  • Purpose - In a global economy, marketers are required to understand service quality from an international consumer viewpoint. Despite the increased need for cross-cultural research, few studies have developed service quality research international in scope. The present research aims to shed light on variations in airline service quality among international consumers. Research design, data, and methodology - Conducting crosscultural research, this study compares airline service quality variations, investigating an international consumer group and a Korean consumer group. T-test and factor analyses are applied to examine mean scores and factor structure of the airline service dimensions. Results - The results indicate there are significant differences in mean comparisons between the groups. The international consumers indicate significantly higher service perception scores than the Koreans. Further, we find that the factor structure of airline service quality diverges between the groups. The international group considers airline service quality in four dimensions, while Koreans consider it in two. Conclusions - The study sheds new light on international service variations and suggests that the field of airline service quality may differ by nations and/or cultures.

Upon the signing and enactment of Free Trade Agreement with the U.S. and the EU, agriculture and fishery product have become the center of attention. Agriculture and fishery was reported to be 80million dollars, 1.46% of total national export, in 2012. Starting from2000, South Korea's government began its effort to expand agriculture and fishery export and as a result, export has steadily increased despite decreased consumption led by global recession. K-Sure has started an insurance program with the purpose of promoting SME business's export. It protects SME business against risk arising from credit, emergency, bad debt, and domestic price increase. This study aims to evaluate the service quality of K-Sure's insurance program via surveying SME businesses in the agriculture and fishery industry. Also this study will identify key service factors for SME businesses and explore ways to expand SME exports of agriculture and fishery by analyzing consumer satisfaction index. Results indicated service product quality factor, service communication quality factor, and social quality factor was key to improving consumer satisfaction for SME businesses in agriculture and fishery industry. Service product quality factor had a negative effect on consumer satisfaction in term of variety and results indicated that service communication quality factor's responsiveness element had minimal impact on consumer satisfaction. • Most published work on product quality focuses on manufactured goods. The subject of service quality has received less attention. This distinction is important because some of the quality-improving strategies avaliable to manufacturers may be inappropriate for service firms. Services are performances, not objects. They are often produced in the presence of the customer, as in the cause of hotel restaurant services, quality occurs during service delivery, usually in an interaction between the customer and contact personnel of service firm. for this reason, service quality is highly dependent on the performance of employees, an organizational resource that cannot be controlled to the degree that components of tangible goods can be engineered. The study has begun as a basic study for customer satisfaction-oriented management in understanding the service quality of food & beverage products and through a systematic analysis of it. The major purpose of the study was to examine the relationship of the customer satisfaction and service quality in consideration of reliability, empathy, responsiveness, tangibility and assurance. An empirical research was conducted based on the previous theoretical studies. 286 customer at first class hotels in Seoul were selected as samples of this study. The time period of research was from February through March 1999, and answers were processed by SAS to yield frequency analysis, multivariate statistical analysis and regression analysis. The finding of the statistical treatment are frequencies, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis, path analysis. SERVQUAL method was used the service quality evaluation methods. After factor analysis, it was resulted to 3 factors. those were factor 1(assurance.empathy.responsiveness), factor 2(reliability), factor 3(tangibility). The findings of the statistical treatment are as follows. First, the attribute measurement of performance service quality was affected by customer satisfaction. Second, the attribute measurement of performance service qualify was affected by repurchase intention. Third, The attribute measurement of performance customer satisfaction was affected by repurchase intention. The result of study model was followed, service quality was affected repurchase intention than customer satisfaction. indirected effect through, service duality and customer satisfaction was affected repurchase intention.

  • Aiming at the phenomenon of false information issued by service providers in cloud computing environment, a method for service evaluation based on fuzzy theory is put forward in this paper. According to the quality of services provided by cloud service providers and their behavior during interactions, a trust relationship between cloud service providers and cloud service consumers is established, which can be quantified by using fuzzy theory. The quality of services is evaluated by drawing on the trust relationship. In our method, the recommendation credibility of a cloud service consumer is determined through behavior similarity with evaluators and a praise factor. The introduction of the praise factor better suits the phenomenon of a high-quality service getting more repeat customers. The negative impact of dishonest customers is reduced, and the accuracy of trust and cloud service quality evaluation is improved by introducing a confidence factor that can be dynamically adjusted. The experimental results show that our method can effectively and accurately evaluate the trust value and service quality of providers, while weakening the influence of dishonest consumers, and quickly detect dishonest service providers. This is beneficial for consumers trying to find high quality service providers for similar services.

  • This paper address the issues of satisfaction factors to measure the service quality in computer communication service users. In order to develope a satisfaction factors' model, we study appropriate quality factors of the service through the focus group interviews with service users, and surveys the quality levels that users have felt in services. It also analyzes the relationship between the user's quality level and the quality factors by the statistical analyses. Based on the optimal regression model, we suggest an appropriate satisfaction model in PC communication service areas. That model shows that most users are interested in the fare for use. Use-fare factor is the most powerful one to the satisfaction model. Second one is usefulness, next is correctness. But connect-status factor is the only negative one. Most users think that its factor is in the way of fluent communication. So to keep the competitiveness in the PC communication service, the sixth negative factor should be modified as soon as possible.
