In order to implement the real-time enterprise (RTE) and smart work effectively, many companies have introduced a mobile office. A mobile office improves employee productivity and increases ability to respond to business opportunities by helping employee manage their business anytime and anywhere. However, it also raises the user's stress level. We conducted in-depth interviews with users to assess user's perception of a mobile office according to Saaty's BOCR model. Based on the results of the interviews, we set variables affecting user's perception of the mobile office using factor analysis. This study revealed that support for real-time business, support for communication and collaboration, and information processing quality were positively related to continuous intention to use mobile office. Further study demonstrated that three variables have mediating effect between the psychological stress and continuous intention to use. This result implies that the system quality and function are the key elements of mobile office and may contribute to the continuous use.

In this paper, the standardization of the Web technology of HTML5/CSS3 and JQuery Mobile, using a variety of mobile platforms, run independently within an environment as possible to implement the Mobile Office System. In addition, user friendly Web interface and dynamic web design through a mobile device in a Mobile Office system provides convenience to the user when a hybrid Web application based mobile office system implement.

The use of mobile office systems has been expanded due to the smartphones' rapid diffusion in Korea, and it has brought a new work environment that is different from traditional working patterns. In this study, the unique attributes of mobile office systems, such as ubiquity, usefulness, complexity, and insecurity, are examined along with the impact of these attributes on work overload and job stress. Based on transaction-based model of job stress, organizational support was applied as a stress inhibitor and also the moderator between work overload and job stress. The findings of this study show that ubiquity increases usefulness of mobile office systems; complexity increases both work overload and job stress; and insecurity increases job stress. Surprisingly, usefulness increases job stress, which means employees who perceive the efficiency of mobile office systems higher may feel more job stress. Organizational support for mobile office systems significantly shows the moderating effect, but no direct mitigating effect on job stress. The theoretical and practical implications in order to mitigate the side effects of mobile office systems based on the research findings are thoroughly discussed.

Human being does work to live out and they have their private life because human has sociality. Both work and life are important to live out but they are on the trade-off relationship. Because keeping the balance between work and life is too hard, it has been interested by academic and practical areas. Definition of Work-life balance here is that balance or imbalance arising between work and life has no negative impact on their daily life. Above all, Work-life balance is important because it is strongly related to identity. Recently, the introduction of the mobile office system has emerged as a way to solve the problem of work-life balance. It is based on the teleworking which was formerly generated. Teleworking is to perform the work in the employee's home or office space set aside without going into the workplace. Concept of the mobile office system here is not only using portable devices during work for convenience but also the system which is designed for the performance. Thanks to the diffusion of smart devices(smart phone, tablet pc), mobile office system has been spread. Although the importance of mobile office systems is emerging, there are few researches about it. Even they mostly focus on the standpoint of performance of mobile office system. However, Quality of life is as important as the performance. As a part of Quality of Life field, Work-life balance is the closest to employee's quality of life. So this study aims to examine the effect of the use of mobile office systems on work-life balance. To do so, we try to find factors effecting Work-life balance from existing studies and then set a research model. We set the use of mobile office systems as independent variables which are divided by use of function, use by location and use by situation. There are four dependent variables - sense of self command, sense of balance, solving work problem, solving life problem. We collected data from employees who are using mobile office systems on their job. 215 people were participated in the survey and we used multiple regression analysis to verify our research model. Results show that every independent variable has no impact on solving work problem while they have slight impact on the other dependent variables. Especially use on the business trip has significant effect on dependent variables. It means that there is a possibility use of mobile office system could control the employee's quality of life and system should be evolved until it covers even critical tasks. Also, support for mobile office system -education, encouragement-should be provided. By mobile office system is maturing, future research would be done.

The rapid deployment of smart mobile equipments such as mobile phones and mobile note pads is considered a driving force to change several aspects of today's work life in organizations. Among all, this paper focuses on organizational collaboration as collaboration is a key aspect of organizational performance and success and is considered to be affected by digitally mediated communication. A questionnaire survey was performed to analyze the impact of the use of modern mobile office technology on productivity increase under the context of organizational collaboration. Some specific functions of mobile office technology were found to significantly affect the productivity. In addition, different requirements for desired collaboration were found to be associated with the use of different functions of mobile office technology and different situational use of the technology. Organizational and technical implications of the findings are discussed.

This paper focuses on developing a smartphone-based mobile office system for a logistics company in Korea using HTML5. Mobile office is smart working environment of working out of a company office using mobile devices such as smartphones and portable computers which are connected to the company servers via WiFi or 3G/4G. Recently many companies are introducing mobile office information systems with the smartphone wave, but they are having difficulties in maintaining and updating their systems due to the transformative mobile application platform. Therefore, we need a platform-independent implementation tools for the mobile office application and HTML5 is one of the solution tools. In this paper, we develop mobile and web applications applicable to all kinds of mobile devices such as iOS, android and windows mobile etc using HTML5. The proposed mobile office system consists of groupware, marketing management, reporting module and transportation management system.

In the recent a mobile internet makes a change in internet business. The mobile internet service is resulting in M-commerce. Even if M-commerce provides only information service, there will be much possibilities to make applications in various areas such as, delivery service, trading service, banking service etc. in the near future. Delivery service requires many steps in processing, originally. This study is designed to implement a mobile system which makes short in delivery process. In this paper, a mobile office support. system which consists of mobile devices and servers is proposed. An efficient mobile office support system is required to study since the existing mobile office support systems may face the serious problems such as an absence of interoperability, difficulties of data synchronization and device management in the near future, especially when a company has a large number of outdoor service employees. In this paper, a mobile office support system requirements for a company with a large number of outdoor service employees is proposed. And then, the methods to satisfy the requirements using a remote data synchronization and a remote device management technologies are proposed. The mobile office support system proposed in this paper synchronizes remotely a large number of various mobile devices of employees with centralized servers located in the company. In addition, it manages the mobile devices remotely for the employees. This paper proposes a mobile office support system based on OMA(Open Mobile Alliance) DS(Data Synchronization) and DM(Device Management) protocols. As OMA DS and DM protocols are de facto international standards, the interoperability between the mobile office support systems can be guaranteed.

This study based on DeLone and McLean's IS success model aims to identify mobile office service factors affecting user satisfaction. The result of analysis showed that user satisfaction was positively related to job performance, and mobility and information quality affects user satisfaction. In addition to that, we carried out separated hypotheses test to investigate mobile office service factors depending on usage(frequently used functions) and job characteristics classified generally as either primary or support activities. As a result of this research, somewhat different results were derived. The main results of this study are that mobility is the most important factor affecting user satisfaction, and mobile office services should be more strictly guaranteed in quality especially if it supports primary activities of customer companies such as sales.

Mobile Office is a new type of working method in the workplace that can be used at any time or anywhere by connecting to the network with mobile devices. This allows people to do their jobs without their physical presence in their offices to use computers. The elements in mobile office environment are advancing. They include the widespread distribution of the smart phones, the network enhancing strategy in a ubiquitous environment and expansion of the wireless internet; however, there are not enough security guidelines or policies against these threats on the new environment, the mobile office, although there is the revitalization policy of smart work supported by the government. CERT and ISAC, the known security system as of now, could be used for the secure mobile office, In this paper, suggestions are to be provided for strengthening the security of smart mobile office by analysing the functions of CERT and ISAC.
