The field of international management has consistently been recognized as one of the key research pillars in the grand scope of trade studies. In this paper, we conducted critical review on literatures of international management, which were published in Korea Trade Review from 1975 to 2019. Especially, this paper analyzed 'when did research results in the field of international management appear in Korea Trade Review for the first time?', 'how many papers in the field of international management have been published in Korea Trade Review so far?', 'what topics have the papers in the field of international management published in Korea Trade Review mainly described?', and 'what research methods have the papers in the field of international management published in Korea Trade Review adopted?' In particular, this paper compared the similarities and differences between the research issues in leading global journals and those of international management research papers published in Korea Trade Review. In addition, some implications for future research would be suggested regarding what characteristics of international management studies will be meaningful to be published in the Korea Trade Review.

Typically, we regularly have carried out a technical review to know a progress status and outcomes of a project to the appropriate technical plans. But during the technical review executed at a planned point of time, lots of problems; reports of an ambiguous progress status and outcomes, a discordance between opinions, and an hour's delay, have been occurred. To solve those problems an early stage, an informal reviews are executed before the formal technical review. One of the informal review is the Peer-Review. This paper is a matter of the effective and efficient Reer-Review process utilized in performing the national research and development project. Additionally, it was presented a general misunderstanding and improvement plan about the Peer-Review.

Mobile applications can be easily downloaded and installed via markets. However, malware and malicious applications containing unwanted advertisements exist in these application markets. Therefore, smartphone users install applications with reference to the application review to avoid such malicious applications. An application review typically comprises contents for evaluation; however, a false review with a specific purpose can be included. Such false reviews are known as fake reviews, and they can be generated using artificial intelligence (AI)-based text-generating models. Recently, AI-based text-generating models have been developed rapidly and demonstrate high-quality generated texts. Herein, we analyze the features of fake reviews generated from Generative Pre-Training-2 (GPT-2), an AI-based text-generating model and create a model to detect those fake reviews. First, we collect a real human-written application review from Kaggle. Subsequently, we identify features of the fake review using natural language processing and statistical analysis. Next, we generate fake review detection models using five types of machine-learning models trained using identified features. In terms of the performances of the fake review detection models, we achieved average F1-scores of 0.738, 0.723, and 0.730 for the fake review, real review, and overall classifications, respectively.

The purpose of the study is to suggest ways to improve the Landscape Review system and Landscape Management System of Jeju Special Self-governing Province through Analysis of the Landscape Review Results and Jeju Special Self-governing Ordinance. For this purpose, the research methods were reviewed for preliminary study and reviewing the laws and ordinances related to landscape, and 318 cases of landscape review, which have been implemented since 2010, were analyzed by item by item along with the result of the review. The main results of the analysis are as follows. First, Jeju Special Self-governing Province, which currently operates an enhanced ordinance of development project review, is experiencing problems such as building the wrong construction projects due to the weak legal basis for follow-up management after landscape Review. Second, Jeju Special Self-governing Province expects efficient management of the province through expansion of the scope of the landscape review. Third, the current status of the decisions by the Landscape review showed that 57.7% of the bills passed, the lowest at 41.9% for the development projects. Fourth, analysis of the landscape review contents by categorization by item showed that ' Landscape Control Guideline' and 'Document not completed' are relatively high. Thus, eight years have passed since the start of the Landscape Management System and the Landscape Review, but systematic institutional stability is not sufficient, so it is necessary to make the Landscape Control Guideline easier to understand.

Many studies have proposed several factors that affect review helpfulness. Previous studies have investigated the effect of quantitative factors (e.g., star ratings) and affective factors (e.g., sentiment scores) on review helpfulness. Online reviews contain titles and contents, but existing studies focus on the review content. However, there is a limitation to investigating the factors that affect review helpfulness based on the review content without considering the review title. However, previous studies independently investigated the effect of review content and title on review helpfulness. However, it may ignore the potential impact of similarity between review titles and content on review helpfulness. This study used text consistency between review titles and content affect review helpfulness based on the mere exposure effect theory. We also considered the role of information clearness, review length, and source reliability. The results show that text consistency between the review title and the content negatively affects the review helpfulness. Furthermore, we found that information clearness and source reliability weaken the negative effects of text consistency on review helpfulness.

In this study, the picture book reviews shown in Korean periodicals were analyzed to provide the developmental foundation for picture book reviews and expand the professional area of librarians as the producers of book review. Through the literature research and the Delphi Technique the desirable standard of book reviews was suggested, the contents in domestic book review mediums were analyzed for the rightness of describing based on the standard of the book review and henceforward the way of development was suggested. The result from analysis of book review showed that the outstanding book reviews should be more produced based on the desirable standard of book review and the evaluative statements should be developed more than the descriptive statements. Depending on the mediums the contents of the book review were different by the book reviewers' occupations, so the book reviewers should develop their professional knowledges in literature and art. Because the longer book review made the outstanding book review with the rightness of the desirable standard of book review, the certain quantity of book review should be needed and the role of librarians as the book reviewers should be further extended.

