  • We have carried out two-beam interference experiments to form holographic gratings on chalcogenide $Ag/As_{40}Se_{15}S_{35}Ge_{10}$ multi-layer. In this study, holographic gratings have been formed using He-Ne laser(632.8nm) under different polarization combinations(intensity polarization holography, phase polarization holography). The diffraction efficiency was obtained by +1st order intensity and formed grating structure was investigated using atomic force microscopy.

  • We have been carried out the two-beam interference method to form the diffraction grating on chalcogenide $AS_{40}Se_{15}S_{35}Ge_{10}$ thin films for Holography Data Storage (HDS). In the present work, we have been formed holographic diffraction gratings using He-Ne laser (632.8nm) under different Polarization state combinations (intensity polarization holography, phase polarization holography). It was obtained the diffraction grating efficiency by 11st order intensity and investigated the formed grating structure using Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). As the results, it is shown that the diffraction efficiency of (P: P) polarized recording was maximum 2.4% and we found that its value was rather higher than that of other-polarized recordings. From the results, it is confirmed that the efficient holographic grating formation on amorphous chalcogenide $AS_{40}Se_{15}S_{35}Ge_{10}$ films depend on both the spatial variation of intensity and the polarization state of the incident field pattern.

  • Amorphous chalcogenide thin films, especially a-(Se, S) based films, exhibit a number of photoinduced phenomena not observed in other types of amorphous thin films. The polarization holographic grating has been formed in amorphous As-Ge-Se-S thin films using two linearly polarized He-Ne laser light. In addition, dffraction efficiency has been measured by the same laser of a relative lower intensity at the same time.

  • In this study, we have investigated the holographic grating formation on Ag-doped amorphous chalcogenide AsGeSeS thin films with Ag thickness. Ag/AsGeSeS thin films with the incident laser beam wavelength for the improvement of the polarization diffraction grating efficiency. Holographic gratings have been formed using Diode Pumped Solid State laser (DPSS, 532.0nm) under [P:P] polarized the intensity polarization holography. The diffraction efficiency was obtained by +1st order intensity. The result is shown that the diffraction efficiency of Ag/AsGeSeS double layer thin film for the Ag thickness, the maximum grating diffraction efficiency using 60nm Ag layer is 0.96%.

  • In this paper, we investigated the diffraction efficiency of polarization holography using by amorphous $Ag/As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}$ multi-layer thin films by He-Ne laser. Multi-layer structures were formed by alternating a layer of meta1(Ag) and chalcogenide( $Ag/As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}$ ). The holographic grating in these thin flims has been formed using a linealy polarized He-Ne laser light (633nm). The diffraction efficiency was investigated the two sample of $Ag/As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}-7$ layers and $Ag/As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}-15$ layers. As the results, we found that the diffraction efficiency of $Ag/As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}-7$ layers and $Ag/As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}-15$ layers were 1.7% and 2.5% respectively.

  • We have carried out two-beam interference experiment to form holographic grating on amorphous $As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}/Ag$ double-layer. In this study holographic grating formed using He-Ne laser(632.8nm) under non-polarization state and p-polarization state and we confirm that the diffraction efficiency depend on thickness of Ag. The diffraction efficiency was obtained by first order intensity. We got the maximum diffraction efficiency that thickness of Ag was $600{\AA}$. The maximum diffraction efficiency was 13.5% in (P:P) polarization state.

  • A holographic demultiplexer aimed at producing low polarization dependence loss using a long period volumetric diffraction grating inside photopolymer has been reported and experimentally demonstrated. To obtain the long period gratings, two kinds of gratings are recorded by angle of $4^{\circ}\;and\;6^{\circ}$ corresponding to the polarization dependence property of below 0.5 dB. From the experimental results, we demonstrate the 0.8 nm-spaced 21 channel holographic demultiplexer with the polarization dependence loss of less than -0.38 dB, the channel uniformity of 0.495 dB, and the channel crosstalk of -13 dB.

  • In this study, we have made the large holographic surface relief gratings on amorphous chalcogenide $As_{40}$$Ge_{10}$$Se_{15}$$S_{35}$ films by two beam interference using a He-Ne laser(632.8nm) light. The film thickness was about 0.6$\mu\textrm{m}$, we could magnify beam size by using beam expander. We made use $90^{\circ}$ holder which was made of reflection mirror and sample. Formed the surface relief structures were investigated using optical microscope. The diffraction efficiency was obtained by measuring +lst order intensity. In addition we investigated grating formation and diffraction efficiency as a function of polarization states which is linear or circular polarization. The results indicate that the grating was formed by linear polarized beam is better clear than that by circular polarized beam.
