A Study on Paradigm Shift of Supply Chain Risk Management for SMEs (중소기업에서의 공급사슬 위험관리를 위한 패러다임 전환에 관한 연구)

  • It is very important the collaboration and risk management of supply chain between the parent company and its partners in the supply chain risk management(SCRM). It was known that the SCRM approach is very different between a large enterprise and a small and medium-sized enterprise. This paper deals with the suggestion about SCRM structure for a small and medium-sized enterprise. This SCRM structure consist of risk identification, risk assessment, and risk mitigation. We expect that this SCRM structure promote the collaboration between a parent company and its partners to alleviate the supply chain risk.

  • Due to the rise of automotive security problems following automotive safety and the progress of the internet technology leading to a hyper-connected society, guaranteeing the safety of automotive requires security plans in the supply chain assurance and automotive software, and risk management plans for identifying, evaluating, and controlling the risks that may occur from the supply chain since the modern automotive is a Safety Critical system. In this paper, we propose a study on Automotive Supply Chain Risk Management (A-SCRM) procedures by person interested within the automotive Life-Cycle.

A Study on the Selection of Pneumatic Components Using Similar Case (유사 사례를 이용한 공압 요소 선정에 관한 연구)

  • It is one of the most important thing to select pneumatic components in pneumatic system design. For the purpose of selecting pneumatic components, case objects are described as a knowledge representation and the most similar case object must be selected by decision making in computer. In this paper, case objects are represented using the methodology that is used for CBR(Case Base Reasoning) and methodology that the most similar case can be selected is Proposed. Algorithm VIWNNR(Varying Index Weight-based Nearer Neighbor Retrieval) is accomplished by varying index weight, that is not considering a index matching as true or false but varying a size of weight according to the degree of matching and enhance the flexibility of SCRM(Similar Case Retrieval Module) involving fuzzy concept in matching the cases. SCRM is tested In verify the feasibility to select pneumatic linear components and is peformed effectively.

A Study on Risk Management for Export Control on Strategic Trade in Supply Chain Management

  • In this study, AHP analysis was conducted through a survey that was organized by 9 job categories. The results show that sustainable operation risks have the highest priority level among all criteria with management interest having the highest priority level within sustainable operation risks related attributes. The most important risk attributes among stakeholder risks appeared to be asset security and cargo and conveyance security, with education and training being the most important among regulatory risks. Effective management and response to the risks from export controls on strategic trade require an understanding of supply chain security and compliance programs, effective training programs, investments for development of security systems that meet international standards. In addition, the government needs to focus on developing professionals and providing support for companies with compliance programs, working closely with businesses.

Elaboration and characterization of fiber-reinforced self-consolidating repair mortar containing natural perlite powder

  • This research project aimed at evaluating experimentally the effect of natural perlite powder as an alternative supplementary cementing material (SCM) on the performance of fiber reinforced self-consolidating repair mortars (FR-SCRMs). For this purpose, four FR-SCRMs mixes incorporating 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% of natural perlite powder as cement replacements were prepared. The evaluation was based on fresh (slump flow, flow time, and unit weight), hardened (air-dry unit weight, compressive and flexural strengths, dynamic modulus of elasticity), and durability (water absorption test) performances. The results reveal that structural repair mortars confronting the performance requirements of class R4 materials (European Standard EN 1504-3) could be designed using 10%, 20%, and 30% of perlite powder as cement substitutions. Bonding results between repair mortars containing perlite powder and old concrete substrate investigated by the slant shear test showed good interlocking justifying the effectiveness of these produced mortars.

  • SCRM is international standard for sharing and reusing of learning contents as unit of SCO. But when we want to reuse this learning content by modifying a portion of it in similar knowledge domain, there is a problem that modification of original content has to be made. This paper suggests I-SCO model that enables to develop inheritable contents to solve this problem. The I-SCO model increases the reusability of contents based on SCORM by means of supporting inheritance that includes overloading and overriding. In this paper, we design and implement the I-SCO model, and execute on the runtime environment which is distributed by ADL. This experimentation shows the inheritability of contents and proves the validity of I-SCO model.

  • This study gathered the factors of supply chain risk through literature review, and measured the importance of risk factors recognized by domestic companies. The purpose and necessity of this study are as follows. First, supply risk factors were classified and explored through empirical studies about supply chain risk. Most of the previous studies concentrated on the meaning of supply chain risk, but only in terms of concept approach Second, to evaluate the importance of supply-chain risk recognized by the companies, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process} method was proposed in this paper. Finally, this study suggests implications for companies' efficient supply activity by measuring the importance of supply-chain through AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process).

  • For the purpose of cost saving and sales promotion, various industry companies have introduced logistics management techniques in their field. However, enterprises faced to damages because proper products can not be provided to customers in basic logistics 3S1L(speedy, safely, surely, and low) principles for environments changing rapidly and inflexible business processes. So, we need the ability in coping with risk to handle this phenomenon. In particular, the shipper of key decisions of supply chain risk management requires continuous exchange and collection of logistics information in the third-party logistics. However the current SCRMS(Supply Chain Risk Management System) is not sufficient to cover the shipper's various needs and to recognize and respond to emergency situations. Therefore, this paper proposes an active SCRMS framework through the reconsideration about the previous research on SCRM and rearrangement of risk factors for coping with those problems. in addition, it verifies an efficiency through a stability comparison with the current system.

  • This study gathered the factor of supply chain risk through literature review, and measured the importance of risk factors which have been recognized by domestic companies. This study has purposes and necessities as follows. First, supply risk factors were classified and explored through positive studies about supply chain risk. Most of previous studies helps grasping the meaning of supply chain risk but limited in conceptual side. Second, this study used AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method which makes decision-making problem classified, simplicated and systematized to evaluate the importance of supply-chain risk recognized by the companies. Finally, this study suggests registration-point in companies's efficient supply activity would be great by measuring the importance of supply-chain through AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process).

  • An era of smart manufacturing is coming through the rapid development of information and communication technology. As a result, many companies have begun to utilize a variety of hardware and software for the efficient business of the manufacturing process. At this time, the hardware and software used are supplied through manufacturing and distribution processes. These supply processes are exposed to a variety of security threats. As the recent cases of supply chain attacks have increased, foreign countries are establishing supply chain management systems and managing supply chain risks. In Korea, on the other hand, there was research on supply chain risk management in some fields. In this paper, we emphasizes the necessity of supply chain risk management through supply chain attack cases. In addition, we analyze trends of foreign supply chain management system and explains the necessity of domestic supply chain security strategy.
