.06SrTiO_3$ ceramics sintered at $1325^{\circ}C$, dielectric constant, quality factor and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency were 21.66, 2,522(at 7.34GHz), $+71ppm/^{\circ}C$, respectively.

  • The structural and microwave dielectric properties of $0.7Mg_4Ta_2O_9-0.3SrTiO_3$ ceramics with sintering temperature were investigated. All the sample of the $0.7Mg_4Ta_2O_9-0.3SrTiO_3$ ceramics were prepared by conventional miked oxide method and the sintering temperature was $1425\~1500^{\circ}C$. The hexagonal phase of $Mg_4Ta_2O_9$ and the cubic phase of $SrTiO_3$ were coexisted. The porosity of $0.7Mg_4Ta_2O_9-0.3SrTiO_3$ ceramics were reduced with increasing sintering temperature. In the case of $0.7Mg_4Ta_2O_9-0.3SrTiO_3$ ceramics sintered at $1475^{\circ}C$, dielectric constant, quality factor and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency were 14.51, 82,596 GHz and $-3.14\;ppm/^{\circ}C$, respectively.

  • The red emission properties of $Mn^{4+}$ doped $SrAl_{12}O_{19}$ prepared by the solid-state reaction was investigated, in order to verify its potential to act as the red emitting phosphor of white LEDs. The emission spectrum exhibits a narrow band between $600{\sim}700 nm $ with four sharp peaks occurring at about 643, 656, 666, 671 nm due to the $^2E\to^4A_2$ transition of $Mn^{4+}$. The excitation spectrum exhibits a broad band between $200{\sim}500 nm$ with three peaks occurring at about 338, 398 and 468 nm, respectively. Moreover, the relative emission intensity of $SrAl_{12}O_{19}:Mn^{4+}$ with or without $CaF_2$ and MgO fluxes measured at excitation source 390 nm. The relative emission intensity of $SrAl_{12}O_{19}:Mn^{4+}$ containing 0.67mol% MgO was approximately 30% higher than that of the base composition sample. Strontium hexa-aluminate measured at room temperature as a function of the substituted Mg concentration. MgO was added to replace part of the $Al_2O_3$. Also, the relative emission intensity of $SrAl_{12}O_{19}:Mn^{4+}$ containing 0.67 mol% MgO and 0.67 mol% $CaF_2$ was approximately about 48% higher than that of the base composition $SrAl_{12}O_{19}:Mn^{4+}$.
