A Study on the Digital Unit Development for Turbine Load Set Control (Turbine Load Set 조정을 위한 Digital Unit 개발)

  • As important device that decide output load in superannuated thermoelectric power plant which do Turbine Load Set Motor device. This generation of electric power system operated Set Up Range Motor according to Set Up value that operator manufactures by hand circumvolve, and generation of electric power output load derision is consisted by internal action including Motor Therefore, in this research passively output load operated Turbine Motor Drive equipment that can have existing Turbine Load Set Motor Performance developing Digital Drive Unit device design. Also control algorithm implementation and existing Turbine Load Set Motor Drive and connection possibility through designed controlling system to connect basis function that decide development output load with Digital Drive Unit that designed also with existing Motor Drive Unit and can be operated.

  • In this paper, a high efficiency motor drive system which improves the multi-step response of PM step motors by reducing the transition time of the motor drive current, is studied by designing a dual-voltage drive circuit. The designed drive circuit eventually prevents the motor from decreasing drive torque while the stepping rate is increased. The method of designing a dual-voltage drive circuit with the motor specifications is suggested in order to improve the response of step rate and drive efficiency. Also, despite improving the power efficiency on motor driving, the response characterstics suggested by the motor manufacture's specifications are satisfied without any special deficiency.

  • This thesis focuses on the design of control schemes for highly efficient BLDC motor drive applications using drives with output capacity of 1Hp. The control system was designed and implemented on a PIC micro-controller and applied to an electric vehicle as a viable replacement to the existing a high phase induction motor that is currently being used for these low cost, small traction drive applications. This paper for the brushless drive research has shown the optimization of the drive system for improved drive design and switching techniques that can improve the entire drive system efficiency for electric vehicle both large and small traction applications using sinusoidal PWM techniques for synthesizing the AC waveforms needed to control these traction drives. In addition, Numerical simulation was conducted to evaluate the performance of designed BLDC Motor using MotorPro simulator.

  • Recently the needs the interest for the high speed motor drive system is increased in many different fields. So in this paper, the high speed motor drive system is proposed to drive the high speed motor using DSP which was developed in order to process datas at high speed.   • This paper presents the sensorless drive method for mono inverter dual parallel (MIDP) surface mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor (SPMSM) drive system. MIDP motor drive system is a technique that can reduce the cost of the multi motor driving system. To maximize this merit of the MIDP motor drive system, the sensorless technique is essential to eliminate the position sensors. This paper adopts an appropriate sensorless method for MIDP SPMSM drive system, which uses the reduced order observer and phase locked loop (PLL) to reduce the calculation burden. The I-F control method is implemented for start-up and low speed operation. The validity and performance of the proposed algorithm are shown via experiments with 600-W SPMSMs.

  • Recently, the BLDC(Brushless DC) motor has been increasingly applied to home appliance and the study of BLDC motor drive is extensively processing, so it is necessary to investigate the characteristic of the BLDC motor drive. In this paper, we proposed the modeling of interior permanent - magnet BLDC motor drive. The state model of motor and the model of inverter using pulse width modulation are included. The modeling is verified by the experimental results.

  • For an accurate computer simulation to motor drive systems, the target mechanical load system driven by a motor needs to be model its characteristics accurately. In general, a load system is modeled simply with system parameters such as approximated system inertia and friction. So, simulation results have some errors compared with experimental results for a real load system. RecurDyn is a mechanics simulation program for 3-dimension analysis to mechanical load systems. From this program, parameters such as a load torque, a system inertia and a viscous friction can be obtained accurately which are required to model a mechanical system. Also, this program operates together Matlab/Simulink which is used to simulate electrical motor drive systems. So, an accurate simulation for the whole system with a motor drive system and a mechanical load is possible. This paper introduces an application of RecurDyn program to an electric forklift drive system using IPMSM(Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) and examines the feasibility of co-simulation it with Matlab/Simulink.

Low Cost Motor Drive Technologies for ASEAN Electric Scooter

  • This work investigates two different motor drive technologies, switched reluctance motor (SRM) and induction motor (IM). They are designed optimally to meet the desired performances for electric scooters. The comparison of both motors is described in terms of performances and material cost. With the similar constraint, induction motor performs slightly better than switched reluctance motor. But this must be traded-off with higher weight and cost. Both drive systems are, however, suitable for electric scooter application. Finally, the range simulations are conducted on a European urban driving cycle, ECE15 driving cycle and a more realistic cycle, Bangkok driving cycle. The e-scooter ranges are varied from 36 to 109 km depending on driving cycle, motor technology and number of passengers.

  • In this paper, the fundemental equation on the Trans-vector control of 3.phi. Induction motor drive and the new equivalent circuit to be adapted for this equation, have been obtained, and control drives system to be coincide with this equation is made. Therefore, it has been obtained that control scheme can always be used motor drive. 3.phi. Induction motor drive has been got the dynamic behavior the same as that of DC motor drive. The drive dynamic response is very rapid because of Trans-vector control on the I_1$ (primary current) and .${\omega}_1$ (frequency of primary current) of the Induation mechine. This paper indicates that a practicality of the drive control system and the rationalty of the theory have been identified with the experimental results. The effect of parameter variations on the drive dynamic response can be evaluated from these results.

  • The parameter through the motor designing program is used to predict motor response and design the motor drive circuits. The application programs such as "Saber" are often used for these. However, making the electrical model of motor for these simulation tool is uncomfortable and impossible for general users. Therefore, in this paper, we develop the "Spice" library generation program with the motor designing program "Motor Expert". This program will assist the user to make the motor library comfortablely and correctlyry comfortablely and correctly