Starting from April, 2003, new pre-review system has been introduced and implemented to reduce unnecessary conflict with medical care organizations caused by current retrospective claim review system and to enhance efficiency of review system. The main purpose of pre-review system is to educate doctors to contrive adequacy of medical services. This research mainly focuses on effectiveness of pre-review system's influence on physicians' behavior changes. The analysis-participants were drawn from 1,449 clinics which implemented pre-review system, since April of 2003. The research results are as followings. First, the amount per claim has reduced by $\\3,154$, days of visit per claim by 0.1 day, and amount per visit by $\\412$, which were statistically significant. Second, anesthesiologists have decreased in three indicators the most, and the internists had least of changes. Third, the amount per claim and days of visit per claims has dropped significantly on physicians with less periods of practice and physicians with more ages. Fourth, the clinics without the expensive medical equipments, the city clinics showed significant decrease on days of visit per claim. Fifth, in intervention methods, the one-to-one education showed more significant decrease on amount per visit rather than information feedback by paper. In conclusion, the pre-review system have an impact on self-imposed physician behavioral change. The outcome of this research may be utilized for future extension implementation of pre-review system. Furthermore, it is showed that ability of transitions in medical services review system according to the future transition of payment system and context of health service policy.

While applying the systems engineering (SE) in systems development, a series of technical reviews play a critical role and is intended to monitor the status of the progress and outcomes of the project for which appropriate technical plans prepared earlier should be executed. It is noted however that during the technical review executed as planned, a lot of problems usually come out. Included are the ambiguity in the reports of the progress status and outcomes, discrepancies among the opinions from different participants, and the delay in carrying out the tasks. To solve those problems in an early stage, informal reviews are usually adopted before the formal technical reviews are held. A type of the informal reviews is the peer review. This paper is concerned with the peer review process model to make the later technical reviews more effective. Specifically, we first review the necessity and meaning of the peer reviews. We then study a model for the peer review process. To model the process, the methods of an IDEF modeling and schema definition have been applied using a computer-aided SE tool, Cradle(R), in the environment of the national research and development project. As a result, the implemented process model can show hew the peer review process is designed and managed to be utilized in the technical review. The documents related with the peer review process can also be generated automatically from the developed model Database. Finally, a general misunderstanding about the peer review and its improvement plan have also been mentioned.

Many prior studies have been conducted that positive reviews increase the intention to purchase. However, there are very few papers that have studied the impact of review search on purchase satisfaction. It is meaningful to study the impact of review search on purchase satisfaction as it can lead the business successfully by inducing repurchase. There is also no study of how review search have different effects on purchase satisfaction among countries. Given the growing number of cross-border e-commerce, we believe that the need for research is high because identifying these differences between countries can have a very important impact on a company's successful overseas expansion. Therefore, in this study, the impact of positive and negative review search on purchase satisfaction and the national impact were set up as a research model. In order to verify this research model, the survey was distributed to those who experienced online purchase in Korea and China, and a total of 234 copies were collected, including 125 copies in Korea, 109 copies in China, and the research model was verified using Smart-PLS structural equation analysis tools. First, positive review search has been shown to positively affect purchase satisfaction. Second, it has been shown that negative review search also has a positive effect on purchase satisfaction. Third, the impact of positive and negative review search on purchase satisfaction was different between Korea and China. While Korea is more aggressive in review search than China due to its high tendency to avoid uncertainty, China is less likely to avoid uncertainty than Korea and is more likely to rely on brand familiarity. Therefore, according to the uncertainty avoidance moderation effect the impact of positive and negative review search on purchase satisfaction was higher in Korea than in China. In this study, Shopping mall managers need to take strategic measures to maximize shopping mall performance by recognizing positive aspects of negative review search on purchase satisfaction. Companies and managers in Korea and China can establish strategies to promote product sales when companies enter the global market.

Purpose: This study aims to examine how to review contents of experiential and utilitarian products (e.g., skincare products) and how to affect review helpfulness by applying natural language processing techniques. Research design, data, and methodology: This study uses 69,633 online reviews generated for the products registered at Amazon.com by 13 Korean cosmetic firms. The authors identify key topics that emerge about consumers' use of skincare products such as skin type and skin trouble, by applying bigram analysis. The review content variables are included in the review helpfulness model, including other important determinants. Results: The estimation results support the positive effect of review extremity and content on the helpfulness. In particular, the reviewer's skin type information was recognized as highly useful when presented together as a basis for high-rated reviews. Moreover, the content related to skin issues positively affects review helpfulness. Conclusions: The positive relationship between extreme reviews and helpfulness of reviews challenges the findings from prior literature. This result implies that an in-depth study of the effect of product types on review helpfulness is needed. Furthermore, a positive effect of review content on helpfulness suggests that applying big data analytics can provide meaningful customer insights in the online retail industry.
