  • Routers currently used in homes and institutions have a function of multiple computers to connect to the Internet with a single IP address. It is possible only through setting or establishing a separate operation in a used PC or server to function as a web/printer server, web hard, and P2P. In this paper, by utilizing the OpenWRT Linux-based through the construction of the Web server through a router OpenWRT of (Open Wireless Router) base, to build a server simple compact, low power consumption, low cost, to operate by reliability to provide Internet telephony and multimedia services high securely over the server security, which is based on the setting of policy and various firewall at the same time the configuration of the network utilizing OpenWRT router that can be enhanced, to construct a Web server through a router multi functional can receive the provision of services using the program PC and mobile APP.

  • Recently the use router is to allow multiple computers by one IP can be connect to the Internet. Also, the PC or server in order to use a Web server or a print server, Web Hard, P2P should be settings. In this paper, we are building a multi-functional Web server that using a router supported OpenWRT based on network settings and firewall settings and a variety of services. A web server can be provided the Internet phone and secure multimedia service Web server router based OpenWRT may be provided through a mobile app and the PC application service.

  • This paper introduces a home network service system using a low-cost wireless router on OpenWrt which can be remotely controled by Android devices. The proposed system consists of an embedded system development platform for home network service control based on OpemWrt embedded Linux, an embedded system development platform, a remote control on Android, and a home linghting device made by an interface board with LEDs. The prototype system is made of a wireless router of Buffalo, WZR-HP-G450H, Arduino Uno interface board with LEDs, and an Android development kit of HBE-SM5-S421. The operation was performed by TCP/IP programming for Android remote control, socket programming between Android development kit and wireless router, and UART communication programming between the interface board and wireless router. The implementation result shows that a low cost home network systme could be implemented with a wireless router.

  • As smart home network services such as home CCTV, outdoor control of home appliances, home security and disaster prevention services become popular, there appear various affiliated products including smart home gateway and smart speaker. Since those services are generally developed on the vendors' individual hardware and software platforms, it is not much expected for them to interwork well among different architecture and communication methods. In this paper, we propose a new home network service system running on an open source platform to address such issues. We implemented a home network system using OpenWRT-based wireless router(or access point) and Zigbee communication technology. In the proposed system, a wireless router replaces a commercial home gateway and small control units implemented with Arduino control electronic devices and sensors in home. Several service scenarios are also implemented to verify the operability of the proposed system.

  • Recently, the 4th Industrial Revolution has been emerged and various products are developed and commercialized in preparation of the communication failure. Many solutions are underway in Back-Up Network for IDC Servers, but not in the personal or sensor for low-power system use. Therefore we used the OpenWRT Firmware in Raspberry Pi which can be easily obtained in online market, and it created a low-power load balancer. Therefore, we developed the device that uses LTE Antenna based on USB Interface for communication fault notification and important data. The equipment used in this paper is easy to buy in online shop for anyone. Also, it can be applied in other vendors' boards by using USB. We hope that this paper will contribute to the stability of individual sensor networks.

  • Due to the development of health promotion and health care technology of smartphones paradigm from treatment to manage change, and this is increasing the fitness in time for the user. However, fitness club, users find the right exercise law-personal trainer must be costly to pay companies describes the management system is required in order to operate the high costs strain. In this paper, such as scalable servers to OpenWrt Fonera is mainly based on the client to configure the server iOS mobile sensors collect a user's movement through the history of the user's input. This data is sent to the Web and check whether the receiving system via a trainer is to record the users through weight training and to receive feedback.

  • 본 논문에서는 소형 임베디드 시스템을 응용하여 원격으로 가정의 에너지를 효율적으로 절약할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 위하여 OpenWrt기반 소형 유무선 공유기를 임베디드 시스템 개발 플랫폼으로 활용하여, DC 모터가 장착된 창문 블라인드를 날씨 변화에 따라 원격지에서 스마트폰으로 제어가 가능하게 하였다. 프로토타입 시스템 구현은 Buffalo사의 WZR-HP-G450H 유무선공유기, Arduino 사의 UNO 인터페이스 보드, DC 모터로 구성하였다. 원격제어 시스템은 iOS 기반으로 애플리케이션을 제작하였다. 전체 시스템의 동작 검증은 스마트폰과 유무선 공유기, 인터페이스 보드의 소켓통신을 통하여 DC 모터의 속도를 원격으로 조절함으로 동작을 확인하였다.

  • The recent trend in home network system includes intelligent home environments that remote monitoring and control service is achieved without restrictions by device types, time, and place. Also the use of a vacuum robot in homes is gradually generalized on account of the convenience of the use. In this paper, we proposed and realized new home-monitoring system with the employment of an self-movement robot as one trial for realizing an intelligent home under home network environment. The proposed system can freely monitor every where in home, because the system effectively overcame the surveillance limitations of the existing monitoring system by attaching a Wireless Router and WebCam to a commercial vacuum robot. The outdoor users of this system can readily monitor any place which they want to supervise by controlling a vacuum robot with mobile telecommunication devices such as PDA. The wireless router installed with Linux operation system "OpenWrt" made it possible for the system users to transmit images and to control a vacuum robot with RS-232 communication.

  • Recently, the types and amount of data generated, collected, and measured in IoT such as smart home, security, and factory are increasing. The technologies for IoT service include sensor devices to measure desired data, embedded software to control the devices such as signal processing, wireless network protocol to transmit and receive the measured data, and big data and AI-based analysis. In this paper, we focused on developing a gateway for interfacing heterogeneous sensor network protocols that are used in various IoT devices and propose a heterogeneous network interface IoT gateway. We utilized a OpenWrt-based wireless routers and used 6LoWAN stack for IP-based communication via BLE and IEEE 802.15.4 adapters. We developed a software to convert Z-Wave and LoRa packets into IP packet using our Python-based middleware. We expect the IoT gateway to be used as an effective device for collecting IoT big data.
