This paper proposes a mobile augmented reality mashup for cultural heritage sites such as natural monuments. Several benefits of mobile augmented reality solutions are ideal for preserving and protecting cultural heritage sites. By presenting mobile augmented reality mashup scenarios and mobile mashup framework, we introduce how user-generated multimedia contents can be added. We present two scenarios of Mashup Viewer and Mashup Maker. In Mashup Viewer mode, visitors can create new AR contents using mashup tools for memo, Twitter, images and statistical graphs. In Mashup Maker mode, other visitors also can view the user-generated multimedia AR contents using QR codes as access points. To show feasibility of our approach in mobile platforms, we compare several detection algorithms on PC and mobile platform and report on deployment of our approach in a natural monument museum. With our proposed mashup tools, visitors to the cultural heritage sites can enjoy default AR contents provided by the site administrators and also participate as active content producers and consumers.

The advent of multimedia as the new media was caused popularization of personal computer and evolution of technology. The age of multimedia instigated the coming of new paradigm. The computer have been changed reality as a human culture to simulation culture. And it have been developed as a connector between real world and cyber space. As a result, a man who have used a computer has a possibility of danger of immersion or addiction. Therefore we must have the media competence.

In this paper, we described web content searching system focused on the natural monuments, the endangered and reserved wild animals, the rare wild animals relevant to CITES & IUCN red data book, and the Korean endemic species. As a result of this research, we developed system for inserting and modifying of contents and efficient web searching system on the multimedia contents.

기존의 셋탑박스는 단순히 디지털 방송물 수신하는 기능에 머물렀다. 그러나 지금은 PVR, 데이터 방송을 지원하는 인터렉티브 어플리케이션, 홈네트워킹 하에서 컨텐츠를 다양하게 처리하는 복합적인 멀티미디어 어플리케이션 등이 탑재된 다기능화된 제품들이 출시되고 있다. 본 시스템은 아날로그 TV와 디지털 TV의 기능을 하나로 합친 유럽향 멀티미디어 셋탑박스를 개발하기 위해 함께 구현되어진 Multimedia Contents Application의 구현에 대해 서술하고 있다. 메모리 스틱을 이용하여 데이터 전달을 수행하는 File Explorer와 함께 멀티미디어 기능을 수행하는 Photo 시bum, Media Player, Juke Box 등을 함께 구현하였다. 오디오, 비디오, 이미지를 디코딩 하기 위한 갖가지 코덱들을 자체적으로 개발하여 최적화시켰다. 또한 좀더 사용자가 친숙한 UI를 위하여 다양한 테스트를 거쳐 사용자 편의적인 UI를 구현하였다.

In order to serve effective teaching and teaming environments with an appropriate harmony of hard technologies and soft technologies and to contribute to multimedia contents design and development this study shows that the theoretical backgrounds, producing backgrounds, contents scenario, and related research as well as their use and integration into realistic classroom. In our environments, it is believed that it is possible for us to develop effective mathematics educational multimedia development fitting to our culture and emotion. Thus it is urged that the government should support the professional multimedia development ＆ production association enthusiastically.

A proposed system can decrypt each contents block through a double buffer algorithm which can continually buffer contents by dividing a multimedia contents into some blocks and provides more improved method of encryption than existing system by being not capable of decrypting the whole multimedia contents if one key is exposed. Also, using digital signature and public encryption algorithm for mutual authentication between systems, this paper proposes the system which sends and encrypts symmetric keys for contents encryption through SOAP messages.
