  • The purposes of this study were to reveal the kinematic and kinetic difference of hard ground soccer shoe, firm ground soccer shoe and soft ground soccer shoe. Soccer players were shoes of varying stud designs with some preferring the bladed studs while others opting for the conventional studded stud. Statistics were used one way-ANOVA and Tukey's Honestly Significant Difference Method. Seven healthy college soccer players were attended a test. All parameters were recorded using the Zebris system. Spatio-temporal variables were no significant difference. Lateral symmetry was statistically significant differences (p<.05). Vertical GRF parameters were no significant difference. Medial midfoot pressure, lateral midfoot pressure and central forefoot pressure were statistically significant differences (p<.05). This study demonstrates that playing surface significantly affects difference soccer shoes during soccer game. Furthermore, epidemiological investigation is warranted to determine the effects of playing surfaces on sport specific injury mechanisms.

  • The Purpose of this study was to reveal the biomechanical difference of two soccer footwear(soft ground footwear and hard ground footwear). Secondly, the purpose of this study was to clarify how each type of soccer footwear effects soccer players, which will provide scientific data to coaches and players, to further prevent injuries and to improve each players capacity. The result of comparative analysis of two soccer footwear can be summarized as below. The comparison of the very first braking force at walking found distinctive factors in the statistical data(t=3.092, p<.05). Braking impulse of two difference footwear showed distinctive factors in the statistical data(t=2.542, p<.05). In comparing GRFz max(N), the result showed a statistically significant difference in the two soccer footwear at running(t=2.784, p<.05). In the maximum braking impulse(t=2.774, p<.05) and propulsive impulse for antero-posterior direction, there was a statistically significant difference between the two soccer footwear at running. In the maximum braking force(t=3.270, p<.05) and propulsive force(t=4.956, p<.05) for antero-posterior direction, there was a statistically significant difference between the two soccer footwear at running. Significant differences were not found in moment(rotational friction) with two difference soccer footwear(moment max; t=2.231, moment min; t=1.784).

  • In this paper, two kinds of controller are proposed for a soccer robot system.. One for Supervisor and defense mode, and the other for attack mode. Robot soccer game has very dynamic characteristics. Furthermore, there exist competitions between agents. The soccer-playing robot should take an appropriate action according to its surroundings. Initially, an attack mode controller using a vector field concept is designed, then a supervisor and a defense mode controller are designed with a Petri-net. The efficiency and applicability of the proposed controllers are demonstrated through a real robot soccer game(MiroSot 97).

  • Soccer is one of the popular sports globally, and South Korea is no exception; the professional domestic soccer tournament has been held in South Korea since 1983. The national soccer team in South Korea has shown outstanding performances, hosting the 2002 World Cup and achieving a bronze medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games and second place at the 2019 U-20 World Cup. In addition, one of the South Korean soccer players, Heung-min Son, has played a remarkable role in the English Premier League. Like other global soccer clubs, South Korean domestic soccer clubs create and manage their own YouTube channel to interact with fans and keep them updated. In this study, we explore how and why Seoul E-Land Football Club (SEFC) utilizes its YouTube channel. SEFC is distinctive in that they are playing at the second division, their home ground is based in Seoul, and they are sponsored by a company run on Christian values. We analyze one of the soccer club's YouTube channels multi-dimensionally and discover the roles of YouTube.

  • The Purpose of this study was to compare the biomechanical difference of two soccer footwear. which will provide scientific data to coaches and players, to further prevent injuries and to improve each players skills. The result of this study can be summarized after testing the two types of soccer footwear with comparative transforming heel angles and also with a pressure distribution in running. When a player's foot first touched the ground, the average difference of in/eversion was between 1.2 and 3.1 degrees for the two soccer shoes. In regards to maximum inversion and eversion of foot, maximum tibial rotation, and maximum and total movement of foot, the condition of barefoot and the two soccer shoes showed a small difference from 1.5 to 3.5 degrees and the difference among the subjects of study wasn't constant. In regards to maximum velocity of inversion and eversion running in one's bare feet showed much lower inversion velocity in comparison to putting on two types of soccer shoes and comparison of the average. Among some of the subjects, after putting on the two types of soccer shoes exceeded $97^{\circ}/s$ in maximum velocity of eversion. In the maximum braking impulse(t=2774, p<.05) and propulsive impulse for antero-posterior direction, there was a statistically significant difference between the two soccer footwear at running. In the maximum braking force(t=3.270, p<.05) and propulsive force(t=4.956, p<.05) for antero-posterior direction, there was a statistically significant difference between the two soccer footwear at running.

  • The design of soccer studs is important for providing friction on a variety of surfaces. We hypothesized that a certain type of soccer studs could improve performance due to high rotational friction. Thus, this study was conducted to determine the relationship between the frictional characteristics and different soccer stud design. Twelve recreational soccer players were recruited. Rotational friction data from the force plate was collected for all subjects during normal walking with 180 degree rotation. Walking speed was controlled at 1.2m/s (${\pm}\;0.1\;m/s$) with timing lights on infilled artificial turf. Three different types of soccer studs and one running shoe were tested. Repeated measures ANOVA was used to determine significance. Significant differences were found in rotational friction with four different shoes. Trx and World studs tended to have greater maximum rotational friction than the running shoe (Nova) and traditional soccer shoe(Copa Mondial). The results were as follow : world(25.95Nm) > trx(25.74Nm) > copa(22.50Nm) > nova(16.36Nm). The difference may be due to the number, location, size, and shape of studs. We concluded that stud design influences rotational friction between the shoe and surface during movement. Based on studs design and contact area, Trx with blade type studs are recommended since it showed high rotational friction for performance as well as enough contact area for stability. However, differences due to the mechanical properties of soccer studs are still being investigated.

  • Soccer is type of sport that carries a high risk of injury. Injury is not only cause in the unlucky soccer carrier and also team performance as well as financial effects can be worse since soccer is a team-based game. The duration of recovery from a soccer injury typically relies on its type and severity. Therefore, we conduct this research in order to predict the probability of players injury type using machine learning technologies in this paper. Furthermore, we compare different machine learning models to find the best fit model. This paper utilizes various supervised classification machine learning models, including Decision Tree, Random Forest, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and Naive Bayes. Moreover, based on our finding the KNN and Decision models achieved the highest accuracy rates at 70%, surpassing other models. The Random Forest model followed closely with an accuracy score of 62%. Among the evaluated models, the Naive Bayes model demonstrated the lowest accuracy at 56%. We gathered information about 54 professional soccer players who are playing in the top five European leagues based on their career history. We gathered information about 54 professional soccer players who are playing in the top five European leagues based on their career history.

  • This paper presents an artificial intelligent model for a soccer robot. We classified soccer robot as artificial intelligent model into three elemental groups including instinct intuition and reason. Instinct is responsible for keeping the ball, walking or rushing toward the ball. This is very simple fundamental action without regard to associates and enemies. Intuition contributes to the faster/slower moving and simple basic turning to get near to the ball and to make a goal noticing associates and enemies. Reason is the most intelligent part, the law of reason is not simple relatively with instinct and intuition. We shall expect to design the best law of reason for a soccer robot some time. We also compared nerve system and muscles of human being model with controller and motors of a physical soccer robot model individually. We had designed several algorithms and made programs to investigate effects and control soccer robot.
