이동통신 단말기용 16 비트 마이크로콘트롤러의 주변장치 개발 (Development of Peripheral Units of the 16 bit Micro-Controller for Mobile Telecommunication Terminal)

  • The trend of compact size, light weight, low power consumption in the portable telecommunication equipments demands large scale integration and low voltage operation of chips and the minimization of the number of the components in the telecommunication terminal. According to the trend, existing chip components are modulized and are integrated as a part into a bigger chip. This paper is about the development of the peripheral units of micro-controller for mobile telecommunication terminal. Peripherals consist of DMA controller, Interrupt controller, timer, watchdog timer, clock generator, and power management unit. They are designed to be integrated with EU(Execution Unit) and BIU(Bus Interface Unit) into a 16 bit micro-controller which will be used as a core of an ASIC for next generation digital mobile telecommunication terminal. At first, whole block of the micro-controller was described by VHDL behavioral model and simulated to verify its overall operation. Then, watchdog timer, clock generator and power management unit were directly synthesized by using VHDL synthesis tool. Rest of the pheriperal units were designed and simulated by using Compass Design Tool.

  • LED 통신은 LED(Light Emitting Diode)에서 나오는 가시광선을 이용해 정보를 전송하는 무선통신기술로 RF(Radio Frequency) 통신의 문제점인 주파수 할당, 인체 내 유해성, 보안의 취약성, 전자기기 간 간섭 등을 극복할 수 있는 기술이다. LED를 이용하여 조명과 통신을 동시에 사용할 수 있는 융합 기술로 유비쿼터스 환경에 적합하다. 본 논문에서는 LED, PD(Photodiode) 및 MCU(Micro Controller Unit)를 이용한 LED 통신 시스템의 데이터 전송 알고리즘을 개발하였고 구현하는 과정을 소개한다.

  • In this thesis discuss with a flexible robotic finger design and controller which is used for the micro flexible robotic finger. So, miniaturization, precision, controller for the control of grasping force and actuator were needed. And, even if we develop a new actuator and controller, in order to use on real system, we must considerate of a many side problem. In a force control of micro flexible finger for grasping an object, the fingertip's vibration was more important task of accuracy control. And, controller were adopt the PD/PI mixed type fuzzy controller. The controller were consist of two part, one is a PD type fuzzy controller for increase the rising time response, the other is a PI type fuzzy controller for decrease of steady-state error. Especially, in a PD type fuzzy controller, we used only seven rules. And, for a PI controller, we adopt a reset factor for the control of input values. so, we have overcome the exceed of controller's input range. For the estimate of ontroller's utility and usefulness, we have experiment and computer simulation of three cases. First, we consider of unit force grasping control for a task object, which is 0.03N. Second, bounding grasping force control which is add to a sinusoidal force on the unit force. At this cases the task force is (0.03+0.01 sin wt N). And consider of following of rectangular forces.

항공기 3차원 충돌회피 알고리즘 구현과 실시간 운영체계를 이용한 Micro Controller Unit의 성능 비교 (Implementation of 3-D Collision Avoidance Algorithm and Comparison of Micro Controller Unit's Performance using Real-Time Operating System)

  • 본 논문에서는 RTOS과 항공기의 3차원 충돌회피 알고리즘을 세 개의 MCU에 적용하여 각 MCU의 성능을 비교하였다. MCU는 많이 사용되는 Microchip Technology사의 ATmega2560과 STM사의 ARM Cortex-M3, ARM Cortex-M4를 선정하였으며, RTOS는 공개되어 있는 FreeRTOS 를 사용하였다. 성능을 확인하기 위해 적용된 3차원 충돌회피 알고리즘은 수직회피와 수평회피를 통합한 알고리즘이며 C++로 구현하였다. MCU의 성능은 각 MCU의 사용 메모리와 계산 시간을 측정하여 비교하였다. 비교 결과 세 MCU 중, 계산 시간은 ARM Cortex-M4가 빨랐으며, ATmega2560이 적은 메모리를 사용하였다.

