부분선형 패널법을 이용한 2차원 날개단면 주위 유동 해석 (Flow Analysis around a Wing Section by a Piecewise Linear Panel Method)

  • Panel methods are useful tools for analyzing fluid-flow around a wing section. It has the advantage of fast and accurate calculation, compared to other CFD Methods such as RANS solvers. This paper suggests a piecewise linear panel method in order to improve accuracy of existing panel methods by changing the piecewise constant singularity strength to linear singularity strength(for dipole strength). The piecewise linear panel method adopts the linear distribution of singularity strength, while control point is located at the node of each panel. Formulation of the piecewise linear panel method is given, and some calculation results are shown for typical wing sections.

가변 자유수면 패널법을 이용한 선체 주위 포텐셜 유동 해석 (Variable Free Surface Panel Method for Potential Flow Analysis around a Ship)

  • A new solution method was developed to solve the free surface flow around a hull and named as 'Variable Free Surface Panel Method'. In the method the non-linearity of the free surface boundary conditions was fully taken into account and the raised panel method was employed to effectively solve the problem. The transom stern flow was also considered and the panel on the hull was generated using the panel cutting method. Numerical calculations were performed for KCS(KRISO Container Ship) hull form and compared with the experimental data to confirm the validity of the method. The comparison with the conventional free surface panel method was also accomplished. It is confirmed that new method gives more reliable results than the conventional method.

  • In this study, the adhesion performance of the adhesive between the concrete base and the fiber panel was verified through experiments. Attachment to all three types by applying adhesive to panel and attaching to CRC board surface, method of applying adhesive to CRC board surface by panel, method of applying adhesive on panel and CRC board surface respectively, As a result of the performance test, the adhesive strength of the panel attached to the panel on the CRC board after the application of the adhesive was highest on both the back surface of the panel and the surface of the CRC board.

고차 판요소법을 이용한 몰수체의 조파저항 계산 (Calculation of Wave Resistance for a Submerged Body by a Higher Order Panel Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 물체표면을 겹 3차 B-Spline 방법에 의하여 표현하고, 특이점세기를 겹선형으로 근사하는 고차판요소법을 이용하여 몰수체에 대한 조파저항을 계산하였다. 여기서 Neumann-kelvin 문제는 쏘오스분포법과 법선다이폴분포법에 의하여 해석되었다. 고차 판요소법에 의하여 계산된 결과는 Hess & Smith가 사용한 최저차 판요소법 결과와 비교하였으며, 고차 판요소법의 수렴도는 보통 판요소법보다 훨씬 좋은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나, 고차 판요소법에 의하여 계산된 조파저항도 최저차 판요소법에 의한 것과 마찬가지로 낮은 Froude 수에서는 해석해와의 차이를 보이고 있다.

  • In the present study, a new hull panel generation algorithm, namely panel cutting method, was developed to predict flow phenomena around a ship using the Rankine source potential based panel method, where the iterative method was used to satisfy the nonlinear free surface condition and the trim and sinkage of the ship was taken into account. Numerical computations were performed to investigate the validity of the proposed hull panel generation algorithm for Series 60 ($C_B$=0.60) hull and KRISO container ship (KCS), a container ship designed by Maritime and Ocean Engineering Research Institute (MOERI). The computational results were validated by comparing with the existing experimental data.

곡면 패널 검사를 위한 효율적인 오토 포커싱 방법 (An Effective Auto-Focusing Method for Curved Panel Inspection System)

  • The curved panel is widely used for display of TVs and smart phones. This paper proposes a new auto-focusing method for curved panel inspection system. Since the distance between the camera and the panel varies with the curve position, the camera should change its focus at every inspection time. In order to reduce the focusing time, we propose an effective focusing method that considers the mathematical model of panel curve. The Lagrange polynomial equation is applied to modeling the panel curve. The foci of initial three points are used to get the curve equation, and the other foci are calculated automatically from the curve equation. The experiment result shows that the proposed method can reduce the focusing time.

코어공명을 이용한 허니콤패널의 흡음율 개선에 관한 연구 (A study on the improvement of sound absorption coefficient of an honeycomb panel by the core resonance)

  • Honeycomb panel has a constructive advantage because it is constructed with a honeycomb core, so it has relatively higher strength ratio to weight. Therefore honeycomb panel has been used as the light weight panels in the high-speed railway technology and high-speed ship like as cruise yachts. Also it has been used in the aircraft and aerospace industry as a structural panel because light weight structure is indispensible in that field of industry. Recently, the honeycomb panel is embossed in the viewpoints of high oil prices as the lightweight panel of the transport machine, however the sound insulation capacity of the honeycomb panel is poorer than those of uniform and another sandwich panels. In this paper a method to improving the sound absorption coefficient of a honeycomb panel Is studied by using the Helmholtz resonator. The sound absorption coefficients for some kinds of honeycomb cores are demonstrated by the normal incident absorption coefficient method.

  • In order to realize a stable rubbing process for the liquid crystal panel, the authors investigated the quantitative evaluation method of rubbing process uniformity. The proposed method focuses on the relationship between the image quality of the LCD panel for gray scale images and the rubbing uniformity. The proposed method indicates rubbing uniformity using quantitative parameters of spots and hairlines on the LCD panel.

  • The aerodynamic characteristics of a T-50 aircraft configuration are investigated by a subsonic panel method. Panel methods are best applicable to the lifting surfaces such as wings and airfoils. Source and doublets are used in the present code as a basic singularities of the panel technique. The panel method is first assessed by applying it to several benchmark problems for which other solutions and experimental data are available, such as a swept wing and wing body configuration. The prediction results are compared with experimental data and show good agreement in all cases considered. Finally, the method is applied to a T-50 aircraft configuration and excellent agreement with flight test data in lift coefficients is found.

  • Touch panel is mainly applied to pressure type touch panel but it occur a low recognition rate and error during long-term use. So, it is partly applied to capacitive touch panel to compensate for these problems but it also can occur a same problems via pollutions. Touch technology has developed a various method but it is not used because of high costs and difficult installation process. So, in this paper, we proposed an input method of touchless panel using IrDA matrix. This method is conducted using an IrDA Matrix composed of depth sensor. It is possible to offer a various contents for multi user. The proposed technology need a development of a high sensitivity sensing method and high-speed processing method of position information for Seamless operation control. And, it is required high-precision drive technology. Also, we proposed a Seamless user recognition for interactive contents service through a touchless panel using IrDA matrix.
