The Effect of Success Factors on SCM Performance in Fashion Industry Stream (패션산업 스트림에 따라 SCM 성공요인이 SCM 성과에 미치는 영향연구)

  • Fashion industry characteristically goes through many steps to manufacture and to retail apparel products. Complex inter-industry channels with many intermediaries in fashion industry provoked many problems regarding recognizing customer's need, delivering time, flexibility, and inventory control. Therefore, the purposes of this study were to investigate the differences between apparel manufacturing and distribution process in SCM success factors and performances, and to investigate how SCM success factors affect on performances. Questionnaire was developed and distributed to apparel industry. The returned 116 questionnaires were analyzed by Cronbach's alpha for internal validity, factor analysis, t-test, and regression analysis with SPSS14.0. The results of this study were as follows: There was significant difference of SCM success factors between apparel manufacturing and distribution regarding process standardization and integration. There were significant differences of SCM performances such as reaction for customer, flexible management, cost minimization, and maximized asset utilization which distribution was higher than apparel manufacturing process. In apparel manufacturing, SC strategic relation, and integrative management influenced upon reaction for customer of SCM performances. SC integrative management influenced upon cost minimization. SC integrative management influenced upon maximized asset utilization. In distribution, SC strategic relation, and activated support for SCM influenced upon reaction for customer of SCM performances. SCM specialization, credible relationship among supply chains, activated support for SCM, and SC integrative management influenced upon cost minimization. SCM specialization, credible relationship among supply chains, and SC integrative management influenced upon maximized asset utilization.

  • SCM(Supply Chain Management)는 생산의 전후방 프로세스를 하나의 일관된 프로세스로 보고 통합된 관리를 통하여 고객만족을 달성하려는 새로운 흐름이다. 반도체 산업은 생산프로세스가 타 산업보다 복잡하고 사이클 타임이 길며 또한 생산과정도 다른 여러 프로세스의 연결과정으로 구성되어 타 산업의 SCM 모델링과 다르게 정의되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 주문침투점을 기준으로 반도체 Push 형 SCM 모델과 Pull 형 SCM 모델로 구분하여 각각에 대한 수리적 모형을 제시함으로 생산에서 1차 소비자까지의 SCM 네트워크에 대한 정형화를 시도하였다. Push형 모델에서는 생산량 극대화를, Pull형 모델에서는 납기만족을 전제로 한 이익의 최대화를 목표로 한다.

  • SCM(Supply Chain Management) is one of the important issues in internet-based business environment. This study intends to suggest a research model to investigate the influence of environmental, organizational, technical factors on successful SCM system implementation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the organizational characteristics of SCM adoption on successful implementation of SCM systems, including the moderating effects of competitiveness. 122 companies data were collected by survey. The results of hypothesis testing showed that project management is the most important determinants to influence successful SCM system implementation. In addition to that, top management support, IS maturity have positive influence to successful implementation of SCM systems in direct effect model. Also, the results of hypothesis testing in moderating effect model show that competitiveness has a positive impact to successful implementation of SCM systems.

  • The WDM/SCM-FTTH is an advanced optical access Network that can efficiently support various kinds of access network requirements using the WDM and SCM technologies in the near future. In this paper, we propose new network structures of the FTTH(Fiber To The Home) in the WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) and WDM/SCM(Sub-Carrier Multiplexing) FTTH, and evaluate its performance with simulation results for the optical characteristics of the network and the dynamic allocation of bandwidth on demand of the users.

  • Industrial society has changed to information society in these day. Even through the core issue of information society is the creation of competency and profit of corporations, the implementation of SCM packages is not popular. The reason why companies hesitate to introduce SCM packages is that the performance enhancement by the implementation of SCM is not clear. This paper addresses the effect of financial performance according to IT the implementation of SCM packages. Eight financial performance measures were selected based on the literature review. Financial data on the fifteen companies that implemented SCM packages before December, 2003 were collected considering the differences on performance measures between before and after the SCM implementation.

