주문생산시스템하의 생산계획 모듈 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of Production Planning Module for Order-made Production System)

  • Many enterprises are performing the production planning computerization for survival in unlimited competing period. But it is very difficult to directly apply many production planning softwares to the domain-specific areas of many small enterprises because one enterprise is different from the others with respect to product type, production process, and order fulfillment method. Practically most small enterprises depend on experienced production managers in production planning, so then many problems such as overtime work and cost have been appeared. The purpose of this study is to develop production planning module for order-made production system in order to reduce overtime works and surplus costs. We developed production planning module with RDBMS, which is fit for small manufacturing company. Developing this software, we use Visual Basic 5.0 to provide GUI environment for the production planning module and Microsoft Access 97 is used to construct Database. This production planning module is applied to enhancement of productivity in M manufacturing company located in Asan.

A new burn-up module for application in fuel performance calculations targeting the helium production rate in (U,Pu)O2 for fast reactors

  • In light of the importance of helium production in influencing the behaviour of fast reactor fuels, in this work we present a burn-up module with the objective to calculate the production of helium in both in-pile and out-of-pile conditions tracking the evolution of 23 alpha-decaying actinides. This burn-up module relies on average microscopic cross-section look-up tables generated via SERPENT high-fidelity calculations and involves the solution of the system of Bateman equations for the selected set of actinide nuclides. The results of the burn-up module are verified in terms of evolution of actinide and helium concentrations by comparing them with the high-fidelity ones from SERPENT, considering two representative test cases of (U,Pu)O2 fuel in fast reactor conditions. In addition, a code-to-code comparison is made with the independent state-of-the-art module TUBRNP (implemented in the TRANSURANUS fuel performance code) for the same test cases. The herein presented burn-up module is available in the SCIANTIX code, designed for coupling with fuel performance codes.

  • This paper discusses planning and scheduling problems for efficient utilization of an FMS and presents an integrated decision support system for FMS production planning and scheduling problems. The decision support system, FMSDS(Flexible Manufacturing Systems Decision Support System), includes of data of handling module, part selection module, loading module, load adjusting module, scheduling module and simulation module etc. This paper includes the solution methodology of each subproblem. And an integrated interface scheme between the subproblems is presented. The interface scheme considers the relationships between the subproblems and generates solution using hierarchical and looping approaches. FMSDS is made up of six alternative models considering 3 loading objectives and 2 production order processing strategies. Performance comparisons among 6 alternatives and other decision support systems are shown using the non-terminating simulation techniques.

  • In this study, a manufacturing process for PV module has been developed using an automatic arraying equipment. It is expected that this process could improve the productivity and curtail the production cost in the photovoltaic module production line. From the results, it is proved that this process reduces Line-stop and enhances the productivity more than 15% a day which can be related directly to the production line cost.

  • This paper introduces the case study that has been performed at the block paint shop, Hyundai Heavy Industries. First of all, the overall production processes of shipbuilding and research activities conducted by Korean are reviewed with a view-point of production planning. Then HYPOS(Hyundai heavy industries Painting shop Operation System) project is briefly described, which has several modules such as planning module, scheduling module, work order module, and DB(database) management module. Although the HYPOS system has several modules, this paper mainly focuses on the planning module that utilizes the rough-cut simulation algorithm to make a decision about the policy for production schedule. The HYPOS has been operated since June, 2000 and the operation data has been collected for the purpose of future evaluation about the performance of HYPOS system. The evaluation of HYPOS will be shown in a public domain as soon as the enough operation data is available.

Conceptual Design of Production Planning and Scheduling Module to Improve Delivery Quality

  • The procedure and implementation of an simulation based production planning and scheduling system. Production planning and scheduling is important problem in manufacturing field. It is so important for delivery quality as well as productivity, too. In this paper, heuristic production planning and scheduling module for improving delivery quality and productivity will be discussed. Beginning with total demand and initial work in process, the algorithms for production scheduling and planning can efficiently generate a feasible production resources and capacity schedule results in high resource utilization, minimum number of the late orders and reduced labor variability. The algorithm is executed to achieve the best on time delivery performance. The developed heuristic algorithms in the module will be expected to provide the better delivery performance and productivity.

