  • The OSGi framework is a java-based service platform that can be remotely managed, providing an application life cycle management model, a service registry and an execution environment. Based on the framework, various OSGi layers, APIs, and services have been defined. A bundle is an application that can be executed in the OSGi framework, deployed through a bundle repository. Usually, bundles in the repository are accessible via a designated web page. Unfortunately, the current bundle repositories do not provide any kind of group access services and dynamic bundle installation and deployment. In this paper, we describe a WebDAV-Based OSGi bundle repository named WOBR, which supports effective group-based accesses. WOBR is composed of a WOBR bundle repository, a management bundle and an access bundle that interact with the bundle repository. The management bundle is for configuration of the WOBR bundle repository, managing group access facility to the repository. The access bundle provides access to the repository and search mechanism for the bundles. Additionally, it provides the life cycle management of the installed bundles on the local environment.

  • Open access is a paradigm whereby the electronic versions of scholarly publications are made freely accessible without any restrictions. It is actively promoted globally and is also promoted domestically in accordance with this global trend. However, there is a growing need to evaluate existing activities and to seek policies for the steady spread of open access. This study examines the necessity of switching to a national repository from existing institutional repositories through policy direction analysis of open repositories. We examined domestic open access policies by analysing various overseas cases and the situation in South Korea. Finally, we determined the validity of investment in a national repository by analysing its social and economic impacts using the modified Solow-Swan model. The main parameters for applying the modified Solow-Swan model were estimated, and the domestic research and development expenditure was predicted via a regression method. Then, we applied a range of rate of returns to research and development (10% to 50%) to various scenarios and examined the effects of increasing accessibility and efficiency by 1% to 10%. We found that the implementation of a national open access repository in South Korea would have a substantial impact (to the tune of 147 billion won), without considering the potential costs of such a repository. Based on the estimates of the social and economic impact of a national repository, the implementation of a national open access repository in South Korea is economically viable. Besides having beneficial social and economic impacts, a national repository is expected to enhance awareness of open access among Korean researchers and institutions.

  • This study predicted temperature in the disposal tunnels using computational fluid dynamics based on natural ventilation quantity that comes from high altitude and temperature differences that are the characteristics of high level waste repository. The result of the previous study that evaluated quantitatively natural ventilation quantity using a hydrostatic method and CFD shows that significant natural ventilation quantity is generated. From the result, this study performed the prediction of temperature in disposal tunnels by natural ventilation quantity by the caloric values of the wastes, at both deep geological repository and surface repository. The result of analysis shows that deep geological repository is effective for thermal control in the disposal tunnels due to heat transfer to rock and the generation of sufficient natural ventilation quantity, while surface repository was detrimental to thermal control, because surface repository was strongly affected by external temperature, and could not generate sufficient natural ventilation quantity. Moreover, this study found that in the case of deep geological repository with a depth of 200 m, the heatof about $10^{\circ}C$ was transferred to the depth of 500 m. Thus, it is considered that if the high level waste repository scheduled to be built in the country is designed placing an emphasis on thermal control, deep geological repository rather than surface repository is more appropriate.

  • Currently, many companies are trying to be more competitive by implementing the most appropriate software package, called ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). ERP can support the company's business process. A repository, which can story and retrieve enterprise-wide information, is a key component of such software package. This paper implements an enterprise repository for the ERP. A wellknown repository standard, IRDS (Information Resource Dictionary System), is employed for the repository architecture. A meta schema that can help develop database, business applications, models, and workflow is proposed. To illustrate the practical usefulness, a real-life ERP prototype is built within the framework of the proposed repository.

  • For research data to be shared without legal, financial and technical barriers in the Open Science era, data repositories must have the functional requirements asked by DMP and CoreTrustSeal. In order to derive functional requirements for the data repository, this study analyzed the Data Management Plan (DMP) and CoreTrustSeal, the criteria for certification of research data repositories. Deposit, Ethics, License, Discovery, Identification, Reuse, Security, Preservation, Accessibility, Availability, and (Meta) Data Quality, commonly required by DMP and CoreTrustSeal, were derived as functional requirements that should be implemented first in implementing data repositories. Confidentiality, Integrity, Reliability, Archiving, Technical Infrastructure, Documented Storage Procedure, Organizational Infrastructure, (Meta) Data Evaluation, and Policy functions were further derived from CoreTrustSeal. The functional requirements of the data repository derived from this study may be required as a key function when developing the repository. It is also believed that it could be used as a key item to introduce repository functions to researchers for depositing data.

  • Because of increasing concerns regarding global warming and the longevity of oil and gas reserves, the importance of nuclear energy as a major source of sustainable energy is gaining recognition worldwide. To make nuclear energy truly sustainable, it is necessary to ensure not only the sustainability of the fuel supply but also the sustained availability of waste repositories, especially those for high-level radioactive waste (HLW). From this perspective, the effort to maximize the waste loading density in a given repository is important for easing repository capacity problems. In most cases, the loading of a repository is controlled by the decay heat of the emplaced waste. In this paper, a comparison of the decay heat characteristics of HLW is made among the various fuel cycle options. It is suggested that, for a future fast breeder reactor (FBR) cycle, the removal and burning of minor actinides (MA) would significantly reduce the heat load in waste and would allow for a reduction of repository size by half.

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient repository model for online software education. The software education of app development consists of 7 stages: coding & debugging, submit, collaboration, review, validate, deployment, certification. Proposed repository model supports all 7 stages efficiently. In the coding & debugging stage, the students repeat coding and debugging of source. In the submit stage, the output of previous process such as source codes, project, and videos, are uploaded to repository server. In the collaboration stage, other students or experts can optimize or upgrade version of source code, project, and videos stored in the repository. In the review stage, mentors can review and send feedbacks to students. In the validate stage, the specialists validate the source code, project, and the videos. In the deployment stage, the verified source code, project, and videos are deployed. In the certification stage, the source code, project, and the videos are evaluated to issue the certificate.