  • In the recent, electro-rheological fluid has been used for micro polishing of the 3-dimensional micro-aspherical lens and some sectional parts with defects on the wide flat wafer. The ER fluid has the properties that its viscosity has drastic changed under some electric fields. Therefore, ER fluid can be applicable to the micro polishing fur some parts using these properties. In this paper, the experimental device has been constructed using the precision milling machine in order to micro polishing far some sectional parts of a 4 inches wafer It is consisted of a small steel electrode, a wafer fixture, DC10mA and 5KV power supply unit, and a controller unit. Using the ER experimental device, possibility of amending for wide flat wafer and micro polishing of some micro part has been analyzed.

  • Electro-theological fluid is recently used for the micro polishing of 3-dimensional micro-aspherical lens. It's also used for polishing small area defects on the wide flat wafer. Since ER fluid shows a behavior of viscosity changing under certain electric fields. micro polishing efficiency may be enhanced for certain cases. In this paper, a perfluorinated carbonyl fluoride oil based ER fluids was used to improve surface polishing rate and submicron-scale accuracy. As the polishing electrodes, micro size cylindrical tools had been used for maximizing the electric field. An experimental device, which was applied for micro polishing a number of wafers of 4inches in size and other workpiece. was made on a precision polishing system. It consisted of a steel electrode. a wafer fixture. l0㎃ current and DC 5㎸ power supply unit, and a controller unit. From the Experiments. the ER fluid is applicable for micro polishing of small parts.

  • A transmitter (TX) leakage cancellation scheme using a Micro Controller Unit (MCU) is introduced. This paper highlights an adaptive anti-leakage signal generation via an MCU, which plays the key role in reducing the TX leakage signal level. High transmitter-to-receiver (TX-to-RX) isolation is verified with measurement results.

  • Description and theory of spin coating technique has been elaborately outlined and a spin coating machine designed and fabricated using affordable components. The system was easily built with interdisciplinary knowledge of mechanics, fluid mechanics and electronics. This equipment employs majorly three basic components and two circuit units in its operation. These include a high speed dc motor, a proximity sensor mounted at a distance of about 15 mm from a reflective metal attached to the spindle of the motor to detect every passage of the reflective metal at its front and generate pulses. The pulses are transmitted to a micro-controller which process them into rotational speed (revolution per minute) and displays it on a lead crystal display (LCD) which is also a component of the micro-controller. The circuit units are a dc power supply unit and a PWM motor speed controlling unit. The various components and circuit units of this equipment are housed in a metal casing made of an 18 gauge black metal sheet designed with a total area of 1, $529.2cm^2$. To illustrate the use of the spin-coating system, ZnO sol-gel films were prepared and characterized using SEM, XRD, UV-vis, FT-IR and RBS and the result agrees well with that obtained from standard equipment and a speed of up to 9000 RPM has been achieved.

증감지를 이용한 방사선검출기 개발 (Development of Radiation Detector with Intensifying Screen)

  • 본 연구에서는 엑스선 증감지와 광센서, 마이크로컨트롤러(MCU)를 이용하여 휴대와 이동이 용이한 교육용 방사선검출기를 제안하였다. 광센서와 증감지로 이루어진 검출부와 마이크로컨트롤부로 간단하게 구성되어 제작이 쉽고 소형화 및 휴대형으로 적합하게 제작되었다. 검출기의 성능 확인을 위해 전압을 50에서 100 kVp까지 변경하며 검출시스템과 흡수선량계를 이용하여 방사선을 측정하였다. 관전류량은 100 mAs, SDD는 100 cm로 고정하였고 각 관전압에서 10회 반복 측정하였다. 측정값을 이용하여 검출기의 응답과 선형성을 확인하였다. 검출기와 흡수선량계의 측정결과 비교에서 높은 상관성(r:0.998, p<.001)을 보임을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 통하여 본 연구에서 제안된 증감지와 마이크로컨트롤러 기반의 검출기의 사용가능성을 확인할 수 있었으며, 휴대형 방사선검출시스템이 소형, 저가형, 휴대형 시스템으로 교육용으로 적용이 가능할 것으로 판단되었다.