  • Supply Chain Management (SCM) system is a critical investment that can affect the competitiveness and performance of a company. Selection of a right SCM system is one of the critical issues. This paper presents the characteristic factors of SCM system and a Fuzzy AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) based decision-making model for SCM system evaluation and selection. This study focuses on quantitative factors, applying the fuzzy concept to various evaluative factors. The proposed model can systematically construct the objectives of SCM system selection to achieve the business goals. A empirical example demonstrates the feasibility of the proposed model and the model can help a company to make better decision-making in the SCM system selection problem.

  • 기업간 경쟁의 격화와 정보기술의 발달로 인하여 많은 기업들이 공급사슬관리(SCM)를 도입하고 있다. 이에 따라, 공급사슬상의 관련 기업간의 상호작용과 정보공유에 기반한 공급사슬 통합이 추진되고 있으며, 웹서비스와 같은 시스템에 독립적인 기술 적용의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 웹서비스를 이용하면서도 높은 수준의 공급사슬 통합이 이루어지기 위해서는, 여러 상호작용주체가 참여하는 글로벌 프로세스 수준에서 SCM 프로세스를 관리하고 제어할 필요가 있으며, 본 논문에서는 비즈니스 프로세스 자동화 및 관리도구로 최근 각광을 받고 있는 BPM을 도입하여 각 업무단위가 웹서비스로 구성된 환경에서 SCM을 구성하는 프로세스를 효과적으로 통합하여 실행하는 방안을 제시한다. 이러한 접근법은 SCM 프로세스의 진행과정을 보다 효율적으로 관리, 모니터링하는 것이 가능하며, SCM 프로세스의 수행결과를 토대로 프로세스의 개선에 대한 방안을 모색할 수 있다. 또한, SCM 프로세스의 진행과정에서 의사결정이 필요한 경우 이에 대한 지인 에이전트를 웹서비스로 구성하여 보다 신속한 프로세스 수행을 가능하게 한다.

  • This study explores how bargaining power and partnership effect on the SCM main results namely flexibility, agility, and control of uncertainty. To test the suggested model, this study used a data set generated from online and offline survey. The 140 sets of data collected, which companies use SCM, were tested against the model using SPSS 23 and smartPLS 3.2.3. The results of this study are as follows. First, Bargaining power had an effect on partnership. Second, partnership had an effect on the SCM agility, flexibility, control of uncertainty.

The effect of Buyer's Leadership on Vendor's Relational-orientation and SCM performance (공급체인리더십이 SCM 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Since companies are increasingly aware of the importance of upstream and downstream organizations to their performance, companies' leaders would also like to influence operations with supply chain partners. This paper aims to study the SCM performance and the influencing factors, that is Buyer's leadership and Vendor's relationship-orientation. Also, I try to examine the mediating effect of relationship-orientation between leadership and SCM performance. The results of this study can be summarized as follow; (1) The charismatic trait and individual consideration in transformational leadership factors, and contingent reward in transactional leadership factors positively effected to the relational-orientation. But intellectual stimulation and management-by-exception did not effected to relational-orientation. (2) Only contingent reward in transactional leadership factors was significantly related to the SCM performance. (3) Relational-orientation mediated between SCM leadership and SCM performance.

  • In the last decade, the issue of supply chain management(SCM) has emerged as a significant topic in the logistics literature in the developed countries. Also recently the concept of SCM has generated considerable interest in korean firms. However, there has been little systematic analysis of the experience of those companies that have used such SCM philosophy. This paper studies introduction and Application of Korean Trading Companies using SCM philosophy. This study forcuses on how Korean firms can use the SCM by reinforcing their logistics systems. The objectives of this paper are. 1. To develop an understanding of the forces that have created an interest in SCM. 2. To examine the obstacles encountered in implementing SCM. 3. To suggest the impact of the use of SCM and the directions for institutional Development.