  • 본 논문에서는 TFT-LCD(Thin Film Transistor-Liquid Crystal Display) 제조 공정 중 Module 공정의 Slim MES(Manufacturing Execution System)를 위한 생산계획 프레임워크(framework)개발에 관해 연구한다. TFT-LCD 제조 공정 중 Module 공정의 라인 구성 및 기능은 각 제조 현장마다 차이가 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 차이를 반영하는 제조현장 맞춤형 MES를 위한 생산계획 프레임워크를 제시한다. 먼저 TFT-LCD Module 공정의 분석을 통해 생산계획 프로세스를 파악한다. 그런 다음 현장 상황 제약조건을 반영한 수리적 모델링을 제시하고 이에 대한 최적 스케줄의 도출을 사례를 통해 제시한다. 또한 현장 상황을 반영한 디스패칭(dispatching) 룰에 의한 스케줄 생성 과정을 제시하고 성능실험 결과를 제시한다. 마지막으로 Slim MES를 위한 생산계획 프레임워크 설계 과정을 제시한다.

형상모듈 조합의 이용 가능 여부를 활용한 생산 스케줄링 방법 (A production scheduling Method considering Usability of Form Module Combinations)

  • 최근 많은 제조 기업들이 에너지 비용과 환경 인식의 증가로 인해 에너지 효율에 더 많은 관심을 기울이고 있다. 생산 시스템의 에너지 효율적인 생산스케줄링은 생산에 필요한 에너지 효율을 개선하고 비용을 절감하는 효과적인 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 타이어 생산 문제를 상정하고, 일정한 종류와 형상 모듈 종류 및 각 타이어별 주문량, 생산 모듈의 개수 및 각 종류별 생산시간을 고려하여 생산스케줄링을 구축하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 효과적인 생산스케줄링에 용이하도록 현 상태에서 이용가능한 형상 모듈 종류 및 개수를 고려하여, 다음 단계에서 생산하기로 선택이 가능한 타이어 종류를 부가적인 입력으로 이용하였고, 주문량 이상의 추가 생산이 가능하도록 하였다. 그리하여 평균 62퍼센트 가량의 생산모듈 가동률을 얻었다.

A surrogate model for the helium production rate in fast reactor MOX fuels

  • Helium production in the nuclear fuel matrix during irradiation plays a critical role in the design and performance of Gen-IV reactor fuel, as it represents a life-limiting factor for the operation of fuel pins. In this work, a surrogate model for the helium production rate in fast reactor MOX fuels is developed, targeting its inclusion in engineering tools such as fuel performance codes. This surrogate model is based on synthetic datasets obtained via the SCIANTIX burnup module. Such datasets are generated using Latin hypercube sampling to cover the range of input parameters (e.g., fuel initial composition, fission rate density, and irradiation time) and exploiting the low computation requirement of the burnup module itself. The surrogate model is verified against the SCIANTIX burnup module results for helium production with satisfactory performance.

금형 생산관리를 위한 응용 소프트웨어의 개발 (Development of an Application Software for the Die-Production Information Management)

  • This paper deals with the development of a software module for production planning and scheduling activities of an actual die-production management system. Scheduling problems, such as master schedule and detailed schedule, are the focal point of the whole article and they are considered in terms of operation procedures. Schedule-explosion module and load levelling module are the essential components of schedule management. The scheduling module allocates the resources, determines the process priority and the planned start and completion dates of processes. Rescheduling can be done to manipulate unforeseen situations that schedule is delayed owing to inducing defectives, machine breakdowns and lumpy demands. This study indicates a practical model for the die-producation management and helps to apply it for jobs in the real situation.
