Effects of Experimental Attitude and Perceived Privacy Protection on the Satisfaction and Loyalty: A Case of Unmanned Convenience Store (무인편의점 이용객의 실험태도와 개인정보보호가 만족도 및 충성도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to examine the effects of experimental attitudes and perceived personal information protection on satisfaction and loyalty for Chinese consumers who use unmanned convenience stores. The important results of this study are as follows. First, consumers' perception of the experimental servicescape of unmanned convenience stores in China has an effect on the consumer's experimental attitude. Consumers' perception of experimental diversity in unmanned convenience stores in China has an effect on the consumer's experimental attitude. Second, consumers' perception of the information quality of unmanned convenience stores in China has an impact on the consumer's personal information protection. Consumers' perception of the service quality of unmanned convenience stores in China has an impact on consumer's personal information protection. Third, consumers' perception of personal information protection in unmanned convenience stores in China has an effect on the consumer's experimental attitude. Fourth, consumers' perception of personal information protection in unmanned convenience stores in China has an effect on consumer satisfaction with experiments. Consumers' perception of the experiment attitude of unmanned convenience stores in China has an effect on the consumer's satisfaction with the experiment.

The perception and practice of privacy protection in some dental hygiene students

  • Objectives: This study explored the perception and practice of privacy protection of some dental hygiene students. Methods: On the basis of survey data from 126 respondents, the correlation between the perception and the practice was analyzed. Also the multiple regression analysis was performed on the variables that affect the practice. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ of the questionnaire was more than 0.6. The items were scored on 5 points scale or true-false type. Results: The perception of privacy protection was 3.23 points, the law is 0.88 points, and the practice is 3.47 points. The educated students were more perceive than those who did not(p<0.05). The higher the perception, the higher the practice(r=0.230, p<0.01). The practice was influenced by the perception(p<0.05). Conclusions: Dental hygiene students should be educated to perceive and protect the personal and medical information of a patient. Also, an educational institutions need a efforts to protect personal information.

The Perception of Residential Privacy of the Elderly (노인의 주거공간에서의 프라이버시 인지)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the level of residential privacy perceived by the elderly and also to identify contributing factors on their perception of privacy. This study examined the relations among socio-demographic characteristics housing characteristics and personal perception of privacy. The number of 469 elderly aged 55 and over were interviewed in Seoul. Daejeon Jeonju and Daegu, The data were analyzed by statistical methods such as frequencies means and multiple liner regression analysis. The result showed that the significant variables related to the perception of residential privacy of the elderly were the personal self-esteem age housing tenure pattern of using spaces family solidarity and availability of the perception of private space. The perception of the privacy of the elderly can be affected by personal characteristics and the privacy can be achieved by improving their present housing environment.

Improvement Method of Education for Personal Information Protection through Survey on Perception in College Students (대학생 개인정보보호 인식조사를 통한 교육 개선방안 연구)

  • In the trend of continuously increasing collection and use of personal information, there are legal grounds for protecting personal information and various policies and systems are implemented, but there is insufficient analysis about education and its effect of personal information protection. In this study, we surveyed and analyzed the degree of awareness and actual perception level in the protection of personal information of college students, and investigated the satisfaction of personal information protection education. The results of the analysis showed that students' interest in privacy protection and concern about personal information exposure was very high, but the efforts to protect personal information and the perception level of rights and systems for protecting personal information was very low. In addition, the experience and satisfaction of education for personal information protection were found to be very low. Students felt that the necessity of education for personal information protection was strongly agreed and preferred regular and continuous education rather than one-time education.

Anxiety, Depression, and Self-Esteem in Children with Cancer : The Influence of Personal Variables and Perception of Social Support (암환아의 개인적 변인과 사회적 지지 지각이 불안, 우울 및 자아존중감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study analyzed the influences of personal variables and perception of social support on the anxiety, depression and self-esteem of 102 children with cancer living in Seoul. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, and hierarchical multiple regression. Results showed that personal variables that influenced depression, anxiety and self-esteem of children with cancer were sex, grade in school, monthly income of the family, and regularity of school attendance. Perception of social support influenced depression and self-esteem; subjects higher in perception of social support were lower in depression and higher in self-esteem.

