This study was conducted to compare the paternal rearing behavior and rearing stress level between fathers with a preschooler and fathers with school children so that it can be utilized as a basic source for developing parental rearing education programs. Methods. A descriptive comparative methods was conducted to identify the paternal rearing behavior and paternal rearing stress. Respondents were 361 fathers who had either preschoolers (n=189) or children of elementary age (n=l72). Results. Comparing the two group's means, the rearing activity score and rearing stress there were significant differences. In the school children's group's father, 'outdoor activity' and 'guidance on discipline activity' were significantly higher than the other group. In the preschool children's fathers group, 'play interaction activity' was statistically significant higher than the other, and the child-part mean score of paternal rearing stress was significantly higher than the other group. The correlation between paternal rearing behavior and paternal rearing stress, it can be shown that more paternal rearing behavior means less paternal rearing stress. Conclusion. These results of this study will help design rearing program for fathers that have either preschool children or school children by providing the basic data for paternal rearing behaviors and paternal rearing stress.

Methods: The subjects were 23 immigrant pregnant women who voluntarily participated in the study in D city. The program was provided, once a week for 90 minutes for a period of 3 weeks. The outcome variables were child-rearing knowledge, child-rearing stress, and child rearing self-efficacy. Data was collected from April 4 to June 24, 2011, through self-administered questionnaires. Results: The program significantly improved child rearing knowledge, child rearing stress, and newborn care self-efficacy for married immigrant pregnant women who participated in the program compared to women who did not participate. Conclusion: The results suggest that the reproductive health promotion program has an affirmative effect on child-rearing knowledge, child rearing stress, and child rearing self-efficacy of married immigrant pregnant women. • The purpose of this study was to clarify how preschooler's adaptive temperament and father's child-rearing involvement may be related to mother's chid-rearing stress. The subjects were 320 mothers whose children were 3, 4 or 5 age preschoolers attending day care centers in Keoungbok. Statistical techniques were Pearson's correlation, hierarchical multiple regression(using SPSS 12.0). The results of this were as follows. 1. Mother's child-rearing stress was negatively related to preschooler's adaptive temperament. 2. Mother's child-rearing stress was negatively related to father's child-rearing involvement. 3. The Multiple Regression analysis showed that preschooler's adaptive temperament and father's child-rearing involvement were significantly predictive to mother's child-rearing stress. And preschooler's adaptive temperament was the stronger predictor of mother's child-rearing stress than father's child-rearing involvement. There was no significant interaction effect of father's child-rearing involvement and preschooler's adaptive temperament on mother's child-rearing stress.

Methods: The participants of this study were 201 fathers who are raising children in J region. The data were collected by self-report using questionnaires from August to September, 2015. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficient, Scheffe test, and stepwise multiple linear regression with the SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: The total mean scores of occupational stress on the subjects were 40.98(${\pm}8.36$), rearing attitude were $68.54({\pm}7.18$), rearing participation were $73.16({\pm}11.34$). The study showed that occupational stress is negatively correlated with rearing participation and rearing attitude positively correlated with rearing participation. Working style and rearing attitude were identified of rearing participation. Conclusion: A father's rearing participation level was influenced by father's attitude of caring children above all. In addition, fathers' working styles were also a main factor. Therefore, it is necessary for fathers to learn rearing attitudes in a way that can develop a nursing intervention program to increase their rearing participation level.

  • This study was carried out to observe the possibility of special rearing of young silkworm for a simple cooperative rearing in the indoor vinyl house. The results of this study are as follows. 1. Temperature and humidity were regulated reasonably in the indoor vinyl house in comparison with general rearing and covered rearing with damp-proof and all workings in it were more convenient. 2. Duration of silkworm life was same in the covered rearing with damp-proof and indoor vinyl house, but general rearing was longer spring rearing silkworm period, 5 hours and autumn young silkworm period. 6 hours than indoor vinyl house. 3. In the mortality ratio, missing larvae of general rearing was more than any other treatments in spring and autumn. There was no difference between covered rearing with damp-proof and indoor vinyl house rearing, but missing larvae seemed to be a little indoor vinyl house. 4. In the individual cocoon ratio there was no significance in spring and autumn, but best cocoon ratio was high in the special rearing and good and low cocoon ratio was high in the general rearing. 5. In the cocoon weight of 10,000 3rd moulted silkworm. cocoon weight of general rearing was less than any other treatments in spring rearing season, and that of covered rearing with damp-proof and indoor vinyl house rearing It was same result. 6. There was no significance in the cocoon layer ratio in spring and autumn, but that of covered rearing with damp-proof and indoor vinyl house was high in comparison with general rearing. 7. As showed above, it is considered that the rearing of indoor vinyl house is worth as special rearing of young silkworm for simple cooperative rearing because it showed good records with three times feedings a day in comparison with general rearing and covered rearing with damp-proof.