A Study on the Perception of Personal Mobility Vehicle for the Improvement of Pedestrian Environment for the Disabled

  • Objective: In order to secure the right to walk for the weak, such as the disabled, this study aims to suggest ways to improve the pedestrian environment by identifying factors that cause obstacles to walking. Design: Data Analysis and Perception Survey. Methods: The questionnaire was conducted separately between users of personal mobility vehicle and non-users. A total of 207 effective questionnaires were collected, and the analysis analyzed the perception of personal mobility vehicle by conducting frequency analysis using SAS 9.4. The survey focused on basic information on respondents, walking conditions, understanding of personal mobility vehicle, awareness of pedestrian space passage and parking, and awareness of the possibility of securing pedestrian rights due to new regulations. Results: First, when moving a pedestrian path by personal mobility vehicle, it shall be limited to less than the walking speed of pedestrians. Second, the parking location of the personal mobility vehicle is located at the boundary of the pedestrian road and the lane. Third, pay a fair price to park in a pedestrian space. Conclusions: It is necessary to improve the system to strengthen the contents of education to take into account the safety of pedestrians in education on how to use personal mobility vehicle.

Analyzing the Privacy Leakage Prevention Behavior of Internet Users Based on Risk Perception and Efficacy Beliefs : Using Risk Perception Attitude Framework (위험지각과 효능감에 따른 인터넷 사용자의 개인정보 유출 예방행위 분석 : 위험지각태도 프레임웍을 기반으로)

  • Although many studies have focused on the influences and outcomes of personal information leakage, few studies have investigated how the personal information leakage prevention behavior differs depending on internet user. This study attempts to supplement the existing studies' limitations with the use of risk perception attitude (RPA) framework. More specifically, this study tries to show internet user can be classified into four groups based on perceived risk of personal information leakage and efficacy beliefs of personal information protection, and to identify how the groups differ in terms of motivation, information seeking, and behaviors for privacy leakage prevention. Analysis on survey data from 276 internet users reveals that the users can be classified into responsive, avoidance, proactive, indifference groups. Furthermore, there are differences between groups in terms of motivation, information seeking, and behaviors for personal information leakage prevention. This study contributes to expand existing literature by providing tailored guidelines for implementation of personal information protection strategies and policy.

The Perceptions of Pre-service Elementary Teachers in Regards to the Learning Environment in Science Education Courses and Their Science Teaching Efficacy Belief (과학과교육 강의에서 예비 초등교사들의 학습환경에 대한 인식과 과학 교수효능감)

  • This study examined how pre-service elementary teachers' perceptions regarding the learning environment (learning focus/ability-meritocracy/cooperative climate) and achievement goals (mastery/performance-approach/performance-avoidance) in science education courses jointly contributed to their science teaching efficacy beliefs (personal science teaching efficacy belief/science teaching outcome expectancy). A path analysis supported a causal model in which the perception of the learning focus influenced the mastery goal, which in turn influenced the personal science teaching efficacy belief and science teaching outcome expectancy. The perception of learning focus also had a direct effect on science teaching outcome expectancy. The perception of ability-meritocracy influenced personal science teaching efficacy belief via the performance-approach (positively) or, conversely, the performance-avoidance goal (negatively). No link .was deduced from the perception of cooperative climate. The educational implications of these findings were also discussed.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of problem of internet usage and the willingness to receive internet education among adolescents on Jeju Island, who are core internet users, and the related variables. The survey was administered to 566 students from elementary and middle schools on Jeju. The data were analyzed by T-test, ANOVA analysis, DMR test and logistic regression analysis. The major results of this study were as follows. First, the adolescents perceived the conflict with family due to the problem of internet usage. Taken as a whole, the perception of a problem due to internet usage was low. Second, the internet-related variables were very important to the perception level of the problem in that there was a significant difference in all sub-spheres according to the internet usage time. Also, the personal-related variables such as gender, age, and personal expenses had a meaningful difference on the perception level of problem. Third, adolescents' willingness to receive internet education was considerably high. The personal-related variables such as gender and school record had a meaningful influence on the willingness of the internet education.

The Relationships among Perceived Parental Bonding, Illness Perception, and Anxiety in Adult Patients with Congenital Heart Diseases (성인 선천성 심장질환자들이 지각한 부모 양육태도, 질병인식과 불안간의 관계)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to identify the relationships among perceived parental bonding, illness perception, and anxiety and to determine the influences of perceived parental bonding and illness perception on anxiety in adult patients with congenital heart diseases. Methods: In this study a descriptive correlational design with survey method was utilized. The participants were 143 adult patients with congenital heart disease being cared for in the cardiology out-patient clinic of A medical center. Data were collected using the Parental Bonding Instrument, Illness Perception Questionnaire Revised Scale, and Cardiac Anxiety Questionnaire Scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis, and hierarchial regression analyses. Results: There showed significant positive relationships of anxiety with maternal overprotection, consequences, and personal control respectively. Among predictors, maternal overprotection (${\beta}=.45$), consequence (${\beta}=.26$), and personal control (${\beta}=-.03$) had statistically significant influence on anxiety. Conclusion: Nursing interventions to decrease maternal overprotection and negative consequence, and to enhance personal control are essential to decrease the anxiety of adult patients with congenital heart diseases.
